I have just found out today that the clinic is permanently closed. Patients will need to seek medical help elsewhere. They need to reflect this online. It still shows that the clinic is open and this is not true.

Ive been waiting 8 months for a simple letter from Dr. Ganty for Insurance purposes. They rarely answer the phones or respond to emails. My life has been put on hold becauae of them. Pass

I called 7 time one days, next day again another 4 time nobody return my calls service is so bad.because Government pay? That’s the biggest problem if was personal they call you quick nobody controls this clinic they have patient for years and years and never get better why? Because OHP payed, I will call OHP to check this company definitely.

My wife has an infusion performed here by a Doctor for pain relief of a rare spine disease The doctor & staff are extraordinary people who actually care about their patients & follow up. She returns to the clinic about every 10 - 12 weeks.

I am still going to Allevio Pain Management and I still highly recommend this Pain Clinic above all others. I have OA and DDD and for the cherry on top of the Whipped Cream, Fibromyalgia. All of the treatments I receive there have made it possible to be able to do housework and a few other things I wasn't able to do at all before. At previous clinics the wait was insane. Sometimes 2 hours or more.
Not at Allevio! It's a whole different world there.
They care and understand that people in pain simply can't sit waiting for hours on end.

This place is by far, one of the most advance pain clinics out there. The staff are always on time. They always call to remind you about your appointment so you never miss it. The doctors and nurses are the most wonderful people you will meet. Amazing place to go to if you deal with life changing pain relating to many conditions. They listen to all your issues and they never dismiss you. I’ve been going here for 3 years now and I never felt rushed and they always took care of me!

I’ve been trying since July to get in touch with this clinic. No response to my emails and they aren’t taking calls last time I checked. I was also told after 3 months we would review the treatment and go from there. No three month follow up and no response from the clinic. If you only want drugs this is your place. If you want actual treatment go elsewhere.

First time at this clinic. The staff and Dr. Yao were very attentive. Made my anxiety much less of an issue. It went great. I only wish there were more health care providers with staff like this. Due to covid19 my treatment in the spring was understandably cancelled and I was told I could rebook as soon as it was possible to do so. When I did call back in early fall I was informed that the physician looking after my care was no longer there by Miguel and that he would have to ask another physician look after my care. When I asked how long he thought it would take I was told "it will take as long as it takes". I received a voicemail from Miguel a week later telling me that because the physician who was assigned to me had left I would have to have a new referral. I am not sure why as my first referral was to Allevio and not that specific doctor, but I complied and had my doctor send a new referral. That new referral was sent over a month ago and I have yet to hear back from anyone there. I have made so many attempts to get in touch with Allevio, but there is never a response. My treatment is seven months past due and no one there seems to care. I am honestly beyond disappointed in Allevio.

I've experienced knee pain for years and after injection I'm feeling no pain. This has allowed me to be more active. Dr Wong was amazing as she explained everything she was doing.so no surprises. Best I've felt in over 5 years.

After 8 years of seeing Dr. Safakish with great success and asking him to be a speaker for one of my medical symposiums. I was accused of trying to poach him for my own clinic even though I and the executive director of a non profit helping physicians and patients navigate the healthcare system. Ross Hedin one of the owners directly interfered in a referral back to Dr. Saficish and ghosted my referral. I made a complaint to the CPSO for failure to follow the 2 week guidelines in follow up with my referral.
Ross made extreme and reckless accusations against myself to avoid CPSO penalties.

Furthermore it to Allevio took 4 months to provide a full medical history to another pain clinic and if it wasn’t for my amazing family physician tearing Allevio a new one I’d still be waiting for my file.

This caused me unnecessary pain, anxiety and discomfort for a prolonged period of time.

I called them out on Facebook and Ross Hedin made slanderous accusations regarding myself to save face.

I am making another complaint to the CPSO in near future.

I suffer from back/hip and leg pain and the doctor at alivio recommended a nerve root injection under live xray to pinpoint and alleviate the cause of my pain. I was in horrible pain after the procedure and over the course of a year the pain got worse. My advice to anybody attending allevio is do your research and be careful which doctor you let muck around in your back with a needle.

