I bought my wedding dress from Amanda-Lina's about a month ago and had such a wonderful experience! As this was my first bridal appointment, I was not expecting to find a dress, but they had such a beautiful selection to choose from. I would also like to thank my consultant, Nancy, who made all of this possible! I am pretty sure she knew my dress was the one before I even knew. She did such a wonderful job helping me 'Say Yes To The Dress! ' I also booked the Bridal VIP Appointment which I would highly recommend.

I had such a wonderful experience here! The ladies were all very friendly, attentive, informative and knowledgeable about their inventory. I found a gown that I really felt like myself in! The alterations made it absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend!

Wide selection of beautiful dresses. Had Teresa M.as my consultant. Teresa was great in picking beautiful dresses, she helped me in & out of the dresses. I ended up saying yes to a lace gown. My family came from another city to be with me, I ordered the dress, cancelled appointments to other stores & went to celebrate. About a week later I was informed the manufacturer didn't have the specific lace & I would need to find another dress.
Extremely disappointed that there wasn't an explanation & that they let me order a gown that wouldn't be available. Wasted my family's time & mine. I suggest future brides to confirm that all components of the dress are available before making an order with this store - shouldn't be the client to confirm that but I don't want another bride to be in the situation I was in.

I can’t express my gratitude enough to Amanda-Lina’s. I had a major dress crisis where I purchased and found out that I would never receive it … it was three months before my wedding. I live a couple hours from Vaughan and reached out by email to the store to find out if they still had a gown I had chosen in the beginning of my search a year ago. I was told they did and that I could come to try on the sample and they would be able to order in time. I attended my appointment and was greeted, Maria the SA was AMAZING. She was kind, compassionate and helpful. She gave me the experience I missed out on previously. She made the appointment special even though I was a guaranteed sale (since I was just coming in to order the dress really) I didn’t expect to feel so special. I thank you so much for giving me this memorable experience that I almost didn’t get. The follow up appointment to try on the new gown was also a breeze when it came in (EARLIER than expected!). I am so grateful to Amanda-Lina’s and highly recommend making an appointment to shop their beautiful and abundant gowns to any Bride to be!

My whole experience was amazing, thanks to Teresa. She was honest and patient from the beginning. She listened to what I wanted and respected my budget. It’s a bonus that they have bigger sizes for brides to try on. I would definitely recommend booking the VIP appointment and having a private try on room to yourself. Thank you again to Teresa for being patient with me and helping me find the perfect dress!

Unless you want a stressful, confusing and frustrating dress shopping experience, don’t go here!
I trusted the staff to be knowledgeable enough to recommend a dress size that would fit well enough where if I had to do alterations, it would be as little as possible. They measured my bust and waist as a medium and my hips as an XL (it definitely is not an XL!), then convinced me to buy the XL dress for a list of reasons. I was skeptical because I know this is not my size but since they’re the so called dress experts I went with their recommendations. Well surprise, the entire dress including the hip area is way too big for me and I mean so big that another seamstress could not alter it for me. Now Amanda Lina wants 0 responsibility for their wrong doing and I’m stuck paying double the cost of the dress for alterations. This could have been avoided if they used common sense especially with the way I explained I wanted to dress to fit which is tight.
I’m very disappointed that they could not come up with another solution to this mess.

My consultant Kim was amazing she was charismatic and very knowledgable with their inventory! Would highly recommend shopping here, great selection of dresses in various prices! I did the VIP appointment where my guests and I were in a private room and it was a great experience!

Had a good experience! Many beautiful dresses to try! Found my lovely wedding dress here after many months of searching.
Downside of it was not being able to take pictures when trying on the different dresses. Due to this I wasn’t able to ask friends and family who did not attend the appointment their thoughts on all the dresses I tried

I tried on some dresses here and found the staff nice and helpful, the only issue is they do not have most of the dresses that are on their website in store.

I said “Yes” to the dress! Nadia was excellent! She listened to everything I liked and disliked until she found the one! The store is gorgeous! The options are endless! An absolute must shop for gown shopping!

No Refunds no exchanges no matter what. Don't order from them.order from a site that lets you return or exchange. I ordered a dress.not bridal.online.and It's not what I thought it was. 2 days later I called to return or exchange it.they wouldn't do it.now I'm stuck with a dress I paid 1400 and can't wear it.

I haven’t visited the store yet, but after an initial call to the store inquiring on whether they carried “Jenny Yoo Bridal”, I am reluctant to visit this store and search for my dress. The receptionist who answered my call scoffed and laughed while stating “what’s Jenny Yoo? I’ve never heard of that name. ” A simple “no, unfortunately we don’t carry this brand” would have sufficed.

