I've been with Allstate for over 20 years and I'm disappointed with how high the prices keep going up. I have had zero tickets and claims and I pay yearly in full. It went up immensely and I will be shopping around and leaving Allstate if this happens again next year.

Recently secured a home and auto policy with Chad Stratford from the Tecumseh location, chad was informative, not pushy, and got us the best deal on the market. Couldn’t have asked for more, thanks again chad!

The absolute worst customer service was given to me when buying a new car and having to switch insurance over.

On hold for over an hour. Finally when I got through to someone… he said it would be switched over and he would send an email. Didn’t do both of the cars. Had to spend over 40 min on hold again to have it done properly.

I just need to find the time to switch companies

After 15 years with the company, they dropped my car insurance because of a couple of tickets and a claim that was clearly not my fault.
Having existing homeowners insurance a formal written cancellation with reference number on all policies was forwarded as requested by Allstate, including the two homeowners policies. To date they continued to illegally take money out of my account for 18 months totaling around $3000 in withdrawals (and one house which has been sold) after a formed filed and corresponded cancellation in March of 2022 and a request of inquiry in January 2023. This is the very definition of corporate arrogance and borderline theft.
This is the most sketchy insurance company I’ve ever dealt with, and absolutely less than zero loyalty to long-term existing clients. My opinion and assessment is that I was dealing with gross negligence and/or an interest scam. Anyone seeking insurance I advise you to goto billy bobs backyard insurance company over this giant corporate nightmare.
If an individual takes money out of an account for 18 months, after written cancellation, they would go to jail. In this case because the government and insurance are brothers and even in the face of a refund they got to earn interest on my money.
With such an ignorant attitude I wish them all the success of Blockbuster Video!

Just changed insurance companies and was pleasantly surprised by the different pricing etc.
Excellent service and very knowledgeable.
Made suggestions to make payments much easier.
Dealt with Krissy Baxter who made the transition very easy and not complicated.

I have recently got auto and renters insurance from Allstate on Walker Rd. Patrick Marshall was the agent who helped me with selecting the best coverage. He is patient, knowledgeable and very detail oriented. I would definitely recommend this place for your insurance needs.

Company motto is "Your in good hands with Allstate" Not Allstate in Canada. I have been a loyal Allstate customer for 32 years and they have increased my car insurance on my June renewal by 27% for no apparent reason other than insurance has gone up! Every year you expect a little increase anywhere from $5-$10/month, but over $30/month increase! I was astonished to say the least! I have been a licensed driver for almost 41 years, with a clean driving record and drive a 2015 car. I can just imagine what my house insurance renewal will be when I receive that. When I called the Walker Road branch in search of a reasonable explanation as to why my car insurance had such a large price increase I got told by one of the agents at the Walker Road branch amongst other things, that insurance companies are not profitable. I had to laugh to myself! I don't think Allstate would be in business if they are not profitable. Even when I called the Allstate call centre they could not provide me with a reasonable explanation as to why the large increase in my auto insurance. I Would NOT recommend Allstate to anyone. I have received several quotes from other companies for the exact same coverage or better and they are quite a bit lower then what I am currently paying with Allstate. So much for being a loyal customer!

Have been with this company for at least 7 years and no matter what our rates kept going up.and we have never made a claim and we have to tickets.

Have our home insurance with Allstate for over a year now and just added auto insurance at the end of last year. Good experience so far. The agent Lana is very professional and quick response. Solves problem in timely manner. Happy with them for now.

Increased my rates. Didn't ask me if I wanted to renew drivewise the app which gives a discount Which has to be done upon renewal. I did not speak to anyone about a renewal but they sure didn't hesitate to up my rates. Just found out they offer a discount to my workplace and guess what it's only eligible upon renewal.

(Would sure be great to get a phone call upon renewal, so the offers and discounts could actually be used.)

Do not go with Allstate. If you look at the reviews you'll see why. From cancelation nightmares, poor timing from follow ups and crafty wording around rates you can understand why. From my recent experience it really shows the lack of care they have for their clients. Remember your paying for the service and to mess up on a simple thing like a follow up really says alot.

No body in the office when you need them, waiting hours on the phone and nobody response. For new quote they pick up the phone in couple minutes and they will not service you as an existing customer. The hours online are not correct. They show they are open and they are not. I am not satisfied of service after covid.

I canceled my policy with allstate. I did everything they told me to do via email. I did this on December 6th and still haven't received any response. So much for 72 hours. They also took my auto and home insurance the past 2 months. When I contact them they give me the run a around. They stole my money and now won't response. This company should be charged. They are trying to get my new insurance company information and I refuse to give it to them. I'm contacting the ombudsman on this matter as well this is ridiculous customer service and there stealing peoples money. Be aware people allstate is not doing there part when u send a signed cancelation. Then there stealing your money. I have a paper trail to cover me. Hopefully I will get my money it's going on 7 weeks
