I had Simon S.as my instructor, and I could not have asked for anyone better and more dedicated to the task! He was very patient, and detail oriented, and gave his undivided attention to my driving and to the road. I felt comfortable asking questions, and always received clear answers (sometimes even with illustrations for visual aid!).
I had received driving lessons from another private instructor a few years back, and when comparing, I have so much appreciation for Simon’s professional instruction methods.

I took lessons here for my G2 6 years ago so I thought I'd come back for a couple more for my G. Hamid was my instructor and he was great! Such a friendly man and he knows his stuff. He was patient with me and always gave me tips for little things I need to change and do that they look for on the test. He definitely helped me pass.

After nearly a three year gap since obtaining the G2 driving license, it was time for me to take the G Road test. Due to lack of access to a car, I lost touch of certain maneuvers. This is where the wonderful driving instructor Mansoor came in. I took 6 private lessons with him and he made me absolutely ready for the G Road test. I am happy to convey that I passed the G Road test in the first attempt itself. Credit completely goes to Mansoor for his patience and teaching methods which proved very effective. I had a great driving experience with my instructor Basir. He gave me the confidence and skills needed to pass my G2 road test. He was always very positive and patient with me. I do not think I would have passed my G2 if it wasn't for him!

When I first started driving I had no idea what I was doing. However, under Anderson's tutelage I was able to become a great driver easily within the 10 lessons that I've had under him.

Anderson is a very knowledgeable, understanding, and professional instructor that knows everything that you need to know about the road. He'll prep you easily for driving, turning, parking, and anything that's needed for the G2 test.

Before driving with him I was nervous and quite frankly afraid of driving. Now I feel confident and very comfortable with driving on the road and street. My experience with Anderson has been nothing short of successful and incredible.

(Side note: after getting my G2 Anderson gave a few points and tips about highway driving.)

All Star driving provides a wonderful service with great staff! My instructor was Hamid and he is great. He is knowledgeable and helpful while explaining the rules of the road. He is a patient and kind person. Many of the tasks required that I thought were difficult were made easy using Hamid’s tips. As I was nervous, he made me feel at ease and confident with my driving. I am writing this review from a Mothers perspective. Both my, daughters took lessons with All Star. I must attribute their confidence and skill to their instructor Basir. My daughters, Alyssa and Ashley really enjoyed having him as an instructor. He is friendly and extremely patient. I believe these qualities are what make him such a great instructor and I would recommend him to any parent who is looking for a instructor for their child/children. As a Mother, I am very grateful to him, It is never easy watching your child drive away alone for the first time (I must admit, the second time around is easier) but regardless, you just want your children to be safe at all costs and because of Basir, I feel confident in my kids driving and parking abilities. Anderson is a very informative and professional instructor that knows his stuff. He prepares you well for both driving on your own and passing the G2 test. Every class, he will run over the important manoeuvres and techniques that will be essential to passing the G2 test. I was able to pass with 10 lessons!

As a very anxious and nervous new driver, I felt confident and comfortable practicing with Anderson in his car and with his guidance.
My experience with Anderson has been wonderful and I would highly recommend him to anyone that may be looking to take their test in the Newmarket area.

As a bonus note, after I completed my G2 test Anderson taught me a little about highway driving! He really looks out for his students' success and I will definitely be asking him to help me with my G test next year!

My original driving instructor from this place would not allow me to book sessions in advance, only booking it one at a time. This is why I only did 4 stars.

I just passed my G2 road test, and I could not be more thankful for the lessons I had with my instructor Basir. He takes a very systematic and methodical approach to his teaching, which helped a tremendous amount with my learning. From the very first lesson, Basir introduced me to parallel parking, which was my most worrisome area, and outlined a clear and specific formula to perfect it every time. Furthermore, as with all his lessons, he goes into detail about why certain formulas work and how to adjust them if environmental factors change, such as larger or smaller parking spaces. This helped a lot as all his teaching work no matter the situation you are in and no matter the location your examiner takes you.

Additionally, Basir was always very professional and punctual with all our lessons, which established a good environment for me to learn in. He's also super friendly and gave me the confidence I needed to pass my G2. I passed the test on the first attempt and my examiner had no critiques or comments except "well done". I definitely recommend taking lessons with Basir and I think all of Basir's students will have no problems passing.

My son finished 10 classes package last month, in general it’s an ok experience for new drivers and students, the 1 star review is for the fact that they’re not transparent when they advertise everywhere verbally and on their website discounts the new drivers will get from the insurance after they complete the course that’s B. S, turns out major Insurance Companies have opted out giving these kind of discounts years ago

Awful experience with branch team located on Yonge and Elgin Mills I would rate them minus five stars if I could.
Months after we paid the agreed price and kept the original receipt all star sent back manually corrected receipt shows we paid less and they refused to continue my daughter's course for which they committed until we pay as per their fake receipt.when asked if they will honor the price showed on the original receipt if we submit back to the school, they said yes, however after we sent a copy they came with new stories and excuses and refused to accept the original receipt.zero trust on their clients. I'm so unhappy with this branch. Will never go back to them and will continue to share my bad experience in social media. All star don't even try to call me back we are not interested in your poor services any more.

