Altima Annex Dental Centre

I had such a great experience here with the staff. I am absolutely terrified of the needles and drills but they made me feel so comfortable. I feel more confident to go to the dentist because of this experience.

The Altima Annex team consists of wonderful, kind and compassionate folks who happens to be excellent at what they do. My experience with this team, especially with Minil, Apple and Dr. Farrahi, has only been positive. I highly recommend them so go and get in touch with them so you can get that healthy smile you deserve!

The staff are very friendly and professional with good communication throughout my experience. Dr. Farrahi and Apple did a great job, and always made sure I feel comfortable. My hygienist, Katie was amazing and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She was very fast and comforting. Not to mention Bahru who always tried to find the best time to accommodate my busy schedule. Overall, exceptional service.

I have been with Altima Dental on and off for a few years due to relocation. I have been to other dentists and Altima Dental is like family to me, they are caring, supportive, understanding to your needs, very warm and welcoming let's not forget clean and professional. I’ve been a client of Mirela for over 5 years. She genuinely cares about your oral hygiene as well as all your teeth & mouth conditioning. She is very professional, organized and efficient. Mirela has great costumer relations and a friendly personality. She has all the right tools and skills to provide you with your oral hygiene. I highly recommend this hygienist to all persons who take pride in a clean mouth.

Dr. Farrahi is the best. He did very well for my gum and his assistant -apple is great too. Thanks for helping me bharu-patient coordinator for giving me an early appointment there.

Tried to pressure me into a decision regarding my retainer and the difference of several hundred dollars because they had another patient coming in. Also were not giving me the full picture with the two treatment options and I had to ask multiple times for explanations behind how they would work and how much they would cost. Then did not listen to me when I explained I had a new benefits plan that they did not have on file - after I clarified this 3 times to them. Got up and walked out. Will not be returning. This was my third appointment at the clinic. Disappointed that I will have to find somewhere else to go, but not worth the nonsense they just put me through. Do not go here. Best part was they sent me an email prompting me to write a review - so here it is Altima!

First time here for a cleaning. Staff was very professional. Appointment started right on time. Hygienist (Mirela) was thorough. Great experience.

I had a teeth extraction here today and I was terrified. Dr. Farrahi did an amazing job. He was very soothing and empathetic. He took care of my teeth but also my emotions. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely come back here next time.

Had a great experience! Bharu the patient co-ordinator was organized and helpful and my dental hygienist Mirela was punctual, friendly and professional. Definitely plan on coming back.

I’m a new patient here, but I immediately felt taken care of and welcomed in the environment. All employees are super informative and offer a lot of help with figuring out insurance, etc. Mirela was is my fav dental hygienist I’ve ever had and even better, our cats have the same name lol. Finally I found a fantastic dentist! Really, all the ladies at the Annex location are amazing, from the dentist, to the hygienist, management and reception. All the staff seem happy to go above and beyond, I'm never letting them go, for real, best place in Toronto

I've always been anxious about dental appointments. Not anymore, Mirela, my favorite hygienist ever, and staff at Altima Annex Dental are great! Highly recommend them.

Going to the dentist always makes me a nervous wreck, but after having experienced this office, that has completely changed! The staff are all pleasant, amazing, and very helpful at making you understand your oral health. Mirela was my hygienest, she was kind, thourough, and an absolute proffesional. Highly recommend this office to anyone in need!

I've been going to this clinic for the past 10+ years. The last time I came here, the front desk manager was rude and dismissive for asking questions about insurance coverage. I've decided I had enough. There's no continuity in Dentists (feels like there is a different dentist every year) and dental hygienists (different every time). There were some great dentists here, but IMO one of the dentist's I've seen in the past 5 years should have referred me to a Periodontist, but no one here had the foresight to do that. Hygienists vary in how they do cleaning. Some are really good while others say ridiculous and rude things in conversation. One was careless with a pick and poked a hole in my shirt sleeve, and another hygienist kept pulling my facial hair out with the edge of his watch (despite asking him to be careful). One Dental assistant yanked out the plastic bite piece (for an x-ray) before I even opened my mouth and it hurt my mouth pretty bad. Lastly I remember when I first started coming here they would tack on services to my cleaning appointment that I didn't even ask for.