Such a great experience shopping for my wedding dress. Teresa M had such a good eye. I gave her a general description of what I liked and she pulled gown after gown that were perfect, even when on the hanger, I thought I wouldn’t like it. Ended up cancelling my appointment at another place because I found “my” gown at Amanda-Lina’s.

Although I didn’t find my dream dress from Amandalina’s, I would like to thank Teresa who was my consultant there for all her help. She answered any questions I had and was truly an amazing consultant! It made my experience a great one!

I bought my wedding dress at Amanda Lina’s with the help of a lovely sales associate, Nancy. She was peaceful, kind and helpful throughout the entire process. She provided excellent service and showed me a variety of options for bridal dresses. She was patient and did not rush me to make a decision, so I never felt pressured at all. I tried on many bridal gowns and found the perfect one where I felt beautiful. Nancy helped pick the perfect accessories including a veil to match my dress and a stunning headpiece. You will find your perfect dress at Amanda Lina’s!

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Got treated poorly and when asked for help with my dress they refused. Lady was very rude. Wanted to take a couple pictures I was not allowed unless I “rang the bell” According to all reviews here everything was great. Unsure if they do not post bad reviews or maybe people just like it there. But, my experience was horrible and would not recommend any of my family or friends to go there.

My experience at Amanda-Lina’s was amazing because of my consultant Diane. She was wonderful! Diane took the time to get to know me and made me feel very comfortable. Picking wedding dresses can be stressful but Diane was able to pick a few dresses that catered to my style and the style of my wedding. The store is big, beautiful and clean. The staff are very friendly and organized. I took one star away because I think it is important for a bride to take a photo of herself in dresses that she likes in the store to look back on and decide if it worth coming back to try on the same dresses. It’s a big purchase and moment, taking pictures would help. The staff is very adamant on no photos so keep this in mind when visiting. Aside from that, it was a great bridal experience! The service I received has been absolutely horrible. I bought a dress that was damaged prior to my purchase. The staff assured me all the damages would be fixed by the seamstress. However, when I came home to properly inspect the dress, the damages were still there. Not only did I not have a dress for my special occasion but the store manager Stephanie also did not allow me to return the damaged dress after I provided sufficient photographs. This is the most stressful and dissapointing customer service experience I've ever had.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Ridwan helped me to find the best evening dress I was hoping for.the dress is gorgeous and I love it Extremely patient and super helpful. I was super happy with my experience at Amanda lina’s.

Dress selection is very good but seamstresses, as much as they tried, were not good. You want to do adjustments from same place you bought the dress because it’s usually cheaper. I went 3x for adjustments. In the end, could not fix my chest area in time and the hem nearly made me trip walking down the aisle. You don’t want to be stressing about whether your chest is showing or tripping on your wedding day. If you use them, keep on top of them and ask for a different seamstress if you’re not happy.

Nancy was excellent in spending time with me helping me find my dress. I was so happy to have found one in my first appointment! Great service and experience- I will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

I found my dress at Amanda-Lina’s a few weeks ago! Such a great experience, the consultant was very sweet, she listened to exactly what I was looking for and made me feel very comfortable. It was definitely an emotional moment when we found the one. I can’t wait for my dress to arrive!

I took my mom here to buy her Mother of the Bride dress and Nadia was our salesperson. She was so incredible, patient and helpful! She worked hard to listen to what we were looking for and brought us gowns within that. Amazing experience, would come again!

So far so good, I have purchased my wedding dress the sales lady was nice and accommodating. The front desk ladies were always lovely to me and my family. We will see how the alterations go and I'll reupdate this review if needed at the time. I didn't find anyone more pushy then any other store we went to.

My full experience was still 10/10 with the alterations and everything. I'll be back when we renew our vows!

The selection of dresses is very large, with quality evidently being high. The team is very helpful and kind, all about making your experience as pleasant as possible. Had my dress fitting with Diana, and I couldn't have asked for a better stylist. She providing answers to all my questions and more, and I certainly recommend this store to all brides to be.

