I had an instructor, Iain, who helped me prepare for my G2 test. He was amazing, super funny and supportive. Aside from that, he gave great tips that eventually led to me passing my road test on the first try! We even kept in touch after we finished our lessons, and he continued being incredibly helpful and kind. Thank you Iain!

Very unprofessional, they would order tim hortons during our lesson or step out for a cigarette. The instructors don't have any patience. Waste of money. If you want to learn at this school make sure you read the rules about refunds before missing the policy date. Didn't end up getting my license with them. They would drive from my area, have me sit in the drivers seat and drive to pick up another client then drive back to my area and drop me off. This they call a driving lesson.

My son had an awesome experience with All Star Driving School! The in class portion was fun and completed in just 2 weekends! He had a wonderful in car experience with Iain who was professional kind and knowledgeable. He also took time to communicate with us parents and give us feedback along the way! Thank u Iain! Faraz is the best instructor out there. Not only does he explain the rules of the road well, he also teaches you how to drive with confidence! I passed my G2 on my first try thanks to him. Will be recommending him to all my friends!

Not very good experience. Had to call to book an appointment with the instructor before test for in-car lessons. Didn’t give me any details and just hung up the call without listening what a customer wants to say… pathetic!

This school is full of professional people! I was instructed by Rafi, he’s a great guy, knows how to teach and tries his best to have you correct your mistakes, he can be strict at times but that’s because he wants to his students to do their best by, again, correcting their mistakes and he can be a nice guy to talk to as well once you manage to get the hang of driving properly and talking at the same time. Again, a really great instructor.

Mr. Shiraz is a brilliant driving instructor, he has excellent ethics, good instructing and teaching capability and very nice behaviour.

I took all star driving school shortly after getting my G1, my instructor Ian taught me very well how to drive, park, and be a safe driver on the road, I recently passed my G2 road test and am very glad to have gone with all star!

Both my sister and I learned to drive with All star driving school. We had a really good experience. Ian, our driving instructor, taught us everything we needed to know. We recommend this driving school to anyone who is looking to improve their driving skills, and learn how to drive as a beginner. Also ask for Ian if you get the chance, he is the best driving instructor!

I’ve just passed my G2 test with All Star Driving! I’ve had multiple instructors, some better than others, but all star was very helpful and I found my groove with Mansoor. He is a new instructor, but his expertise, patience, and skill was truly helpful. Everything went smoothly and I am very grateful to All Star and especially to Mansoor!

With the help of my driving instructor Mohsen, I was able to break my bad driving habits and become a safer driver. He was friendly, understanding, and explained driving concepts in a way that was easily understandable to me. I would definitely recommend all star driving school to anyone learning to drive. Overall, I had a great experience with All-Star Driving School. I passed my G2 road test today on the first try and I felt very confident and prepared. I highly recommend Faraz as he taught me everything I needed to know for my test. Also big shoutout to Malik who took me to the test and gave me one last useful refresher.

Administration with the school was helpful, and quick to respond, but I would suggest against choosing raffi as your instructor. Even though his teaching methods were ok and fairly understandable, he got angry easily, and often tried to cut my on road driving sessions short by 5-10 minutes, turning a 60 minute session into 50 minutes (doesnt seem like a lot but over 10 hours, it adds up). Also, I initially chose package 1 (without usage of instructor's car on the day of the drivetest), which is 200 dollars cheaper than if you package 2 (where you are able to use instructor's car). However, when i tried to switch to package 2, he tried to upcharge me 300 dollars.what a scam.and then when i decided to use my own car for the drivetest and not his, he refused to continue teaching me, forcing me to find another instructor.

Amazing driving school! I started driving school at 21 after being in an accident which kept me from getting my license for many years. I passed my G1 and G2 on the first try with the amazing help from Zubair and Moe. I had an issue with my first instructor and All Star addressed my concerns right away. I'll 100% be back to practice for my G test!

My instructor was Aziz and he was amazing. Very professional and teaches you everything that you need to know. Took me to my G2 test and walked me through the whole process and made it a pleasant experience!

