Allure Nail Bar - Appointments only

I’ve been coming to Allure for the past five years and honestly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my nails! The quality for the price is phenomenal, not to mention that ALL of the nail techs are incredibly talented. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing appointment or a laugh, Allure is inclusive for all. Treat yourself and go see the lovely ladies at Allure, you won’t regret it!

I love this place. Girls are always so kind. Salon is always clean and sterile. All girls do an amazing job, but Jean is my favorite. She is so sweet, and an amazing nail technician.
I recommend this place, because once you come, you will always come back here to get your nails done.

This place is nothing more than a polish changing salon. I was charged $100 for a REGULAR manicure and REGULAR pedicure. They have no idea how to approach slightly ingrown toenails so they avoid it altogether. Any professional aesthetician (which they claim they employ) would be able to clean the sides of the toenails without causing any damage. The manicure was even worse. Hands did not even get soaked in water for the cuticle cutting, no cream or oil to moisturize the nail bed was used and when the top coat was applied, I wasn’t even offered a hand dryer. The only thing they were very attentive to was me paying my bill before my nails were painted. Against my better judgement I left a 15% tip which was undeserved only to have my aesthetician disappear into the back room without even a concern if I was satisfied with the job. Do not recommend and will never go back. PS. I have never written a negative review before, it was just that bad for a place that has such good reviews.

Had my nails done for my wedding here with some friends and the ladies were so fun and professional. Would definitely come back in the future!

Love love love this place! It's very clean, well organized and well staffed. All of the staff is very well versed in bio gel nails and nail art. Highly recommend to anyone!

It’s okay, I went I believe a total of two times. The first set were cute but the shape and thickness of the gel was off when asked if it could be fixed I was told no... The second time I got them filled, nearly all the nails were lifted around the edges. I wasn’t able to go back immediately as I was on vacation but when I did come back to show them they observed my nails and let me know it was my fault for them lifting and I was charged to get them removed. If you pay extra for a senior nail artist you might get better results.

Broken equipment, expensive price for broken and dirty old equipment.my pedicure foot part keep moving and broke off.nail polish was old.my girl was good and pleasant but everything need to be update for the money they charge.

I always enjoy having my nails done at Allure nail bar and will not go to any other nail salons. My daughter treated me to a mani and pedi for Mother’s Day in 2019 and I’ve been hooked since. The place is clean and everyone is so nice and friendly.

Katt did an amazing job adding some holiday nail art! This is such a fun nail salon - I enjoy myself while I'm there and I also enjoy the great look of my nails.

This is the first time in forever I absolutely love love my nails! Katt was fantastic! So friendly and welcoming. I asked a ton of questions and Katt was more than happy to answer. I got an education in nails while she worked. I would absolutely recommend the entire salon to everyone. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

This is the ONLY nail salon that I will ever give my business to. They are professional, amazing at all manicures and pedicures (Shellac, Bio etc) uphold cleanliness, and are the kindest of people.

Their appointment system is excellent, and they always post time slots on their Instagram (which is great for someone who’s schedule moves around weekly).

I look forward to my appointments to relax, watch Netflix, chat with the wonderful humans who work at this salon and get my nails done.

Also, I saw a couple of reviews that said this salon was bad because they had a dog running around. You can totally disregard them. Anyone who will complain about a dog being around while they are trying to get their nails done is someone who I don’t want to sit beside anyways…

I went to allure a few times now, I choose them because online everywhere it say they are "top rated salon in mississauga" but after every experience I have and looking at all the bad reviews 2 stars and 1 star I dont believe some of these good reviews are real. I thought a lot about it this week and after my experience last weekend I will not return.

When I showed up to my appointment there was a DOG in the salon! Who when they go to a salon is expecting to see a dog? Its does not look good, it looks unsafe and unsanitary and of course you can not have dogs or animals in a salon! I am not only allergic but very scared of dogs. They just laugh at me and say she nice, I dont care! Nice to you not your customers. I did not say anything else and waited for it to be over.

