Allstate Insurance: Whitby-Brooklin Agency (Phone Only)

I tried calling them and no answer. I called Allstate insurance over all, and it took 3 days to finally get a hold of someone. Absolutely crazy. Will never suggest Allstate in general

Our advisor / contact was super unresponsive to our questions, outreach particularly in critical times and really screwed us. Would not work with this location ever again.

Quality and service as this location has gone downhill over the last year. Tried numerous times to get hold of customer service to no avail after receiving my recent updated policy details. Accidentally pressed sales and got someone right away who was not helpful and quite rude. Tried calling back a couple of days later and ended up getting someone from head office who was extremely helpful with all of my questions.

I had to find a new house insurer in a hurry and I was out of the country. Salima of the Whitby-Brooklin Agency was a great help in getting this done. She answered all of my questions and brought up information that I would not of thought asking. I am very satisfied and I do recommend. Joe

I don’t know how this location has 4.6 rating. This is the worst place to get insurance. Can never get thru their number. They just keep giving you different numbers to call. Feel like writing a review for them is waste of time.

Was unable to speak to someone from my local agency about my policy, always directed to customer service and didn’t get the proper service at all. Today finally I was able to reach Cynthia Crockett. She provided me with amazing customer service. Very kind, polite, listened to all my needs and helped me out as much as possible. I have been a long-time All-State customer. Called and by chance was connected to Waheed. I purchased a new car and needed to update my policy. He expressed genuine excitement for my new purchase; and went so far as explaining all of the safety features and how they would mean discounts on my policy. HE COULD HAVE SOLD ME THE CAR. We got to talking as we sorted through my updated policy and he explained why my husbands car was costing us x amount. Through thoughful discovery, he realized that my husband had not commuted for 2 years (Pat Leave and Covid) and that he was elligble for a reduced rate. WOW. Waheed saved my family a substantial amount of money. In addition, he laughed at all of my jokes. As a stand-up comedian.this is worth it's weight in gold. Give this man a gift card from The Keg. He deserves it!

I was referred to Allstate Whitby agency by my friend because he was very pleased and happy with the rates and customer service so I thought will give them a try and called them for a quote.
My call was answered promptly and the lady agent was pleasant and polite. Got the quote in no time so my experience was more than just great. Very professional and excellent customer service.

I had been living in Whitby for almost 11 years, and had used the Whitby-Brooklin Agency of Allstate Insurance for my automotive and home insurance coverage. During that time, they stood by me when I needed them most for two automobile claims and an incident at my house. The claims adjusters demonstrated the same high level of commitment to customer service that I had become accustomed to from the individuals within the Whitby-Brooklin office. Last year, I sold my home and moved back to my hometown of Sarnia, Ontario. I was looking around locally, but was disappointed with the premium quotes and customer service provided by the local insurers. It was then I contacted my old Agency in Whitby-Brooklin to see if there was any possible way I could continue dealing with them. This company sent me a letter in the mail with 3 days notice that my house insurance was being cut off after being insured for 9 months with no claims or issues. I found a cheaper rate else where but being given 3 days notice over the weekend is not acceptable. The term "your in good hands" is not lining up. Will never use them again.
