I think this is my first time ever reviewing a business online, but Tim at Altrua deserves it! He went above and beyond to help us figure out if there were any better options for a new mortgage with a tight closing date. He responded to my initial cold call voicemail within half an hour and immediately provided details on an (extremely good) option for us.
He continued to follow up very quickly as we tried to pull together documentation for our rather unusual situation, including calling lenders and responding to us on a Sunday. I've been coordinating with Tim in altrua to find better rates for my mortgage, I've met many mortgage brokers and big banks to get better rates but all rates come with hefty fees and limited features

My renewal with a previous mortgage lender was coming on May 8,2020. However, the previous lender offered me with a higher interest rate. So, I found this Altrua financial. Bought a new house, and shopped a number of mortgage brokers and banks. Altrua got the best mortgage rate of all of them, and the process of obtaining worked out smoothly.

Altrua assisted me with securing the lowest possible interest rate on a high ratio mortgage. This was our second purchase of a home. They are a volumes based broker affiliated with MCAP and did not charge us any fees or commission. Brent was completely transparent, knowledgeable, friendly and answered any questions that I had. They also helped structure our mortgage vis-a-vis our other debts in such a way to have us paying out less interest per month in the long run (I should note I'd worked with at least half a dozen advisors by this point in search of a low interest rate and surprisingly none of them made the suggestion that he did). I was assigned to Tim after Brent made the introduction.if you want good service and a low interest rate, pick up the phone and have a chat with them. You won't be sorry.
