Allstate Insurance: St. Catharines Agency

Horrible! Hard time to get actual person on phone to answer questions. Agent who first signed me always returns messages, but the rest of company does not! Just a number to them. Looking elsewhere for my car insurance.

Very bad service, if you have to get new policy they answer right way, for cancellation they put you on hold

Jan 1 2023, don’t buy Allstate Insurance. No customer service whatsoever. I paid more money for the policy thinking If I ever need them for service, they would be there. I have been waiting for them to process a claim since Oct 13 2022.
I have been transferred to 3 advisors and I call tried calling them with no avail. One time they said they will have an advisor call me back the next day. No one called! Today I called wasted over 2 hours on the phone waiting to speak to an advisor. This company is joke!

I have been a client since 2015. I have literally been trying to get in touch with the st.catharines office since Oct 2021. I purchased a new vehicle and couldn't find any agent in the Niagara region (both st.catharinea and NF offices) who would pick up their phone or return an email. I ended up finding an agent in Toronto to write the policy. I even emailed their corporate office to complain and no one ever got back to me. Recently I physically went in to the fourth ave.office to speak with the manager to let him know why we would moving our policy at renewal time. He was unavailable. I left my contact info. It is 1 month later and I have not heard from him, not sure why I'm even surprised. This is not the agency for you if you need customer service, heaven forbid I would ever have to submit a claim.who would I call? Time to start insurance shopping.
