We took our 2 year old to Al's for his first haircut and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We were expecting a pretty emotional toddler to put everyone through their paces but Rob made him feel right at home. He had hair to the middle of his back and Rob was quick, skillful and we left with a happy little boy and an amazing haircut with a nice little fade to boot.

A good barber shop in the neighborhood. Rob is really good and fun. Super crowded but they also welcome walk-in customers, however appointments are recommended.

The best place in Brampton to get a haircut. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Best part is they open at 8 in the morning for us early risers or people finishing a night shift. Call to make an appointment, they allow walk-ins, but it could be a bit of a wait.

Al’s is staple in the Brampton area and community. All or the staff are great talented guys, super friendly and keep the room chatter going. Rob the owner is a true local business owner. He leads by Supporting the local troops, police, fire and first responders. If one of them walk in the door they are the next to be served. They Run raffles for supporting local community events and charities. I Will always be a customer to this great place.

There are still good people in this crazy stressed-out world! On a very busy Saturday, Rob fit an appointment in for me to come and get the last of my chemo hair stubble shaved smooth on my head. He was very careful and considerate, making sure not to cause any irritation on my scalp. We talked about cancer, and positive mental attitude, and how that can make things much more bearable. After doing a super job, he even did it for me as a courtesy, a great kindness to me. Very much appreciated, thank you Rob!

Went here for the first time right before my wedding. I normally get nervous trusting people to cut my hair. I worry they'll mess it up. These guys did awesome and kept me comfortable the whole time. And hair looked great! Thank you!

Walked in yesterday to get a haircut for me and my son. Showed them pictures but it doesn't matter, it seemed like they do the opposite of what they've been asked to do. Too much chit chatting so haircut is rushed and wait times are ridiculous. The curly barber by the window also said he is not taking no walk-ins for a haircut (why say that when you know I'm a walk-in customer and the guy on the phone said your business is accepting walk-ins?). After the haircut, Sully and the curly barber charged me $65 cash which I was told over the phone it is $30 per cut no tax if I pay cash. These two barbers were so unprofessional and it seemed they're not happy with the $10 tip I handed to Sully for him to share with the curly guy. Spent $75, wasted me and my son's time, and they made me feel my $10 tip wasn't good enough.

You guys chose this profession so you should be happy with or without tip (we are all average people who work hard for our money). Clearly they are there for tips not because they love what they do. Will bring my business somewhere else.

These folks are a lively bunch, never let you be bored during your visit. Also, only folks in town who know what a pompadour is. Got great nicknames for everybody too (like Mr. Burns for me cause of my long chops). Great folks, great service!

Absolutely the only place to get your hair cut. Super professional team and an immediatley welcoming environment. They really make you feel at home and of course the cut is always perfect. Nice clean shop, Covid protocols in place. They took us in as walk-in and filled out the contact tracing forms. Very professional staff and Sully is a very talented barber. I would highly recommend this place.

I love the get my hair cut here with the boys. I bring my 2 kids as well. And the barbers have conversations with the kids about fortnite and soccer. Baseball etc.
It’s very clean and it’s looks like a body shop garage. It’s very cool. You will like it. Price is reasonable. The four barbers are really good. Can’t complain about that.

Brought my son who is not even 2 yet for a hair cut with Josh! He did such an amazing job on my sons fade and design. Best fade I have seen on a toddler by fair. He was so sweet and nice with my son. Bonus note his clippers were quite so it didn’t startle my son and he was able to sit still. I totally recommend this barbershop and Josh! My son looks so good and enjoyed the experience. Well priced and great service all round!

Got a haircut by Dave and I love it. The guy knows how to cut and make you feel like a million bucks. The atmosphere of the shop is top of the line too, funny guys and never a dull moment.

Thank you Sully for the fade and beard trim. Wait time for a walk-in was under 30 mins on a Thursday morning. Shop was clean and COVID-19 protocols were well in place. Friendly staff. Price was average.

So awesome! Took my son today for a fade - he looks so damn handsome now and Sully was awesome with him (Xander wants to come back to see him again soon) and the owner Robert was friendly and accommodating as well.

One of my favorite places to get my haircut from, the wait is a bit long but it is worth it, amazing service and the guys are professional and create a fun atmosphere to be in for a haircut.

Long line but understandable when you have a popular place in the community that has lots of regulars. You can tell the people that work there love what they do and where they work. I consider a good barber like a good butcher, when you find a good one, you stick with it. First time visit and they also did my 14 month old son too and Rob was patient and worked well to do a good job on my son and everyone knows an infant isn't easy to cut hair on and he made sure to do a good job. He didn't consider it done until everything was even and proper. I appreciate that about him and this place. Very welcoming and easy to talk to people there. Prices are on par for industry so you know you aren't getting over charged. I'll go back again and somewhere I would recommend. Thank you Rob for doing the cut on my son, your patience is much appreciated.