Going to the dentist isn’t always fun but when you have an amazing hygienist going can seem like meeting up with a friend. My hygienist Mirela is not only professional, knowledgeable and friendly but she makes the experience a great one. I personally love going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned by one of the best hygienists there.

Friendly staff with great dental care in a comfortable office. They make you feel safe during COVID.

My parents, sister, and I have been going to the Altima Annex Dental Centre for a long time, and our hygienist, Mirela, is especially wonderful. She makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience rather than a nerve-wracking one! Always 1000% satisfied with cleanings, etc. All the staff are really kind, and helpful.

Our hygienist Mirela is so amazingly professional and personable. I feel that she genuinely cares about her clients and does a very complete job. She actually makes a trip the dental office a great experience. I think that the way she makes a connection to her clients really says something about her.

Recently my daughter was seen by Dr. Farrahi for both a checkup and a tooth extraction. He was amazing with her. She was nervous and he put her at complete ease. I was also so impressed that he took the time to sit with her and discuss her X-rays in detail with her. He answered all of her questions including those about how she wants to someday be a dentist.

The receptionists are always very on top of things. They handle everything in a fast and professional way and are always so friendly.

Dental Hygienist Mirela Cehic is fantastic. I am her patient for 2 years and I am happy to know her. First of all, you can't feel any pain, she makes you relax and comfortable. Plus she has a kind personality, we have nice chat. The first time when I went there to clean my teeth, I almost fall asleep, now we have nice conversations. I recommend the people who don't have any dental hygienists, especially those who are sensitive to pain. The last thing, when I met her I say that I don't want to use fluoride, and then she all the time double-check for the materials she uses. She is very respectful. Highly recommend!:)

They were amazing, I was nervous for my dental cleaning but they made me feel so comfortable, it was genuinely a pleasent experience.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! As someone who has always been terrified of going to the dentist, I was apprehensive at first but as soon as I walked in, my fears were put to rest. My favourite thing is that the staff is mostly women, which also put me at ease. Mirela is a dream worker. Not only is she one of the kindest people, she's amazing at her job and has made me excited to floss every night! Dr. P and Simone are a dream team who are very informative and put together an awesome dental plan for me so I can get my oral health back on track. Shahad is also amazing and made the entire experience a breeze! The lovely staff is why I will always come back!

Mirela Cehic is an AMAZING dental hygienist. Very warm, kind, friendly and quite efficient. She makes my dental appointments enjoyable, as I usually dread them. She helps make Altima Dental a very reliable and trustworthy dental office to visit for my dental care.:)

My family and I enjoy our dental visits - the people who work here are knowledgeable, friendly, kind, courteous, and interesting. Normally we aren't that comfortable sitting in a dentist's chair, but here we feel at ease.

Services are cutting edge and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I do, however, have difficulty with the high turnover of staff at this location, myself being on the spectrum and rely on consistency. I’ve seen four dentists and several more hygienists since coming to Altima. Had several billing issues in the past and emails to the manager had gone unanswered that I stopped putting effort into follow up. They try and up sell you on everything even when your insurance is minimal. Only on my recent visit did they review my coverage and used it as an excuse to increase visits to three times a year rather than two. What I do like is their availability to do after hours scheduling for those working and were quick to see you for emergency repairs to orthodontics.

I’ve been with Altima Dental for many years. They are super professional and friendly. They listen to you and take your concerns seriously. Especially during covid, their protection measures are the best in my opinion. I feel very safe to go to my dental appointments.

We had a horrible experience with this place! Very unprofessional staff! Waste of time and waste of money! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Find the staff to be well mannered and efficient, and very welcoming. Feel satisfied and at ease all the time when I leave the clinnic. Keep up the good work.

Finally I found a fantastic dentist! Really, all the ladies at the Bloor location are amazing, from the dentist, dental assistant, hygienist and reception. All the staff seem to be happy to go above and beyond, I'm never letting them go!