This is not only reason why I dont come here no more but it was the last thing that made me say I cant go here. The prices are very high for the work they do and the salon your in. What I mean by that is everything looks so old dirty and broken. My pedicure chair foot part was broken! My leg cramped from not being stable, and the girl just laugh and say it been like that for while. Why then fix it? You charge a lot of money for broken equipment. I also see how dirty salon is hair everywhere on floor all time, equipment looks old and dirty. For prices you charge for service you should use better stuff. As for quality of work its ok just ok. I can get ok for much less money, less time and NO dogs!

I will not return and not reccomend.

After having followed them on Instagram for a while, decided to book and appointment. They were super busy and I could only get one when I booked almost a month in advance.
I got there a few mins early, checked in and picked my colour.
My technician was Kris. She was nice and polite. They salon is very clean and cute. I had my pedicure done first. Kris was thorough. The pedicure took about 25 mins and we moved on to a manicure. My nails were filed off perfectly and had 2-2 coats which was great.
Overall very happy with the outcome. I do wish the booking was a little easier. And they also make first time clients do a 50% deposit. They do not accept credit, only cash or debit.

I finally have a consistent nail salon! The girls are phenomenal and Sawa is my go to. This nail bar is friendly, open, and SO hygenic. I dont ever worry about contracting any bacteria like i have from other unsanitary salons in the past. Allure maintains a high standard and they practice it every single day theyre open. Will keep coming back for more! If youre on a strict budget id reccommend emailing them for accurate pricing. The pricing on their website for some services is incorrect, just so you have a good experience once you get there and youre aware of the cost.

I have been a client of Allure for almost a year. I will be very transparent in describing my experience with them over this period.

Initially when I inquired about getting an appointment with them, it was quite difficult. They only booked appointments for their "regular clients". I continued to follow their Instagram page and came across a post that invited new clients to book, so I did.

The majority of the Allure staff are quite talented. They pay attention to detail and I left with a pristine manicure and pedicure most times I visited.

As a professional, who works in the public light.it became quite bothersome to re-book appointments. Their current process requires you to book well in advance - 1-2 months out. I was able to book with them with success most times, but it took a considerable amount of messaging back and forth to get the desired appointments.

Where this became particularly problematic, is when one of their nail technicians was unexpectedly hospitalized. At that time, they posted on the IG page that they would need to cancel some pre-booked appointments. Seeing as though this was something they had little control over, I expressed my understanding and wished their colleague a speedy recovery.

Fast forward a couple of weeks. I contacted them regularly to re-book the cancelled appointments and after some time, I was able to book until August 20th. However, my first appointment with them since the bulk of cancelled appointments was not until July 3rd.

I was contacted by Allure via IG direct message on July 2 with a request to cancel my pre-booked Aug 2 appointment, to Aug 1st because one of their staff is "taking a day off". I responded and said yes.

Given the extended time in-between appointments with Allure, my nails were in horrible shape.and to be honest, I didn't want to go to another salon. However, once I returned to work after the long weekend, my nails needed to be attended to. Allure only had an opening on July 3rd for a manicure only - I needed both a manicure and pedicure. For this reason, I reached out to another highly rated salon and was able to schedule an appointment to see them the evening of July 2nd for a shellac mani/ pedi.

After attending the appointment with the other salon, I messaged Allure via their IG page with a request to cancel the appointment on July 3rd at 4: 45 pm. I was met with a retort of their policy on cancellations, and that I would need to pay 20.00 for cancelling the appointment. I asked the staff member if I would still be required to pay the cancellation fee, if they are able to fill the spot (especially given the demand for service). The employee responded with what seemed to be a rude tone by stating "that is not the point", that it takes considerable effort to re-book cancelled appointments.

The employee and I continued the conversation which ended with them essentially cancelling all of my pre-booked appointments, even though I had stated on 2 occasions that I would pay the 20.00 cancellation fee (please note the fee is not posted on their website or their IG page).