I would honestly drive out of my way to get my hair cut from Al’s barber shop. They never rush you out, they take their time to make sure you are 100% happy and you will have a good laugh

My first time here, the main door off the street was closed, so I had to enter from the back of the shop. I sat, waited and got my haircut. Great experience. I walked in there today, came in through the same back entrance and waited for 30min or so. I see 2 customers walk in and within 5 minutes, one of the customers got called up. I did not realize there was a signup sheet, nor did any of the barbers tell me anything about it, so I walked out. Waste of time and they lost a customer.

the best barber i have ever been too. Saturday was my first time going to that shop because i would alway pass it coming home from work and was wondering how it is. Yes it was busy but it was worth the wait! A young man named josh at the front of the shop cut my hair and it was absolutely amazing, my wife told me i am not aloud to go to another barber shop because this young man changed my life from the way i looked walking in, to the way i left! I recommend this shop to everyone. A long wait but so worth it ill be seeing you guys every 2 weeks

Unless ur Bill Gates don't go. $25 just for a haircut. I always pay 17.50, I went this barber shop $25. Someone else can pay for me and I still won't go just because of the price the person paid. Another thing the $25 isn't even worth it. The saddest part is how long the line is.

Love the other barbers but this one barber just talks a lot and doesn’t cut your hair properly my hair is all messed up and I recommend not going to the guy who talks a lot but this other barber named Paul is a professional and I would definitely recommend him

Always get the best haircuts from here i've been coming here for around 4 years. The wait time is very long most of the time, but its always worth it everytime. Whenever I get a haircut anywhere else they always screw it up and i end up saying too myself i should have just waited at Al's. The guys there are super friendly and chill, it is honestly the best barbershop in Brampton.

Great place for a hair cut, Paul is my favorite he really pays attention to details when he cuts your hair, he will catch that one hair behind your ear that Dodge's the Clippers and if you're beard is off center he will fix it up as part of the haircut. It gets really busy sometimes and they don't take reservations its first come first serve put your name on a list and wait. So don't go if your in a rush. Sometimes they will let people know on Instagram if there is No wait.

It's been a couple years since I was here, admittedly, but this was one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I was in Brampton for my best friend's wedding. He's a regular at Al's and had all the wedding party cleaned up by them before the wedding. Everyone was SUPER nice and welcoming. The line was long and it was early, so I could tell the place was well loved. As we left, the offtere the whole wedding party expensive product baskets that had full sized grooming kits for all of us. Shave cream, shampoo, even gel I think. It was a seriously memorable experience. Also, the cut was pristine. They took their time, despite the line, and made sure we all look very fly. Thank you!

I started coming here just under a year ago, after shaving my head for over a decade. Rob and the crew built a legitimate, true, authentic, barber shop experience. The wait times may appear to be long, but would you want a haircut in an empty shop?

Price is very reasonable, and offering many services from cuts, to shaves, to beard trims, they are experts in their field.

Whether you're a guy, a parent bringing in their kid (s), of just every imaginable race, ethnicity, whatever, you are welcome here. Be ready to banter and have a good laugh, because it's more than just the haircut, it's the experience.

Al's Barber Shop is the most stylist and best professional I found in the GTA. As soon as I heard and tried them, I have never stopped going. They do your hair exactly how you want it. They are detailed and take the time they need to do it right. I really recommended.

My "go to" barber shop since 2016, despite it being a good 40 minute drive away. The barbers are friendly and laid back with skill to match work of any high end barber shops that charge top dollars.

10/10 haircut and experience

I went to Als barbershop and got cut by a young apprentice that’s new to the team. The cut wasn’t up to standards and I decided to send the shop owner a private message on the shops Instagram account. The owner Rob took my feedback and showed that he valued me as a customer. He got back to me the same day and handled the entire situation with care, turning a negative experience into a first class example of customer service.

Rob apologized and immediately rectified the situation by offering to take care of my hair whenever I was available. Rob went above and beyond by inviting me to come to the shop the next day when it was closed and gave me the best service I’ve ever had. The haircut was a 10/10, Rob was detailed oriented and showed his passion and commitment to the industry, his business and his craft. I will certainly be returning and recommending Rob and his team to my friends. Behind the incredible fade and cut, what stands out to me is a man that would come on his day off to make sure a customer was happy with what they paid for. That’s extremely rare in todays day and age and I salute Rob for his hard work.

I've been going here for about 2 years. I had great experiences with Rob & Paul cutting my hair. Did not have a good one with Mike. He did a decent job with my beard, but I was not happy with my haircut. At one point it felt like he was just pulling my hair with scissors instead of cutting it.

Best barbershop ever. I used to take my boy to a lot of places and most of the time he looked like I cut his hair with my feet. This place and everyone there is exceptional. I’ve taken my kid on numerous occasions now and I don’t have a single complaint. I love this place and so does my kid, especially when his pockets get stuff with candy:) Thank you guys
