Clean, nice atmosphere. Good customer service. Tried the lemon cake, it was sour exact like.
Passion fruit mango croissant was really delicious.

Very pretty and good presentation place, cappuccino, baked goods are great, I would not say that Cakes are out of this world. They are mediocre for taste, but very pretty.

I was roaming to find a nice desert place and found a real gem. Really nice complex sweet treats …. Was always going to Nadege Pattiseri and now I found an alternate … Just that it’s too far. Come over to east or Toronto guys ….

The pastries and desserts are fantastic. I always end up buying so many, can't resiste the temptation:) Worth of 45 min drive from Yorkville. The service is good, the place is clean but I would improve the setup to the pre-covid one. Check it out, please, one of the best dessert places:)

I usually like minimalist but they have gone too far. Do they use a laser level to line up pastries? No tip jar because it is not part of their design. Nice bakery.

Thank you to my friend Ashley who told me about this place and she let me to taste the pinwheel pastries it is really delicious and love it. I’m not a big fan of pastries but when I tasted this omg right away the next day I went to the place even it’s so far I said to myself I gotta see this Bakeshop and it’s really worth trying so many different kinds of pastries enjoy looking the cakes design so many choices of macaroons, breads, croissants I love this place

Tried the eclair and dobosh there. The eclair was beautiful, delicious and well balanced. I had never had tempered chocolate on top of an eclair before and the crunch of the choc.versus the softness of the choux was amazing! The dobosh was not to my taste but others who tried it with me enjoyed it very much and even said it recalled memories of childhood desserts for them, which I consider to be very high praise. Looking forward to a return visit and trying some of their baked goods next time.

Been coming for years. Great that they did reno and became much more popular. Great cakes and all but selection does not change and boring.

Customer experience left a foul taste in my mouth.

After spending $90 on cakes here, the cashier working tonight refused to give a cup of hot water for my coughing mother in the car. The rudeness of this cashier made us feel like we did something wrong as customers.

We usually come here for the delicious cakes but this type of customer experience ruins the entire point of coming here. Looking at the reviews, it seems like it’s a chronic problem.

Looks like they changed their recipes. I bought 9 assorted pastries. They have different taste now. Too much sugar and gelatin.

This bakery is amazing, I have tried a lot of their cakes and pastry and they were all delicious (the tiramisu cake is my favourite). Their desserts are always a big hit at family functions. It would be great if you could have a size in-between 10 and 25 for your cakes.

I used to be a loyal customer to this business but my last visit has been disappointing. I purchased 2 small pistachio prestige cakes and it seems like they have changed the recipe. The pistachio cake tasted only of almond, I could not taste any pistachios at all. I do not support this kind of dishonest business practice.

I've been going to Amadeus for several years now, and while their signature namesake cake is worthy of 4 stars (it's our go-to we get 90% of the time), literally everything else I've had there, from the red velvet to the cheese cake to the macaroons to the lemon meringue to the hazelnut crunch, etc, etc.has been mediocre and nowhere near worth the steep prices they charge. The red velvet and cheesecake in particular were far too salty, in an off-putting way. I've also noticed a decline in quality with the Amadeus cake the past couple of years, but we still get it the most as it's their best option for our tastes. They do solid coffee though, and their croissants are decent. It's a nice clean facility with a nice modern vibe. Wish the workers were a bit more pleasant.

Amazing European desserts and lovely bread too. Bit pricey but worth the quality and taste. One of my fav go to spots.

Cheesecake was one of the best I ever had. Creme Brule, on the other hand, was the worst as there was no brittle sugar on top that cracks, instead it was a watery mess (see pic). Strawberry shortcake was almost all made of strawberries and whipped cream in between. There is such a thing as too much whipped cream and not enough biscuit. Tiramisu was uniquely presented and was pretty good. St Honore was really nice (the creme was just wow) except the bottom part (tasteless stale cookie taste). Macarons were standard. Some other little cakes were nice.

Delicious desserts. They even sell pastries and breads. There are sooooo many options to choose from but they are a bit pricey. Staff is also friendly.

