Allstate Insurance: Toronto Danforth Agency (Appointment Only)

Needed a quick quote to possibly add a new vehicle to an existing auto policy. Tried my local office's number, but was transferred to Samira at the Toronto Danforth office, because Sarnia were too busy. Samira took all the specifics, and explained the coverages in detail, while adding this quote for reference to my policy, for my later decision on whether to add it or not. I explained that I might need it asap, and she said "just call back if/when you're ready to go, and whoever answers can immediately add the car to your policy from this quote that's now on your policy file, if you choose to go with Allstate". I must say she was extremely professional, knowledgable, and well spoken. Answered all my questions. Kudos to Samira at Allstate Danforth! Absolutely would recommend her for your insurance needs.

My auto insurance was about to expire and I wanted to look for other options and find the best premium there was to offer. When I first became a customer here almost 3 years ago it was great. My agent (Christopher Alcober) would respond to me in a timely manner and it was not difficult to get ahold of them.

Recently however I cannot say the same. For the past year I have tried multiple emails, multiple phone calls, reaching out on social media sites and still was ignored.

It turns out my agent did not correctly enroll me into the DriveWise program and I lost out on my discount for the first time my policy renewed! Thank god someone from the general line was able to help and get me registered and I got the DriveWise promotion applied the second time.

I tried calling my agent again, left him many emails but still no response. It seems as soon as I bundled both my vehicles and my home insurance with them, they stopped caring. Now if Chris is no longer with the company that's a different story but it seems like he still is since the website has him up there.

Recently had an issue with my automatic payments as my card was expiring soon and wasn't activated in time for the payment. When I tried calling and emailing to resolve it.still no response! What good is paying for insurance if your agent does not take your calls, responds to emails or even attempts to get back to you? Thank god I live close to another location, I drove 10 minutes down to the one near Kennedy Commons and was served MUCH BETTER there, will be going on their page to leave the review they deserve as I wrap up my review here.

I had some issues getting house insurance renewed and it was a very frustrating process trying to get through to an agent to assist. Waited over 30 minutes to connect to an agent and when I finally got through and was talking with the agent we got disconnected and she never called back! So I had to call back and wait another 20-30 minutes to connect to another agent! There seemed to be some confusion going on in the background Re the information on my policy, but once Lida stepped in things were handled efficiently, professionally and my insurance coverage was renewed with no issue. Lida got the job done and I couldn’t be more grateful for her assistance and pleasant attitude. She saved the day for me in my books! It’s because of her I gave a 4star rating. My advice if you are already with Allstate, change agents if you are not getting the service and results you need. I am glad Lida was looking after my insurance needs!

I like Allstate Insurance because the service is professional when I had an accident. The agents are nice and helpful. I contacted with Joyeeta Paul for discussing the policy when it's renewed. I got help from her and I appreciate very much. I have been with Allstate Insurance for more that 20 years.

My Allstate Rep Joyeeta calls me to personally inform me she has been promoted and will no longer be working on my file. I was sadden as Joyeeta worked with me last year during some major life changes. She was very knowledgeable, patient, dependable and provide amazing customer care to me.
I am so happy for her and her promotion her quality of her work paid off.
I will miss doing business with her but wish her all the best.

The wait time on hold averages 30 minutes or more without a pick up and a call back never comes when they say it will. 3 call attempts in a 2 week span and I have also sent several emails without a reply. Terrible service. Zero stars!

I have been an Allstate customer for a few years now. I must say Daniel Lunansky has been extremely helpful in helping me get the right auto insurance coverage. Daniel is very kind, knowledgeable, professional and he always took the time to answer all my questions/concerns, educate me with purchasing the right insurance coverage to suit my needs.
Whenever I reach out to him to request to make changes to my policy or need a better understanding regarding my coverage Daniel has contact me promptly by email or by phone call.

When I first got a quote from Allstate I had called the 1-800 number and received great friendly service. I followed up with the quote that was emailed to me with the recommended Danforth Location (Based on area).
When I got through to someone see what my options were i spoke to a rep named Ben.
Right from the beginning of the conversation I felt like I was rushed and spoken to in a manner that conveyed he didn't want my business and didn't want to talk to me. Maybe in person it is better, but I wont be following up, recommending, or doing business with this location for any of my future insurance practices.
