Had a nice date here on a Saturday evening. Such a cosy place. The halibut and chips were delicious! They also have a great selection of beers Our waitress was on point as well, fabulous service. Would like to visit again:)

My favorite burger spot by far! Servers are always so nice! I tried the wings tonight also amazing! Food here is always amazing!

My fave go-to in the city for excellent and reasonably priced menu with great variety. Can't beat the scotch collection too!

We had a lovely brunch here on the weekend and we were quite pleased with the food and service. Will definitely come back as the lunch entrees looked great. Highly recommend!

We went for my mother's birthday, and could not have had a better experience. If I could rate them any higher I would. I've been to a lot of restaurants in Toronto and this one is just a cut above. The service was excellent, food and beverages were very timely and the taste of the food was so good I found myself doing little happy dances. The patio is stunning, and even the coffee was perfect.
I took a look at the 1 and 2 star reviews and they're a year old or older. Allen's is clearly listening and learning. The restaurant we went to is a well oiled machine.

Had the calamari and burger. Both were phenomenal. Great beer, wine and whisky selection. An amazing date, family or solo place for a night out *edited to add Caesar salad - best I’ve ever had!

Great back patio with a huge weeping willow shading you from the sun. Food always delicious and the service always superb. Michelle served us last time and she was ultra amazing! Thankyou for a great experience, Allen’s!

Was there with a large group. They have one of the most romantic patios in Greektown. The lamb shank was great, the soup was delicious! Definitely recommend it for a friends night out.

Great backyard patio but the menu is super dated the food was absurdly bland. Did not care to go beyond the appetizers, perhaps we should have since the main course seemed to be very popular but the starters threw me off a bit.

I might not be inclined to visit again unless somebody really recommends an item that I absolutely have to try.

Went out for a treat with my neighbour. Tried a light meal, BBQ Chicken with combo of 3 Salads, and they had Wild Boar. Chicken looked unappealing with BBQ sauce on a chicken breast. Sink was soft, and sauce was put on when done. My salads came with my neighbours on a plate. I tasted it and it was not very good. I thought it had come with salsa and suggested it would prove the meal. $2 charge for salsa which now made this a $38 meal. Not really a treat, I make better salads. Neighbours wild boar came with a tasty sauce but it was kind of raw in some places. I would stick with the burger in the future.

Everything was tasty. Very nice shaded patio. Were able to accommodate a big group at two tables. Very good staff.

They know their drinks and their meat. Ask about the animal/farm. As a proper English style pub, they make a decent curry to boot!

Pretty good place, unfortunately the back patio is under a massive tree and branches and leaves were falling into the food and on me. Not sure what they can do about that, but it is a bit annoying.

If I sat inside, like I did last time, the review would be 5 stars. I'd recommend sitting on the side away from the tree, where most people were seated.

Nice place with a lot of variety on the menu, an extensive drink menu and a nice patio too and friendly and professional staff. Also a good place for weekend brunch.

If you’re looking for a great place to dine and enjoy a fantastic patio, I highly recommend Allen’s on the Danforth in Toronto.

The food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. The mains are of incredible value and of great quality. I highly recommend the Guinness braised lamb shank, priced at $25.

Not my favorite experience, the service is super nice but thr food is not great. I ordered fish and chips which were bad.

The dish is overpriced for a single piece of fish with some fries, the fish was literally burned and I had to return it. They did exchange it but the second dish the fish was ok and the fries were super bad.

So eventually the whole experience was not great, I understand things happen but they ruined the second half of the dish on the second try. I wasn't going to wait for a third attempt

Went for brunch, the food was quite good (we had the Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros), service was great and the back yard patio was perfection, an oasis.