Have been the customer here for some years. Before, this place offered 6 items no tax, however, now it becomes 6 cakes or 6 croissants, and you can’t combine these two categories together, which is a difference experience like this place always was and disappointing.

Very good patisserie with fantastic cakes and tarts in general, but their Amadeus cake is a classic and their seasonal pumpkin pie is an achievement. Every single piece is design beautifully and the shop itself has a cool, clean, white look that makes it quite sophisticated and helps the colorful and shinny cakes standout from the moment you walk in.

The bakery section carries very good quality stuff as well, with great bread and croissants - the almond croissants are to die for with a wonderfully flaky dough and a great balance of filling-to-dough ratio

The only drawbacks are their pricing and having only one dairy-free option.

Loved the strawberry shortcake my husband got for me. I prefer the cakes which are less sweet, and the lady at the store helped my husband with this one. I really loved the taste of cake and strawberries. It's a tad bit on the pricey side though.

Amadeus Patisserie is an French Parisian Cafe located in Thornhill. It has an modern European vibe to it. All cakes and pastries are well displayed and labelled. Furthermore, all the ladies behind the cakes front counter were friendly and attentive once you enter the bakery.

We bought the Strawberry Shortcake and Creme Brulee. Both were good, but I would personally pass the Strawberry Shortcake because it was mostly filled with coconut whipped cream. And be careful when you first crack the crust of the Creme Brulee, it's slightly in the thicker side.

I love the fact, they sell a mini version of all their full sized cakes. One gets to sample ahead of time.

Currently, they have 2 long bar tables near the front store with 6 bar stools to sit on for their dine in customers. It's no longer a place to lounge, but that could change in the near future once covid 19 is cleared.

Parking is free and there are ample spaces since their customers are mostly coming, grabbing and going.

This place is simply amazing! Everything is so fresh and tasty. That’s my go to place when I need a birthday cake, a dessert to bring to a friend’s house or when I’m craving a sweet treat. Their coffee is also fantastic. Pictures by @melhorfoods

Last time I visited this place in 2019. I ordered a red velvet cake, it was delicious. It took me more than 3 years to visit again. It hasn’t disappointed me at all. They are still carrying the same taste with the red velvet. This time I have tried few other pastries. And most of them are delicious. Pistachio delight was superb. It has an excellent filling of some kind of berries jam which fits well with it. I must say after such a long time it still maintains that expectation. This place is a hidden gem and a must try one in your bucket list for all sweet tooth persons.

Quality of baked goods are fine but employees body language and gestures are not acceptable at all. Unfortunately it gets worse and worse. I like their baked goods but won’t go there again. I’m done with them after 15 years: being a good customer since they were a small dark little store

I had the MilleFeuille cake for the first time for my birthday and was blown away. It was so different nothing like any cake I’ve had before, so I definitely had to get another birthday cake from them for someone else and also picked up some crème brûlée and the cheesecake.

It was a super far drive for me but definitely worth it! I will definitely be back.

A while back, I received delicious sweets from Amadeus Patisserie from a family member. I’ve heard a lot about this place, so I was super excited to try it out! Amadeus Patisserie is known as Toronto’s highest quality bakery and pastry shop offering the most extensive collection of sweets prepared by expert pastry chefs ~ who have received their training in Paris, France! Flavours include: Lavender, Passion Mango, Gianduja (chocolate hazelnut), Salted Caramel, Raspberry, Cassis (black), Vanilla, Café, Pistachio, Chocolate, Rose Petal, Matcha, Early Grey, and Red Velvet. My favourite would have to be the Raspberry and Salted Caramel, it is so tasty! Next, I got the Hazelnut Crunch ~ a dairy-free joy! This cake includes a hazelnut meringue layer filled with luscious caramel cream and caramelised hazelnuts. Every layer is light, sweet, and pleasant simply creating an exquisite dish. Cakes, mini cakes, macaroons, croissants. We shared two mini cakes, lemon tart and a chocolate praline cake. It was a bit on the pricier side but we’ll worth it for the creativity and taste of these desserts.