My interaction with this staff was unpleasant, especially given the fact that I have been a customer with them for nearly a year, complimented them on their work and tipped well.

Its of my opinion that they are over their head with the demand from their clients and they do not have the capacity. One should not have to work that hard to book an appointment. I understand that this is a testament to their quality of work, however, they have this elitist attitude that is not customer service focused.

They cancelled my existing appointments because they felt "disrespected" that I asked questions about their cancellation policy and because I told them that it appears that they want their clients to be flexible, but are not willing to do the same for their clients - who is paying for the service?

It baffles me how Allure handled this situation - very unprofessional.

Allure does quality work, but is not the place for you if you need standing appointments.

The place is super clean and cute. There are so many colours to choose from. This was my second time getting my nails done ever but I’m super glad I chose to go to Allure! I wanted to get a mani/ pedi for prom, and I saw many good reviews for Allure! Victoria was my nail tech and she was so nice and friendly (all the staff there were). There’s also a TV and they were playing Netflix (the office - which is how you know they’re amazing lol).

She took out new tools for me personally and I got to take them home (a nail file and buffer) and you see them cleaning the tools. Victoria would always ask if I was okay with the colour and she’d also just check in with me.

Booking was super easy. I did it on the website and they got back to me pretty quickly. I booked originally by myself, then asked to book again with a friend but they had to cancel and I then changed my classic mani to gel nails. I think I emailed them so many times but they were very patient and understanding, and I’m super grateful that I was able to move things around and that they were very nice throughout the whole process of changes.

I would definitely recommend this place and come again! Thank you Victoria and Allure Nail Bar!

I found this place on Instagram and loved their work. Giving them 4 stars (3 would be unfair but 4 is being generous given my experience) because they're really nice, clean, and dog friendly! Unfortunately, my mani and pedi just didn't live up to the hype or price. Both services were completed in just over an hour, and it certainly felt rushed. My mani was "meh". Cuticles weren't pushed back enough and I had to end up cutting a bunch of little pieces that were sticking up when I got home. The polish had streaks and bubbles, luckily they repainted them and they looked much better. The pedi was better, in terms of cuticle work and polish, but the bottoms of my feet were still rough (I never get the razor, just a good filing). Had to go over the rough spots with my own foot file at home, which was annoying. Based on the other reviews, it may just have been an off day for the girl who was doing my services. I won't be returning but still think this place is worth checking out, maybe you'll have better luck!

I started coming here around this time last year. After searching and scouring the internet for a decent nail place with the abilities to do what I wanted to be done, Allure is just that place. The girls are amazing, and I love coming here every few weeks for fills. Professional, clean, and an all around amazing time! You can give them just about any photo for inspo and they'll be able to put their own twist on it. Everyone is so sweet, and I genuinely love the company and conversations. I see Jean every time and she does NOT disappoint. If you're thinking about making an appointment with any of these lovely ladies, do it! Best choice you'll ever make.:)

I went here for the first time today and they did not disappoint! Allure lives up to its name. Extremely professional, highly trained staff that know how to do nails! My technician was fantastic and super gentle. Previously, other salons would literally make my nail beds bleed from trying to take off my cuticles. I barely even noticed her take mine off at allure.

The appointment booking system is great too, not sure why a lot of folks are annoyed with it? I literally went online at midnight last night and noticed they take appointments only. You have to email them using the form online and ask for a specific appointment day and time. I knew it was last minute and had no expectations when I emailed at midnight for an appointment the next afternoon. I got an email in the morning telling me they had an opening at 4pm and I got it. They also post openings on their instagram but again, just email them using the form online - it's not that hard people!

Great experience all round, cannot wait to be back!

I really appreciate that they take their client's time seriously. I've been to countless nail salons that have you waiting so long to finish up with their client and you feel bad because they're rushing their services plus yours.

I found this place because i was looking for someplace that sterilized their tools, and I was surprised to find out that their nail techs are super talented and do a great job. They pay attention to detail and do exactly what youve asked for. And the price is very fair, nothing crazy like certain "high end places" that dont even do a good job.