I just passes my G2 license test thanks to All Star. My teacher, Sobia is an amazing instructor and she taught me everything I needed to know for the G2 as well as to be a good driver. She was also very encouraging and kind when addressing me so I am very grateful to her. Overall an amazing school.

I've had three instructors, and by far Anderson was the best. He was professional, helpful, and overall a good instructor.

I chose the 10 hour lesson + Road Test package to get my G2 license, and I am absolutely thrilled! I just passed it today thanks to my teacher Hamid. Hamid is very patient, helpful, and makes sure you are fully prepared and comfortable in all driving areas before your road test. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for their G2/G license! My overrall experience with All Star Richmond Hill is very negative for these reasons:

1. Unprofessionnal agent named Rebecca who treatens to kick me out and cancel my lessons because I was asking them to provide me with the quality service I paid for: The driving instructor was not showing up after we planned and agreed on the day and time of the lessons. Therefore, I went to the office to ask what was going on with the instructor.

2. Unprofessional and rude driving instructor named Hamid who kept on shouting at me because I didnt do properly things he never taught me to do (it was my first time behind the wheel). He keeps on criticizing my driving and saying things like "why you didnt learn to drive in my home country? ", "you dont have enough cars over there? ".

This lack of respect is too much. Therefore I resquested a refund and find another school.

If you are a Black person, whether from Africa or America, be aware of this. Probably they have no respect for Black people.

Horrible horrible driving school.the instructors were not professional at all and they try to scam you.i switch instructor multiple times but never ended up with a decent one.but the customer service lady is very sweet <3

I loved my instructor from all star. His name was Tony, and man was he the best. I had a massive fear of driving due to a previous teacher, but Tony helped me get over my fear and get back on the road. Honestly one of the nicest and most helpful teachers around. Definitely recommend him!

Hamid was my instructor. He was amazing! Very easy to talk to, his phone is always on if you ever need to ask a question. Absolutely horrible driving school, do not pick.

My G2 Test: This was 5 years ago but my driving instructor retired and left Canada, which wasn’t the issue but he left his son, who somehow got approved to help me thru the G2 test day, who had LITERALLY less than 6 months of teaching experience, he gave me zero tips and wasn’t specific enough about his feedback AND I FAILED MY G2. I was a broke student at the time so I had to pay 2x (to recruit instructor and get car use & the Ontario test fee), since I failed. All because they couldn’t pair me with someone else and didn’t replace my instructor. They didn’t warn me they were substituting him with in his son either.

This experience haunts me and I didn’t end up doing my next exam until a few years later where I recruited a private driving instructor from Vaughan.

It was a very pleasant experience throughout. Tony gave excellent practical advice which made it easy for me to correct my mistakes. I passed the road test in the first attempt, all credit goes to Tony!

I did my lessons with Saad, and had an absolute blast. Not only is he a great instuctor that explains everything easily which allowed me to learn everything quickly, but he is also very outgoing and fun to be around. If you need to learn how to drive quickly with great results hit up Saad. Loved my experience!

Saad was my driving instructor for my G test (which I passed). He helped a lot with understanding the roads in a very realistic way. I didn’t feel like I was following everything very linear. All of his advice were very practical and straight to the point. He gives really good advice. Definitely recommend him for his positivity and his style of teaching.

I started my driving lessons in September and Saad was my driving instructor. I just got my g2 on December 2nd. I learned so much just in my first lesson and felt confident that i would pass my test by like the 4th lesson! Basir is a great instructor who's really paitent with his students and will constantly practice on what you need help with, he will help you get confident for your G2 test and is a very friendly person!

Basir was an excellent driving instructor. He treats his students like his friends, and he doesn’t pressure them. He creates a comfortable environment in which students can become confident with their driving abilities. He is a natural comedian but when it comes to driving, he doesn’t joke around and ensures that his students are prepared for the future whether it’s for the G2 test or any situations in life! The driving formulas that he developed are feasible and practical to learn and he teaches hard maneuvers such as parallel parking like it’s nothing. His advice is impeccable and if you are ever doubting something, he will always clarify himself and he does not raise his voice when mistakes are made. I would easily say that he is an astute, and comprehensible driver. His knowledge and experience ensure that young and new drivers will not fear the road but they can conquer any challenging situations. After taking 10 lessons from Basir, I can confidently say that he is the ace of All Star Driving. Hands down, the best instructor. The first reason why I think Basir is the best instructor is because of his amazing organization skills. If you book a lesson with him, he will always be on time. Basir will also build a schedule based on the student’s need. For instance, if you want a lesson at 3 am, no problem, he will come at 3 am. Second reason why Basir is a top instructor is the way he teaches. The formulas that he derived from years of experience truly surprised me and far exceeded my expectations. I will not reveal his formula but, I can confidently say that anyone who learn under Basir will master parallel and reverse parking under 3 lessons, because he will take you to a parking lot every single class.