I personally don't like and find Amadeus to be average but my family and friends find this place great!

I asked for a cake from their back fridge. They said they don't have just that one in the back.
Never happened before.

I have had their Napoleon cake for my birthday two years in a row and I just live it. Also grabbed some small desserts las time and they were delicious as well. The strawberry shortcake and the coconut one are sooo good.

Not sure what’s going on with these negative reviews. I’ve been a consistent client at Amedeus for over 5 years. Always delicious! Very fast customer service. Yeah the prices went up, but prices went up everywhere! It’s called inflation. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I find it very unfair leaving negative reviews because you can’t justify the price.

We have been regular customers for 15 years and absolutely loved their cakes and mini deserts back than. Over the years they changed the recipes and the deserts over time just began to get worse and worse.

The last couple of times we went the last year the desert quality and flavour has gone down from years ago. They use a lot of gelatin and other things that make them all stiff and the flavours are just not there I am not sure what happened but the dessert is not the same and their not good.

We would always get the signature Amadeus cake for special occasions and even that the last two times the cake was horrible.

It is disappointing as it is so hard to find an amazing dessert place and to for us this was the spot but now everything we try just is not up to par….

Love this place. ALL the cakes are phenomenal. I especially enjoyed the Berry Cheese cake for my birthday today. Mmm!

It had been one my favourite places to get a cake for special occasion. However, I would like to share my recent experience. I dropped by the thornhill store on Dec. 17. There was a "live fly" in the cake which was so disgusting. It totally ruined the birthday party and it made all of us lost our appetite. It is even too gross to mention how it looked. I called the store and emailed the picture right away. The reply that i got was even more frustrating. They said, "We also have special fly catchers in place but unfortunately we don’t always able to control if a fly decides to “taste” our product and goes un noticed. We do our outmost to insure this doesn’t happen and we know how unpleasant it is to find a fly in food. ". "You are welcome to come in and get another cake free of charge and a complimentary box of 6 macarons. " Is this the way they treat their customers? I fully paid for the cake that was inedible on our special day. Another cake free of charge doesn't make sense. It won't bring our special day back so I emailed them back that I disagree with what they offered. I want to get refund right away but they haven't replied me back for 2 days. I really hope this doesn't happens to anyone. They should offer better quality of customer service.

I was so looking forward to my first experience. All the pastries looked amazing. It was Sunday around noon. My first choice was the Tiramisu followed by a St. Honore. I made my Starbucks Sumatran coffee and took my first taste. Nothing. Both had absolutely no taste. Have I contracted Covid? They say that's one of the signs. Joking aside, I have no doubt I won't be trying 2 others to see if my choices were misplaced. Very disappointed

The best cakes in Toronto- we used to come here years ago, and recently rediscovered it again. Try their berry cheesecake or their signature cake Amadeus. You really can’t go wrong with anything you try here!:)

I was introduced to this place by a friend as he purchases often here.
Decided to make the drive and visit myself. Staff are friendly and very efficient but most of all place is clean and the cakes are well made. I find not too sweet, which is my preference. Prices are definitely reasonable for the quality offered. Would recommend.

Cheesecake was great! Easy to order online and pick up in store. When you pick up your cake, you can get a good coffee.

We ordered a 3 different cakes and when we got home to open it, theres a live worm on one of them!

Its a nice place, I can't say nothing bad about the business. In fact it's a fabulous business. High quality products, great presentation and all. I noticed that there was a lack of a human touch. The tellers, there were several seemed to know what to do but didn't make me feel very cossey, in fact I felt rushed, I was trying to make my child happy, they were more focused on the next customer, I get it, time money all that. But a little patience for a family tring to enjoy the experience goes a long way. The reason why I mentioned is that this looks like a family friendly business and not a hot dog stand.