I found Allure through Instagram and did not know what to expect service wise. However, from their profile, I could tell that they were very skilled with nails. After my first visit, my assumptions were confirmed! Also, it was such a great experience! I got my nails done by the lovely Victoria and she was thorough, professional, kind, and skilled as heck! To add, she finished my nails way quicker than I expected. Plus they have Netflix, which makes your whole experience even better! Furthermore, the environment is fun and chill. You don't feel like you're just some random customer. Lastly, Allure is honestly amazing, probably what the 'a' in the name stands for! I for sure plan on returning!

Love getting my nails done here. In their conversations with their customers and with the work they do, they always try to give the customer the best quality and advice regarding nail care and health, it's not about trying to up sell. It is appointments only so book ahead!

Definitely my all time favourite nail salon. Not only are the ladies amazing at what they do (they never disappoint), but they're all so friendly and inviting as well! Have been there many times now and will continue to go back.

I got my nails done here once and I absolutely loved the place, the environment and the staff was so lovely. They had a great selection of services and colours and the place was beautiful and tidy. My only issue with Allure is how unbelievably difficult and inconvenient it is to try to make an appointment. If you call, it is rare someone will answer and then the automated recording will tell you not to leave a message because they are trying to convert to a completely online forum. Which is great - if their website allowed for a decent booking system. On the website you can go through a calendar and choose a date and time, the problem is, it doesn't tell you what appointments are already taken and what's available. And then if you try to just email them to book an appointment they don't respond in a timely manner. All in all, I think Allure could one of the top nail salons in the west end of the GTA (I have been to a lot), and I can say that confidently based on the amazing experience I had when I went there and how insanely talented the staff is. But Allure really needs to fix the efficiency with which it books appointments. I suggest taking a look at the Ten Spot's online booking system, they have the absolute best online booking system.
Unfortunately as much as I'd love to go back to Allure, I dont have time to deal with the messy appointment booking.

My very first time there and it was absolutely amazing! The ladies that work there are friendly and the environment is clean and very comfortable.
I must add that the nail techs do take pride in their work and just the way you the customer wants it! I would definitely recommend Allure to any and everyone. I am so please and in aw with my nails and my first time experience. Great job!

My husband bought me a gift certificate there to get my nails done! It was great! The staff is super nice and they did a great job with the nails! I’m very happy:) will be back for sure!

My boyfriend introduced me to Allure Nail Bar because it was located right beside his barber. I thought I should try it out for the first time and since then I've been going back every once in a while! The staff there is amazing and they all work so well together like a family. They're super patient and pay attention to the small details of your nails, they're all really nice and amazing to talk to. I highly recommend them, I also suggest to look at their instagram page to see the amazing nail art they do on their clients.

UPDATE: My friend went to her new confirmed appointment and was extremely happy with her nails. If she's happy, then I'm happy.

Edited Original: I booked an appointment for my friend (who is getting married in 2 days) via email as Allure requests on their website and Instagram. I did this 2 weeks in advance When my friend showed up for her appointment, she was denied service because whoever I emailed did not actually book the appointment in their system. If they are short staffed, this shouldn't be faulted on the customers. It's just bad business. They offered an early morning apppintment for the next day which my friend took.

It’s hard to find a nail salon that is clean, know what they are doing and are more concerned about the health and integrity of your nails than about making a quick dollar but this place does it all. The girls that run this place are a class act. They are super professional and take their time with each client to make sure they are fully satisfied with their service. The girls are super friendly, but also don’t push being chatty if you need some “relax” time. They have a wide selection of both regular and gel polishes from reputable companies. The only slightly negative I have is that sometimes the floor is covered in pet hair which is pretty unsightly on white tile as well it causes allergies for some people. Despite this, I could not recommend this place more highly to anyone.

FYI Be sure to book well ahead of time and to book the exact services you are wanting to get (ie.any nail art) as this place runs on a tight schedule

After tells my my cousin that I was in desperate need of a pedi, she stumbled across this place during our search and I couldn’t be happier!

