The dental hygienist is very knowledgeable and super kind. I would fully recommend going here!
On this visit I was seen by the dentist and I can’t say enough. Very kind, patient, thorough and explained everything before and during the process.
Everyone in the office is amazing. I had to bring my 5 month with me and the whole staff was outstanding. They held her and talked to her during my check up. When she started to cry the dentist went and got his phone, played soft music and turned the lights office until she fell asleep, where he was able to complete his work.

For my first visit there I had a very positive experience. The staff I met were all very polite and knowledgeable. Also, the dentist was able to do the work I needed on my initial visit very satisfactorily. I would definitely recommend Altima Dental in Morrisburg.

Adding a review to my rating since you want me to reach out. Not super interested in calling since that got me no where before, but as always, companies don't like low ratings!
I had my wisdom teeth removed back in Oct 2013. It took 3 hours for the dentist to extract them, even though he seemed to be rushing the whole time since I was the last patient. The whole time, he had one of those blocks in my mouth to keep it open, (key detail here).
Within a week I started having worse jaw pain than before my surgery, which on some days actually causes migraines. I called them up and was told it has nothing to do with the extraction and to go see my doctor. After seeing her and then a few specialists, I finally was referred to a dental surgeon in Ottawa, this took over a year, who was able to explain that due to the block being in my mouth so long, it had over extended the joint in my jaw and damaged it, likely permanently. He sent me back to Altima to get a night guard.
They tell me that the surgeon couldnt possibly know if the jaw pain was from the tooth extraction, so again, not thier fault. Well another $400 later, because of course I'm paying for something to fix their mistake, I get a night guard that doesn't help at all, and if anything seems to cause more pain then it helps with.
So I plug away for a few years, trying everything from physiotherapy to acupuncture, and Tylenol to prescription narcotics, costing me thousands of dollars, I finally got my doctor to send me for an MRI in 2018. The results? I've developed arthritis in the joint of my jaw. And what can cause arthritis in the jaw? Dental surgery trama such as during a difficult extraction! And what can you do to fix it permanently? Nothing!
So here I am, almost 10 years later. I have daily pain, worse than before the extraction. A migraine at least once a week. And I've spent in excess of $10,000 between the original surgery, therapists, night guards, and various drugs.
And that's why you will forever have a 1 star review from me, and why I tell everyone I know to avoid Altima Dental.

Great staff, appointment was on time. Dentist didn't mind answering my questions concerning options for future dental procedures.

Have been coming to this location for over 20 years myself and after having kids this has also been their primary dentist. Always had a good experience over the years. In the past 5 years I have started to suffer anxiety and gag reflux issues. In November 2022 I had an appointment to have an extraction which unfortunately could not be completed and so I was referred to a sedation dentist. This was good and I had a good experience in Ottawa with Sedation Dentistry. In January of 2023 I scheduled another appointment with altima to have a veneer consultation. When I was seated the dentist proceeded to ask me why I have returned and why I am wasting her professional time. She was incredibly rude and loud. She refused to give me service. This was incredibly embarrassing as my daughter who had just finished her appointment and another customer who I know personally were in the waiting room. Very unprofessional! I am never going back and I am never bringing my kids back either. I proceeded to get up and told her this to which she said, I don't care!

Managed to get our family in for a consult and cleaning very quickly. Very professional and friendly staff. Would highly recommend them, if anyone is looking for a dentist.