All Star Driving School helped me achieve success twice now! Aziz is a fantastic instructor. I have worked with him for my G2 and my G, and passed both tests due to his effective and concise teaching. Being informative, friendly and engaged, I cannot recommend Aziz and All Star more.

I have now used All Star Driving School in Thornhill for both of my kids who passed their driving tests on their first try. Everyone was always a pleasure to deal with and offered a great experience both in-class and in-car. I would highly recommend this driving school.

The worst driving school ever.
Don’t waste your time and money here.

After in class lessons, they keep delaying your booking driving classes.

Once you finally complete 10 driving lessons, which took us for more than half a year.

And later they won’t update your driving license history to help reduce your car insurance at all.

Which you paid them for nothing and irresponsible service.

I just passed my G2 cause of the great teachings of Malik and zubair I’m looking forward to come back in a year for my G. To be honest the in part class is not very difficult so once I found that out it really changed my whole view on driving altogether for the better, but the in car practice is where I really solidified all that I learned in class with the help from zubair and Malik, I really don’t think I would of done it without them so kudos to them and thanks so much.

I had Anil as my Driving instructor. Anil is so kind, helpful and very easy to talk to. I feel so comfortable on the roads. He booked my lessons right away with me. He stuck to them and won’t stand you up if someone else has there drivers test. From the moment I got in his car I already knew that I would become a better driver with him. I suggest that other students drive with Anil as I have already recommended friends to him. Thanks Anil!

I enjoyed driving with Malik, he is an amazing driving teacher! He taught me very well and he is an enjoyable person to be in the car with!

I went for in class with Zubair and driving with Malik. They are both amazing people, Zubair specializes in working with individuals that have anxiety on the road and Malik is the owner of All Star Driving. Malik works almost everyday teaching students, he’s been teaching for 40 years. I went from never driving and having no idea what I’m doing behind the wheel, to being one of the most confident drivers on the road and passing my G2 in one go. I am very happy with my experience. I will be having my sister learn to drive with Malik as well, hopefully he will not have retired by then. Zubair is very knowledgeable and will teach you things in class that you might not learn anywhere else. I was scared that I’d be bored to tears in class, but I actually had quite a bit of fun. Tip: answer as many questions as you can in class, it’ll make the written test a lot easier.

I finished my 10 hours lesson with Sher and I felt more confident driving on the road. He taught everything I needed to know to drive safely and confidently as well as parking. Never thought I could learn how to drive and park within 10 hours:)

I had Anil as an instructor and his communication was great, he booked my lessons with me right away. I love his method of teaching and I've learned so much with him. He truly cares about his students and their improvement. He helps his students become comfortable on the road and I definitely recommend him to others.

In class lessons were amazing, very fun and interactive, loved it; rate it a 5. In car lessons however were downright ridiculous, had to change instructors about 3 times. 1st instructor: he was alright but wasted my time, on my first day, he in my opinion gave me attitude for tiny mistakes (fyi i never set foot in the drivers seat until the lesson began, FIRST TIME EVER being the driver). Made me perform a U turn on my 2nd 1 HOUR lesson, giving me attitude saying "did you not hear me! ". I did hear him but my hands just wouldn't move, i was too nervous for goodness sake. 3rd lesson cancelled about 30mins before my actual lesson. 4th lesson which i would consider as my 3rd, had a lesson but this one lesson was alright until he made me park in a tims and wait there wasting my time (about 5-10 mins wasted probably more) instead of just going through a drive thru or not go to a tims at all and just wait until its necessary and not during your students 1 hour lesson (after that he didnt even let me continue with the missed minutes i had, i felt like it wasnt even 1 hour i got). Then the last lesson with him which was supposed to be my 5th but i consider it my 4th, canceled about 6 mins AFTER my time was suppose to start. At that point ive had it and decided to get a new teacher. So i did, the new teacher is good and currently have still. He is patient, kind, and wants to make you pass. However i do have downsides with this teacher, his scheduling is 2 weeks in advance, i am working 2 jobs and currently in school, so my schedule can be very unpredictable and he has a schedule on when to call him. Due to this i have to cancel because my schedule never seems to meet his. I had to call allstar to change instructors again but the 3rd instructor couldnt help me much because he was leaving the country for a whole month and it would jeopardize me. So due to that i went back to my 2nd instructor. I only had 2 classes with him so far which were good, better than the first teacher to be honest. But i just wish it could be better in terms of scheduling, i know these teachers have a life outside of their driving school job but seriously when you are just desperate to finish this and running out of time it just brings your hope of finishing to an all time low. I am writing my experience for those who maybe interested in this school. Please choose carefully. Because not everything is always what they seem.