First off, the girls there are just so fun to be around; not a miserable attitude in the house which makes an experience a whole heap ton better when stuck together for about an hour or more. They actually engaged both myself, my cousin and other clients in conversation as opposed to just keeping silent and getting the job done.

Any other place I’ve been for a pedi has always resulted in some sort of pain or discomfort, but my tech was just the best. Yes, she let me know of some sensitivity in my toes but I felt no pain, which is just soooo nice after being so afraid of it happening.

The overall aesthetic of the place was really cute. It’s small, quite intimate and cutely decorates without going over the top with all the possible cuteness.

I work in the Beauty industry and it’s so nice to come across people to take the time in their craft, create great relationships with their clients and provide excellent client service.

10/10! Definitely coming back!

I have been to a few different nail salons in
Mississauga and this is by far the best experience I have had. Jean who was my nail technician was very pleasant and did a great job. I like how this salon is by appointment only so the staff doesn’t feel rushed with unexpected clients walking in. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. I am booked to go back again in a few weeks. So glad I found this gem! Thank you Jean!

As a person who visited this salon regularly, came here for more than one service (gel extensions and lash extensions) i would think that they would treat me better and make sure i am satisfied at all times. Allure has the tendency to raise their prices but not raise their standards. Or at least it seems like it to me. After a 2nd occurance of being unsatisfied, i have decided to cut my ties with allure. Don’t get me wrong, the ladies working there are amazing, very kind and welcoming, in fact i have referred them to many people but i have noticed over the months, my service has just been degraded. After a week of having my gel extensions, they started to crack and break off, to the point where i have no nails 2 weeks later. 60$ for a student making minimum wage is quite a bit for something that will last me a week.

Not to mention, the colour i wanted, wasn’t even available for a full paint job which is quite disappointing! It was a streaky paint job looking kinda funky if you take a nice look at it!

Sorry, but i feel like this is something all people should know about, considering they are spending that much for something that potentially will not even be worth it.

My experience was really great. I went for the first time and everyone was super nice and helpful. I have very thin natural nails so my nail tech helped me out and put in extra work to make sure my nails wouldn’t break after the shellac manicure. All of the employees were talkative (in a good way) and communicated throughout the process which is really important!

Unbelievably poorest service and walked out without my nails even being touched.
I arrived at the salon about 10 mins early and informed the closest esthetician to the front who I was and that I was early for my appointment. She told me to hang my jacket up and pointed where I should. 20 minutes after my appointment time (so I’ve waited a total of 30mins), I walk up to the same esthetician and said, I’m sorry to interrupt but my appt was scheduled 20 mins ago, when can I expect to be taken care of? Her response was the other esthetician was running a ‘little’ late. I sit back down and waited another 7 mins and by this time, the experience had been already so unbelievable that I knew I wouldn’t enjoy my appt so I got my jacket and told the esthetician that I was cancelling the appointment and her response again was that they were running a little late? ! I said this was a complete disrespect of my time and extremely disappointing. The only reason why I even gave one star is because the initial response to my inquiry was prompt and accommodating. The follow through to the experience was completely opposite. Ironically they only accept appointments. It is understandable that delays can occur but with no acknowledgement of my presence at all through the entire 40 minutes? ! That is the point of customer service. Owner, please take note. Your estheticians may do good work but a respect for the value of time is ultimately the priority in customer service.

Thank you for your response and I appreciate you taking responsibility for the inconvenience this has caused. I understand things can happen and mishaps can cause a domino effect on everything. However, all I expected was an acknowledgement that things were running behind and when to expect my appointment to begin. Running a little late does not suffice as an answer. First impressions are everything. As I mention on my review, doing a good job on nails is not all a business should be run on. It’s a competitive market as you know.
Again, I appreciate your acknowledgement and I hope your staff learns from this. In business, no matter what happens, you suck it up and put on a smile for the customer and remain professional regardless of any situation.
