I was warned about the service from another landscaping friend how the service was awful. I bought a zero turn at Johnston and he was 100% right.
I had so many issues and none were resolved, especially after I called the Gravely company and they were not responsible for what the dealer will owner or not.
The truth I will never buy or refer anyone to that place and second I will never buy a Gravely again because even the company does no stand behind their customers.

Picked up a great backpack blower and heading back to pick up a used zero turn mower. I haven't needed the service department yet. Lots of choice and parts available for common items.

I drive 3.5 hours to purchase my snowmobiles as well as service my snowmobiles. People ask me why, there is an Arctic Car Dealer really close to you. The reason why is because of the trust, the piece of mind, the quality, the people, the service and Allan himself.

Hats off to the Service Dept.as my question was answered in 2 minutes. I bought a Huskivarna Snow Blower and when I went to check the oil level under the cap, the stick was gone. After a quick review, I was told to check the bottom of the engine for a separate stick Thanx for your help

The best service you could only wish for. Grant got a snowblower, I got weed wacker lines that I have been trying to find for 2 years now. Outstanding equipment and wonderful service. You would be foolish to shop anywhere else. 5 stars from us.

Have all the small engine tools you need. Small engine repair as well. Nice people to deal with.

I went to Allan Johnston to buy a chainsaw.
The bad experience started right at the beginning when I wasn’t allowed to get to see the merchandise and I had to remain behind a table at the entrance of the store.
The clerk was rude and he made me feel like if they were doing me a favor by selling me something. Beside not being courteous he was also careless.
I had to ask several questions to make sure that I was getting the appropriate tool for my needs and for my total inexperience with such a dangerous machine.
I even had to ask directly if I needed to buy oil for the saw, because the guy didn’t care enough to mention it to me.
Horrible service, careless and rude attitude.
Never again.
I spent $800 but that was my first and last time there.

Just coming back from their store. I was given a quote and had placed an order for zero-turn mower blades. They raised the price of the parts by 15% without letting me know when I was given the invoice. After I pointed it out to them, I was given some BS about the part number having changed. When I politely asked them to match the price we had agreed upon, the guy was rude and preferred to take back the blades instead. I am not very impressed. I don't know if they had made a honest mistake when they looked up the part or what, but nonetheless I would have liked to be told the truth. It is a shady way to practice business at best, if not an intentional dishonest method. I am disappointed because they are a small engine shop close to where I live, the owner seems to be a very nice person, and I like to buy locally when possible, but I like honesty when I do business and I was not impressed at all by the guy I dealt with. It is a matter of principle. Hopefully they will improve in the future.

Allan was totally helpful. Didn't have the pulley I needed but said I could order for you. Got my part promptly in a couple of days as promised. Allan was most friendly. I will deal there for all I need even though they aren't a John Deere dealer.