Worker would not serve someone that used any other face covering but a mask, only the ones you see used by the workers or some variation of. I acknowledge they can have what ever policy, though it doesnt follow by-law, at least I was. They refused services so I will refuse to give them cash until they discriminate less. Use to go here all the time, weekends after work and bring home things for family and gets cakes for occasions. My self and extended family are no longer going to come here. We will go to another place.

The cake in Amadeus is super B. Love the texture and sweetness is the right amount. We bought the black forest but it doesn't suit in the name because the cake taste exactly like the chocolate mouse I ordered in another bakery. It confusing. But I love chocolate mouse cake so I take 2nd slice again.

Very good cakes, high quality ingredients in it, no that much sugar in it, everything fresh, and a wonderful responsive service.

The strawberry shortcake has become a birthday tradition in my family. Everything at this patisserie is delicious and 100% worth every penny. They always have a wide range of macaron flavours available including earl grey, lavender, and rose petal.

The cakes are pricey but you get what you pay for. I've bought several cakes here before for special ocasions and haven't been disappointed. My favourite one is the pistachio pear open top cake. Maybe it's a pie?

Best cake i have ever had. Its very hard to choose the flavour as everything is good on its own. Price is a little expensive but worth the money

Love their cakes, but the blonde girl that works there seems to hate her job (or maybe she’s just having a bad day). I think she’s a newbie based on the fact that she doesn’t know how to write a message on plate.

This is one of my top 5 places to order cake or tart for special occasions and if I don’t want to wait in line I’ll order it on ubereats. We ordered a lemon meringue, the crust was so buttery, filling was tart and the meringue was beautifully piped and torched. I def would recommend you try this location.

Got chance to enjoy macarons today. This place is amazing, lot of variety for cakes/ pastries and tasty macarons. Will definitely visit again.

Wow! This place is fantastic! It's about $15 more per cake than some other bakeries, but this is a case where you are really getting what you pay for. The personal cakes are only about 6 dollars, so definitely give it a try.

Delicious cakes and pastries, great coffee, and friendly staff. My favourite place to grab a sweet treat, especially their red velvet (soo yummy). The atmosphere is super relaxing. One of the best bakeries around!

I personally think some of the cakes need more interesting/flavourful combinations (especially the large sizes where you can't see a cross-section of it). Yes, they're good. And yes, they beat 95% of cakes out there, but it somehow didn't live up to my expectations of cake glory and everyone agreed that in the end the cake was a bit.bland.

Absolutely amazing! Lemon raspberry croissant was so good I decided not to share it with my husband and had him buy another one! We also got the La Roche and St Honore desserts. The chocolate and hazelnut were married perfectly in the La Roche. The caramel discs on the choux pastry were delicious with the cream and curd filling.

Not much for pastries but lots of cakes almost like Amadeus Fine Cakes was a better name.too bad, my choice was a very dry tasteless cake and a bitter espresso.

I just purchased a dark chocolate cake for Passover, it had to b not only the best Passover cake I have ever had. Which is nit a easy feat. But even for everyday cakes Also topped my list.

I was excited to have a Birthday Cake that was purchased from Amadeus this weekend. It was the Caramel Crunch cake. I would not recommend this cake as it was extremely sweet. No one had any cake unfortunatly and it was late at night so Tim Hortons donuts to the rescue! The host called to inform the store because there was two thins slices of cake that was nibbled at and ask for a partial exchange of other items but was only offered 10% off her next purchased. Too bad since the store has other fabulous items. I would normally give a higher rating but customer service was obsolete in this incident. This post was not about personal preference the whole group of guest could not fathom the sweet taste.

First time and defiantly last time. I tried a cake and was floored how sweet it was. Yada yada I don’t need a response saying “cakes are sweet “ no this was beyond sweet like a paste of sugar and water. Needless to say I was also stunned by the price. Needless to say the person that purchased it said they do have great cakes but this was the odd ball. No one ate the cake! Because the individual that purchased it frequently visits the store decided to call them. They decided it was a personal preference and decided against a partial refund. When there is a group of 10 plus ppl disliking a taste it’s not a personal preference FYI.
