If ever find your self wandering Queen St. W.and looking for some excellent West Indian food, this is the place to go (or order take-out). Visited for the first time today and had the best roti! Highly recommend!

Peanut punch and buss up shot [ Roti - shell ] is everything.

Plus, the front counter attendant looks exactly like actor Yul Byrnner!

* He was giving Hollywood royalty! *

An amazing and unlisted west end staple. Their curry chicken is stewed in the pot. It's fantastic, and not like the other quick curry places that just throw in boiled chicken and added sauce. Portions are generous and rice and beans also cooked traditionally.

The customer service at this establishment is atrocious. The food isn't the best and not unthetic tasting. Always check your order before leaving. Do not, I repeat, do not buy the homemade ice cream. For authentic tasting Trini food with excellent customer service go to Indar's, Mona's, Leela's or Drupati's.

Had a large order and didn’t receive items - do not order from apps, they won’t refund you.

**overall food is great - recommend the Doubles with pepper/tamarind sauce and for sure!

This in my books is a caribbean treasure in Toronto. I am from the caribbean and I can eat roti every single day. Their Dhalpuri rotis are divine. At this point I’m a walking billboard for Ali’s. Their shrimp, goat, king fish & vegetable roti’s are the cats meow.

We got the double and it was so delicious. I also got some treats like the red mango, Tamarind sweets and the pastry. All super tasty. Highly recommended.

When I called the restaurant the lady that answered was rude on the phone. When my order was delivered items were missing. The kurma was stale. Absolutely horrible experience.

Toronto is a Roti town, and Ali’s is certainly at the top of the heap - don’t miss the doubles (and don’t forget to add chutney!). Beware of hot sauce - packs a punch.

It was sunday and the local roti restaurants are closed. I rode my bicycle to alis to get a roti. Its been quite a few years the last time ive been at alis since i moved out of the area.
The chicken roti was okay. I found the filling was abit too sweet there was not enough curry in the sauce. The pastry is still great though. If you dont mind a chicken filling that is sweet, then this is your place. My preference is more savory than sweet. I also prefer a stronger curry taste as well. The doubles were great though. I would return for the doubles.
