Chef Tony made us feel like family. Sharing his stories and his culinary excellence, we enjoyed a beautiful evening at his place. We were told by friends to check this place out. Food was amazing. We had multiple food choices and all was delicious. Will be there again soon.

To be fair food was good. Service was good. Prices are very expensive but I’m not complaining as I was aware of it before going when I checked the restaurant online. What I didn’t like was that we were charged 10$ for a bottle of water that we didn’t even ask for and we didn’t even know we will be charged that, I didn’t notice that we were charged until after we left my wife told me. Anyway if you ever think of going and don’t wanna be scammed ask not to be served water in a bottle and if they have any special for the day ask how much it is because apparently they don’t have their specials on the menu so you don’t get surprised (shocked) at the end with the bill.

The Owner/Chef extraordinaire Tony and his server Rob were phenomenal! I have never been to a restaurant where the chef comes out to tell you the specials and sit with you. It was such a nice touch. And the food. OMG unbelievable! Thank you Tony and Rob. We found our forever place!

This restaurant is far from fine dining. Mediocre ambience, mediocre service, over priced specials ($79 veal chop, $79 rib eye) and a lousy wine selection. Local mediocrity at best. So many better choices for the money.

The most authentic and truly delicious Italian food I have been searching for in Bolton for years.

The personal touch that the owner and his wife provided for us was superb.

A lot of fancier and flashier restaurants in the area for sure, but this food cannot be beat.

Grilled calamari to die for.

Jumbo shrimp and mussels were INCREDIBLE.

Saturday night 7 PM we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. Tony sat us and brought us over a bottle of flat water as we sat down.
Service was good. However, the food was a bit expensive for what it was.
But overall, it was a nice experience.
Until today, when we actually looked at the bill, we paid it blindly. We were charged $10 for the water.on the bill, it was listed as mineral water. However, the water tasted like regular tapwater, and I had made a comment to my husband that the bottle it came in, the label I had almost been washed off and that it would look better if they had taken the time to completely peel the label off. The condition of the label on the bottle tells me that the bottle had been refilled, most likely with tapwater. After seeing this unexpected charge on our bill that we were not told about and the water was brought to us without asking.we will not return. We’d love to be able to support local businesses but will not support businesses that tack on unnecessary charges, and a sneaky and deceptive way!

Foods very good staff is very friendly great atmosphere lot of good options on the menu highly recommended to get dessert as well located in a quiet corner you’ll really enjoy your visit here a definite must to go here the Ravioli is amazing and probably the best pizza ever had

Great place for a dinner night out, service was excellent, the chef took his time and also spent time with us to get our feedback, highly reccomend.

Incredible patio outside under the trees. Cozy small place with only maybe 8-10 tables so a great place to take your first date. Fine dining atmosphere

Excellent food made with care and fine ingredients. Tony, the proprietor, was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our meal and his personal attention left us feeling warm on a cold winter night.

This is by far the best dining experience one can have, whether in Bolton or anywhere else. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious with truly unique menu offerings. I have been returning to Allegro for over 20 years with friends and family, and I always look forward to my next visit. The servers and owner Tony are affable hosts and will always make you feel comfortable and at home. I recommend Allegro to you with strong conviction.

I have dined at Allegro's a few times now. Each time I have done so, the food has been exceptional. The atmosphere is open and warm, very inviting to customers. I don't know why these reviews have to trash a business with obvious personal vendettas. My suggestion to future patrons who have a personal beef to fry.try cooking at home. Secondly, if you order a bottle of natural or carbonated water, you will be charged. If you see a bottle coming to the table, and you did not order it; kindly point it out to your server. If you end up drinking it, it will cost. And who doesn't notice a bottle of water being poured at your table, or delivered to the table, This is just common sense. Fine dining automatically has bottle service. And don't trash this establishment with your own personal issues. For all of you who have no idea the time, care and heart it takes to run a Fine Dining Restaurant, maybe you should consider it. Has anyone tried arguing with the chef at Grazie Restaurant? Yeah, didn't think so. You would be banned from re-entry. Please offer a little gratitude for your community. Thank you. From a truthful and loyal patron!

I recently celebrated a birthday with my family at Allegro. The owner Tony and his staff went out of their way to make it a special occasion. The food and the atmosphere were incredible. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
