I switched insurance companies 3mnths ago but was still being charged by Allstate even though I cancelled before the renewal date. They claimed to have layed off the persons that I had spoken too. Since september 2023 i keep getting the run around every time i call. I've spoken to 4-5 different people and sent in all the paperwork but still I have not received my money and all of the agents that I have spoken to via email/phone are not reaponding. They are a bunch of liars and theives.worst customer service ever. I am going to file a complaint with the Better businesa bureau and I will be contacting my lawyer to investigate further!

Words can not describe nor express my disappointment with Allstate. I have been a loyal customer for 3 years. My vehicle was involved in an accident in November, I reported the matter to them. I was told an adjuster by the name of Djameel Koomar would contact me after a month or more of calling all I ever received was an email nothing else. 5 days after taking my vehicle to the garage I received an email from Alana Sobun stating that my vehicle was a total loss and I should accept the settlement. I have called emailed and left several messages today is December 19,2023 no response. Every time I call Allstate I am being given the run around. I am so frustrated I am even thinking of taking my case to CP24 and expose their poor customer service and how they treat paying customers.

I recently insured my car with this insurance company through an intermediary and they forced me to download the drivevize program, which I did right away and thought that was all, but they tortured me through that program so that I cursed them a thousand times.so I did not turn it on.then I didn’t go there.and in general I don’t understand how to turn on that program because it doesn’t work automatically and as a result they sent me a fine due to an increase in the insurance premium because they didn’t like that I was an elderly person who didn’t know how to use their program. They work there some people who will create all kinds of obstacles for you so that you cannot fulfill them and for that you will be fined. Heartless people.

Pretty disappointed with their customer service and disregard for the OAP stat conditions. I switched credit cards and forgot to update my payment information (which is obviously my fault), but AllState cancelled my policy with zero notification of non-payment. No letter in the mail, no electronic notification. Not until an agent called me on the phone, also asking zero verification questions, telling me that my policy has not been in force for over a month…

As someone who has worked in auto claims for another company in the past, this is extremely poor service and breaches responsibilities of the insurer on many counts. Definitely switching my home & auto. After being an insured for 13 years, with no missed payments, and ZERO claims, this is just terrible administration.

Horrible communication. Premiums go up as deductible disappears! Good luck with claims. It's a circle jerk with the Allstate team. They use a third party claims company. Five years with them and when you need them you need to fight and fend for yourself. Keep all communication via email to CYA.

One of the worst customer service ever, the terrible customer service didn't know any word but sorry talk to your agent (who's not responding) which costed me 1350$!

The receptionist is great and helpful. She made thing that might be complicate turn into the simple easy thing and we did follow her advice.

Misleading marketing info yet again! The marketing material describing the new Allstate enhanced water damage endorsement states: coverage of " expenses incurred by you for the installation of a certified back flow valve". When asked for details I found the coverage far more limiting than described. In fact, you are only eligible after you have made a claim for water damage AND coverage is limited to only $1,000. Certainly, the benefit is far more limiting than you are lead to believe. This is after they increased my premium by 30% AND reduced water damage coverage from over a $1 million to only $50,000! These people cannot be trusted! Deplorable!

This is a disgraceful insurance company that doesn't own up to it's own mistakes even to customers with years of service. They had an error in their processing one month which caused a payment not to go through with my credit card because of their own screw up. When they didn't even apologize and I realized they didn't even know what was happening with their error, I told them I'm quit. They withdrew an additional monthly premium after anyway a few weeks after I had already quit. Refused to refund it just like the other person below me experienced. Unbelievably unprofessional business.