I had my first appointment with Dr Jill McTernan. She made me feel comfortable and confident about her profession, even though she looked young to me.
The Hygienist Mirela Cehic was detail-oriented and giving helpful tips for keeping teeth clean. I appreciated her sunshine personality.

Dental staff was knowledgeable, helpful and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the customer services side was rather uncoordinated, pushy and a bit condescending. I was left waiting for several minutes upon arrival while the receptionist searched for forms, and when it came time to settle up and leave, a different receptionist I dealt with was very pushy about having me lock in a follow-up date a few months down the road, despite my clear indication that I would rather not. Many dental practices I have dealt with in the past were always understanding of my situation, doing work that often has me traveling or relocating, which makes it best for me not to book further ahead than I can throw.
I can see this as being a great place for anyone looking for a long-term service, but for students or freenlancers or anyone of a similar life-style, I cannot reccomend.

Dr. Fashi should not be trusted with Invisalign. He is very unexperienced and what he did caused me a severe jaw joint disfunction that is very painful and irreversible. While he did treatment on me he did something on me that an ORTHODONTIST told me should not have been done in MY particular case for MY mouth. He placed a bonded retainer on my uppers when it is very rare and came into contact with my bottom teeth due to my deep bite and caused an imbalance in my bite. I NEVER had any of these awful symptoms before and I am in CONSTANT pain. My life has been taken away from me by this dentist who wanted to make a quick buck with Invisalign and is not well trained. The district manager felt very bad for me and refunded me my money, but she cannot refund the pain and the life quality that has been robbed from me at the age of 26. I just started my career and I can't even work because the pain is so bad. Dr. Farshi stole my life from me. DO NOT GET YOUR INVISALIGN DONE HERE.

My current dentist is booked up for the month so I decided to seek clinic around the Annex. Altima Dental was able to accommodate with my schedule and fit me in within 2 days time. As a healthcare professional, I truly appreciated the efficiency of both the receptionist, dental hygienist and dentist Dr. Farshi. I was in a rush and the clinic was able to complete the appointment on time. Very honest and kind people. Will switch my dentist of 10 years to Altima Dental. Highly recommend to anyone who is new to the Annex area.

I had a great experience with Ms Kate for the 1st time. She is a very kind, welcoming & patient receptionist who listens carefully to the client's request.

I had two experience with Altima one in Toronto and other in Kingston. Both are far from ideal. I don’t recommend this office to my friends or colleagues due to lack of price transparency, lack of considerate booking/choosing procedures.

Great team: They took me on time for an emergency, on the spot. Worked 3.5hours straight to fix the issue, saw me the following day for a follow up. And now all back to normal.

This is truly the best dental centre I have ever went to. All the staff and the dentists are very welcoming and friendly. I went here today for a checkup and a tooth cleaning and it barely hurt. The staff here know what they are doing and I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone. This place also accepts Healthy Smiles Ontario and there is free parking on a backstreet for one hour. I will absolutely go back here next time!

I've been going to Altima Annex for the past 4 years and have had positive experiences with the hygienists and dentists. Also wanted to give a shout out to Akila, one of the front desk staff - she's always been super helpful and lovely and has worked with my insurance provider to double-check my coverage and ensure I was getting reimbursed on time. Thanks to the staff at Altima Annex for helping me take care of my teeth!

I've been going to this dental clinic for a few years now and have always had a good experience. Friendly staff and great location, right across from bathurst station.

Those 5 stars are specifically for Altima's dental hygienist ASHLEY, who is a true superstar. She's kind, funny, and knowledgeable and made my whole experience wonderful start to finish. I got off on the wrong foot with Altima after a bad experience with one of the dentists, but Ashley as a hygienist totally recovered my opinion of some of their services. Unfortunately I CAN'T recommend Altima's dental services beyond the hygienist's cleaning—I'm fairly low-maintenance when it comes to dentistry, but I had a terrible experience with one of the dentists here who made me feel rushed and uncomfortable, leaving me with a bad filling as well.