I was in shopping for a dress for my daughter for her first Holy Communion and must say the staff were extremely pleasant and made my little girl feel like a divine Princess. Yes we shopped in the flower girl dress section and what a beautiful selection you have. My little girl was so happy with this experience and especially with her dress. It's a memory we'll both treasure. Thank you to the wonderful staff. Bless your hearts for being so kind and patient and making my little girl's special day, extra special

I really wish I could give this place zero stars because they genuinely deserve it. I ordered a bridesmaid dress for my cousin's wedding. I paid over 300 upfront in December (the year before the wedding) for my dress and was told the arrival time was 6 months, estimated arrival time May-June. So, I called three times in May to check on the delivery status of my dress and no one ever picked up my call. I left a single voice message and no one ever got back to me. Instead, they decide to call the bride, my cousin, and let her know that the bridesmaid dresses have not even been ordered because we all did not come in at once, which is horribly impractical given everyone has different schedules. So, the dresses could not arrive on time and they did not even want to give us a refund. We were told that we should have known the dresses would not be ordered unless everyone came in. But, we were never updated on the situation or made known that the dresses weren’t even ordered. Not one update or call about anything. They called us liars and tried to justify themselves as much as they could. My cousin's fiancé finally managed to get us a refund. Then, they finally called me just for the credit card info. Not a single apology, nothing. I really just don't understand why I paid upfront for something that was never even ordered and never made aware that the dress was not ordered, and they knew the wedding date was approaching. Just horrible customer service.

I had booked an appointment for two of my bridesmaids, and an appointment for the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. As soon as we arrived at the store the lady at the front desk was extremely rude to us. She said that we should have booked two separate appointments for the mothers of the bride and groom and that each of them would get 30 minutes, instead of a full hour, to try on dresses. We were ok with that, however the sales representative that assisted the mothers was also rude, and not helpful at all. She didn't explain what any of the dresses are (off the rack, custom order, etc.) and just started pulling dresses off the racks and handing them to the moms. My bridesmaids were at the other end of the store, and they were being assisted by Teresa, who was wonderful. The bridesmaids were using two changing rooms (one each) and there were another two empty changing rooms available right next to them. Teresa asked the sales rep that was assisting the moms if she could move them to those change rooms, so we could all be close together, and the other sales rep refused. It seems very odd and counter-productive to me that they would make such a big deal out of not having booked two separate appointments for the moms, seeing as we would have bought 4 dresses, therefore giving them more business and money, and that they wouldn't accommodate us and put everyone in the same space since it was available. We felt rushed and it was not the experience we wanted for wedding-related dress shopping. Needless to say we did not get their dresses from here.

I went in today to find my bridal dress and I was so nervous getting there. My wedding is in July 2022 and going in I was very concerned that I would not find the right dress in time. Once I got there I was greeted right away by lovely front desk staff and by my consultant, Diane. Diane made me feel at ease right away. This lady deserves a promotion. She took her time and I NEVER felt pressured! I fell in love with one of the dresses but did not want to commit yet as I had one more bridal appointment to attend for the day. She was extremely attentive, professional and made me feel special! I went to check out the other store… and the experience did not compare to what I experienced with Diane. I kept thinking about the dress I found and had to come back and get it. I came back later on to the store and even though I did not have an appointment this time, they still took me in and gave me the full experience of trying on the dress from the beginning! I KNEW this was the dress and Diane was attentive and gave me her full attention again! I did not feel rushed at all and she made sure that I had the full experience. I had 3 mirrors this time to get a full angles of the dress! I absolutely loved it even more and wanted to cry from joy! I never thought I would cry over a dress… but the whole experience was so special! Got to ring the bell and say yes to my stunning dress which will arrive on time despite it being in July! Thank you Diane and team! You truly made this whole experience so special! I would 100% refer you folks to anyone! Especially the lovely Diane! Oh and the store is beautiful… it does not have those gross carpets… it’s clean, bright and has so many stunning dresses!

Sarah was amazing in making me feel comfortable and was able to quickly adjust based on the dresses I was liking and find me beautiful dresses in the style I was loving.
I could not be happier with the level of professionalism and kindness she showed. I will recommend her for years to come.
My mom also wanted me to point out that Diane was also amazing in keeping her company and being incredibly kind and supportive. She also went above and beyond and I am extremely grateful for her as well.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! There are sooo many other beautiful bridal stores that take the time to help you professionally, value you as a customer AT NO CHARGE! And allow you to take photos. This place was the worst bridal experience I have had. I paid $75 for a VIP appointment which was not even worth my time.
All your literally paying for is to try on dresses in a tiny room, which they call a “private room” and to be rushed and pressured to ”say yes to the scam” with all those hidden fees. What a complete waste of money and time. I was so disappointed I emailed Amanda at customer service and asked to speak over the phone, she never called and ignored my message. This is a clear message they don’t value you as a customer. Don't recommend this bridal salon, if you are looking for a pleasant experience, this place isn't it! So sad!

