I wish I had read the reviews before I made the drive! It didn’t take long to be seen by the nurse and have an ECG.
(Heart trouble).
The lady at the desk, the triage and the ecg nurses were amazing, thank you!
After though, people keep coming and going and no one called me in for hours. I finally asked and was told I’m next. Waited more and more. I was dizzy and unwell to sit. The lovely lady at reception told me to ask the nurse.
She (the nurse in glasses and grey sweater) was UNPLEASANT! Staring me in the eye as I’ve committed a crime to ask!
Not right! Absolutely not right to be that disgusting!
I don’t know many people who’d go to the hospital for fun!
Rude People should be removed from healthcare!

Amazing staff and was treated with dignity and compassion. Very nice people, high regards for these professionals. Thank you so much!

I went to the Almonte hospital due to an elbow issues I had been dealing with for years. I finally walked into the hospital and waited about 12 hours to see a doctor that told me it was tennis elbow and that I didn't need an xray (after I insisted). I was very upset!
I then went to the Perth hospital. I was seen by 4 different technicians, nurses, and the doctor and found out that I had a chip in my elbow and was scheduled to see a specialist. I was out of the hospital in 3 hours!

I spent a few hours in emerg in amongst some pretty unwell folks. It was fuller than one would anticipate for a Saturday morning and things seemed to be moving slowly. Then the nurse in all of her kindness came out to speak to the waiting room to apologize for the delay, that there was a very urgent case that came in. And then she said “I wish I could offer you all tea and biscuits but we have coffee available if you’d like some”
These past almost 3 years have been taxing for all, but for health care providers, it’s been especially hard. Thank you all and thank you to this nurse for your compassion in the midst of your own pressures.