Ps. I dont write reviews often, very long reviews too especially reviews that have a bad rating towards the company (not saying this company specifically) but i just feel i needed to voice out my opinion.

If I could, I not give this place any rating. Such a SHITTY institute. I had paid the entire amount of 10 classes and the road test to the institute directly. The Instructor Sher Khan, on the first day itself started cribbing as to why I paid the institute directly, I should have paid him in cash. Even though I was not confident he booked my G2 test on my 3rd class itself. I kept telling him, that I am not confident, yet he refused to believe me. He was always on the phone talking to his relatives during the sessions. He completed only 8 classes and the last 2 class was on the day of the test and he still took extra money from me for changing the test centre.
On the day of the test he started insisting me to give him the rest of the money in cash, when he had specifically told me to give him a cheque. He made me pay him the entire amount before the test.
And I failed the test! He started blaming me immediately stating that I would not have followed the Main instructors instructions while giving the test.
He also was saying that he had a back problem and that his back was paining him and he started touching me to show me where it was paining him. HOW CAN YOU TOUCH SOMEONE!
He didnt bother getting in touch with me after the test.
I called their institute to complain, and their Supervisor Natasha only told me that whatever he did was right. There is nothing wrong that he did.
When I was adamant that I want an action taken against him, She was just saying that she will talk to him and see what can be done.
I specifically told her that i do not want him to contact me again, and he calls me immediately within 10 Mins.
Stay away from them if you want to save your money and time. Absolutely Unprofessional!

10/10 driving school! Very organized and the instructors give the best care for their students. Passed my g2 on the first try BIG thanks to Malik for teaching me everything from his 40 years of instructing, 10/10 recommendation

My son bought a package of driving lessons and at every turn he got messed up by this driving school.

DO NOT USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOl!

In a package of 15 lessons he was given 7 different instructors and had about 10 lessons cancelled. They kept saying their instructors were “getting sick”. Because of the vast number of times they cancelled, my son was only able to get 11 of his 15 lessons. The day of his G2 test he was supposed to have two more lessons and the test. They called him that morning and told him that the driver was in an accident and they were cancelling the lessons and driver for the test. After a lot of negotiations they found a driver for the test but cancelled the lessons. Now my son is having his G test and the office set up a teacher and lessons to honour two of the lessons they owe us. The first driver “got sick” so the found a second one. The second one “got sick” and asked one of his buddies to cover, but when the driver showed up he demanded payment and the owner who didn’t have the decency to even speak to us decided that they are refusing to honour the rest of my son’s lessons.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DRIVING SCHOOL.

They are a bunch of crooks.

Wow! What an experience! This was totally worth my march break. Not only did I learn in this week how to ace my road test I truly feel that I am going to be a safer driver. Big thank you to zubair, the GOAT! He is an amazing teacher and I’m so glad I got to learn from him. Never gonna forget this.

Everyone in the facility is really nice and the material and methods they teach is very helpful in telling you what you need to know to pass your road test.

Mr. Malik is a good driving teacher. I failed my road test so many times but with his help I was able to pass. He is a nice guy and a great teacher.

This place is terrible and I am surprised by the positive reviews because if you ask around you'll quickly learn how bad their reputation is. My son has had 5 lessons in 7 months because they have cancelled more than a dozen times. We're now on our third instructor but we only ever had one show up. There's a reason Young Drivers costs twice as much, it's because they actually deliver the services you pay for. Warning do yourself a favour and choose a different school.

Service was great all around and I learned a lot in a short period of time. Would definitely recommend to anyone as a driving school.
