Super fast and efficient, and so friendly and professional. Told us several times to relax and let them take care of everything, which they did! We had the best experience.

They deserve the positive reviews- and I'm here to add mine. Not only was the front end administrative/estimate portion a straightforward process, the movers were wonderful. They were timely, neat, personable and professional.

The team that moved us was very nice and accommodating, moving the extra bags that we ended up having and the occasional miscellaneous item that we were too overwhelmed to pack properly. I would definitely use them again.

They initially provide a low quote but end up holding your belongings hostage until you pay them three to four times the original estimate. Their strategy includes deliberate time-wasting during loading, such as an unplanned early arrival and charging for that, excessive socializing, and other tactics to prolong loading as much as possible. This leaves your belongings on the truck, giving them the leverage to demand any price, often with the threat of leaving with your items. They also overestimate unloading time, charging for extra hours. For example, it took them 4 hours to load a 1+ bedroom apartment (even though everything was packed), and they estimated another 4 hours for unloading. However, they unloaded in just an hour after receiving payment for 8 hours of service. They have not responded to my attempts to seek reimbursement, and to make matters worse, our furniture was damaged during the process with scratches, broken stands, and more.

Hope this helps others to stay away from this company.

The worst moving experience I've ever experience in my life and I have moved across different cities in Ontario and to another country and back to Canada. This move was from Quebec to Ontario. My things were damaged with no valid explanation, the movers were incredibly unprofessional and the correspondent for my follow up claim to damages has gaslighted my experience. I had to follow up on my claim as they did not contact me after the 8-10 week window they give for processing claims. DO NOT use this company for your move, everything that can go wrong will go wrong and they will offer you $40 to settle their incompetence and mistakes. Book elsewhere so you don't have to deal with the stress of the move months afterwards. I don't even do reviews on Google and this is my first one, this is how bad the experience was and everyone should be warned.

I was moving with Alliance Van lines September 2020. My furniture was damaged and soiled. It takes 10 months and it is still not settle. The day of pick up their movers even didn't bring any blanket to wrap up my furniture and used two cheap thin plastic bags to bag up my love seat and lazy boy chair and charged me $80. My mattress and box spring were wrapped up with my own original plastic bags. Now the claim manager only offer me $40 for the damage of the love seat but not the lazy boy chair. And she offer me two plastic bags with $40 refund only which i paid and still charged me two other plastic bags which were my own.
I would not recommend anybody and i would not hire them again.

I’m not sure why this company gets so many negative reviews, I just used them to move from Toronto to Vancouver, and it was an excellent experience.
Nelly, the sales rep was a delight to work with. She was extremely helpful and always responded to my many questions in a timely manner.
When my furniture was picked up in Toronto, the movers were professional and took great care in packing everything.
My things arrived and in Vancouver in a timely fashion and communication was good throughout the entire process.
My only complaint would be with the guys who delivered my furniture in Vancouver. They came across as a bit careless, and if I hadn’t laid down old bed sheets on the condo floor, they would have tracked in a lot of dirt and grime.
Other than that, I am a very satisfied customer. Their rates are reasonable as well
One thing I’d like to recommend as well would be that they come up with a system in order to track the delivery.
I would use Alliance again in in the future.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY PERIOD.if you have a phone call with them, immediately send them an email with everything you said to the tee. Leave a paper trail always.

We did a long distance move with this company, we agreed to have them hold our items on the other side while we traveled cross province later that week.

Month goes by when the move happens, they confirm the stuff is enroute. They back out of their arrangement with holding our items on the other side and threaten to leave our items on the side of the road because it's not their problem we never asked them to hold our items for us.

All in all, we were extorted 1,500$ from this company. The manager N. Is heartless. Can't take accountability for their employees and refused to accept responsibility.

Alliance lost many of my items during my move. I understand the this can happen, but considering that I received another customer's items in my move and sent more than five emails over five months regarding them, I have no confidence that they do any work to return lost items. Sheila, whoever you are, wherever you are, I have your dishes from your August 2022 move and will keep them for another month.

Gave a deposit for a move that needed to be delayed due to Covid restrictions. This company refused to work with me when I went to book another move to use up that deposit saying too much time has passed. They are very short sighted and extreme difficult to work with. Waste of time and money. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Terrible experience, if your smart you will find another mover. We trusted this company based on recent reviews. We paid a deposit and then the balance before the company unloaded. They original cost wasn't close to the final invoice. After unloading we found that not only was every piece of furniture damaged but they lost a number of boxes containing items we cant replace. The company acknowledged that they lost our possessions and offered $40 for compensation. The offer was insulting given the value of the items loss, Do yourself a big favor and find someone else.

The prices were very reasonable, they handled all the paperwork, and they were able to work around my crazy schedule. In short, this is the best moving company in Canada!

Never use these movers. They send you a quote that is no where close to what they will charge you. Your invoice will be 2-3 times more than what their initial quote. They have an arbitrary metric called space/weight/labour where they slap random costs to your items that make no sense. They only accept certain types of boxes which they don't tell you about and then will charge you to repack them in their standard size boxes. And all these extra fees and stupidity are after they get a non-refundable $500 deposit based on a quote that was no where near the actual price. These people are absolutely horrible to deal with and don't deserve to be in business.