Allevio pain clinic is totally one of a kind. There is nothing like it in canada. If you suffer from major pain, you need to see one of these amazing doctors. They have totally given me my life back I can enjoy life again with a little pain but nothing like it was before. Thank you so much to all the Staff at Allevio your truly appreciate and are amazing.

Usually I have no complaints with this office. Today however I was very upset. We travel from the burbs for these appointments and due to medical reasons I am unable to travel so far which means taking my husband away from work. That is what he did today. We paid 4.00 for parking and went in. I filled out the "have you traveled" form, which I had, and was then told the Dr.would not see me. I was already in the office. How do I know that the other patients in there were ok and hadn't been near an infected person. Why didn't they call me the day before and screen my travel on the phone. It was handled terribly. If they can auto text to confirm an appointment then they can adjust the message to include screen for travel. I am very aware of being careful as my child is due to have a baby this week and I would not put either of them in jeopardy. You need to get on top of this huge inconvenience. How a phone call is going to give a visual for assessment I will have to see.

If I could mark a higher score I would dr. Friedlander and the staff at this clinic I have given my life back. Prior to seeing them I was contemplating suicide because the pain was that bad. They have done so much and now finding out that surgery is imminent they up the dose and today during my infusion I noticed this. Hopefully after surgery I won't need this clinic but I will make sure that people in the Niagara region no about this clinic and the doctors associated to it.

My doctor, Dr. Kevin Smith has left Allevio and I have requested my records to send to his new practice and they never call back nor have they sent over my records. Excellent medical staff but poor communication for sure.

The staff and doctors are amazing. The only thing that didn't get them 5 Stars was that we have to pay for parking. I don't believe people that are in pain or have medical conditions should have to pay for parking.

Ended up being a bit of a waste of time and a disappointment, As they never even sent a recommendation to my doctor or looked at the records they asked me to bring from another city.

The doctors I saw were great although the communication and management in this clinic is terrible, the doctor called in sick the first day of my treatment and my entire treatment was pushed 2 months because they could not fit me in. Their email communication is useless, no one answers ever, and the doctors would never call you to discuss your results even though you were told he will do so. At my last visit I was asked to have xrays done and the doctor said he will call me in the next couple of days to discuss next steps. 10 days later I had not heard anything from anyone so I called to follow up about 4 times and left messages and it wasn’t after I begged for an answer that one of the receptionist called back with some info and told me that the doctors were going to discuss together and will give me a call soon, 2-3 days later I get a call from another clinic to schedule a consultation, I had been referred to this other clinic by the doctor I was seeing without absolute context, I had to call again to know the reason for the referral, and of course I could not talk to the doctor! The receptionist only read me the notes in my file which didn’t say anything about what my doctor had discussed with me in my last visit, it only said there wasn’t anything else they could do and they will refer me to another clinic. I appreciate not wasting my time but the least you can do is discuss with the patient why you are sending them to another clinic and why what was proposed and discussed previously is no longer an option. I have been bounced around for almost 3 years from doctor to doctor without anyone being able to find a solution or the reason for my pain, I am very frustrated and disappointed with the clinic, its customer service and communication is terrible, very unprofessional, impersonal and frustrating.

Went to 2 doctors there for chronic pain. Received some help from one of them. But neither was able to give me complete relief for even a short amount of time. But they tried.

Just my first visit but really impressed by the professional atmosphere, punctuality and friendly reception.
Clinic exam rooms are cleaner than many hospital equivalents.
My doctor was really easy to talk to and very knowledgeable.

I've changed my review for this place, because it's no longer the way it used to be. They used to be very attentive, but recently the frequently only give you 5 minutes max to talk to doctors. They front staff constantly fight you when you try to schedule appointments. This is because this clinic has seemed to put more emphasis on money making instead of on taking care of their patients, therefore they cram as many patients into their office as possible to be able to make the most money. The nurses that manage patients before they see the doctor or recieve and treatment have always been incredibly nice and caring, and so I have to issues with them.

Do not bother to call them very poor on answering the phone but when you get to the office nurses and doctors are amazing