Great experience! There is a wide selection of bridal dresses at different price ranges, with staff who are friendly and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and not once did I feel pressured to buy a dress. I appreciated the time they took to answer my questions and their honesty. After two bridal appointments, I finally said yes to the dress!

I had been shopping around for gowns for a while but when I saw the gowns on the Amanda-Lina's website, I knew that will be where I will say Yes to my dress. When I entered the store, i was blown away.they had the most amazing ranges of beautiful gowns I had seen in Toronto. Once I saw my gown, I knew it was the one. I know I made the right choice.they were all so helpful, warm and friendly. I absolutely love my gown and I cannot wait to walk down the aisle. I had a great shopping experience.

Great experience! They have a tone of models and I was able to find my dream wedding gown in my budget! Two lovely ladies to help me. The cherry on the cake: Mylène spoke French! Didn’t think a Québécoise would sell me my wedding dress in Toronto haha she was very helpful, funny, and i had a wonderful time! Thanks!

I'm really disappointed in my experience at Amanda Lina's. I paid for the $75 VIP option and it was hardly that. Of the three stores I went to this was by far at the bottom of the list which was really surprising since it's the home of Say Yes to the Dress Canada. If you're going to charge people for trying on dresses the experience should be above average!

Despite paying for a longer appointment the whole thing felt rushed. My bridal consultant didn't ask me a single question about my wedding and seemed more than uninterested in knowing anything about me. When we went to pick dresses the first thing she said to me was that we needed to move fast because we don't have a lot of time (not exactly the best way to build good rapport). I also asked to try on certain dresses 3 or 4 times and she never brought them out. Instead she kept bringing in ones she had chosen. At one point I asked to try on a dress that was double my budget and was ready to pay for it if I really loved it.again she never brought it out (which just seems like a bad sales move). At the end of the appointment I had found a dress that I loved. I asked about ordering it and what the next steps were. My consultant then told me she wasn't even sure if she could get this dress for me (for context I had tried it 3x and kept coming back to it, shouldn't she have checked availability at some point earlier?).

To give credit where credit it due, my consultant did seem like a nice woman and was pleasant to work with. She also did go over the appointment time which I really appreciated. In the moment I thought the experience was great since I had nothing to compare it to.but after I went to other stores it really put things into perspective and the more I thought about it the more disappointed I got. The whole experience was really subpar. If you're looking for the true say yes to the dress experience this is not the place.

I cannot say enough good things about Amandalina's. To start off, the sales associate Diane helped me find my dream ball gown. We were all in instant tears the minute I came out of the dressing room. She was so positive and really made the whole appointment such a fun, exciting experience. I had just come from a prior store that made me feel so body concious, and then having someone like Diane truly lifted my spirits. Thankyou Diane!

I also did my alterations at Amandalina's. Yes, the price can be expensive, but it is worth every penny for true professional, custom seamstress work. My incredible seamstress was Nazarine. She was so detailed oriented and such a pleasure to work with. Every appointment she truly cared to perfect my dress and the end result was that the dress fit me like a glove. Nazarine, as my mom said multiple times you are like a Dior steamstress! Thankyou so much for everything!

I did not enjoy my time at Amandalina's. I had just gotten engaged, so I booked a wedding dress appointment here and brought my mother along with me. Upon arrival 10 minutes before, we were barked at with 'excuse me, you need an appointment! ', despite being the only ones there and having booked one in advance. We were put in a waiting area and sat for about 20 minutes until we were even acknowledged. The sales woman that finally helped us didn't ask any questions about me, did not acknowledge my mother, and did not even ask my name. I told her what I was looking for (a-line, simple, chiffon) and she kept pulling mermaid/trumpet gowns in full lace and sparkles. I did not feel heard or listened to, especially because she talked over me constantly. I didn't end up finding anything, and the sales woman basically told me I was up the creek if I didn't see anything I liked there. I felt very defeated, and we left with no intention of returning. I would recommend going literally anywhere but here, because shopping for a wedding dress should be treated as a special and intimate experience. This felt nothing like that.

Yesterday I had my bridal dress appointment and I couldn’t be happier! Diane made my appointment special and ensured me that she would find me a dress at the start of my appointment and she delivered. Thank you Diane for all your help and for finding my dream wedding dress!

I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Amanda-Lina's. Wendy was incredible, very attentive but also knew just when to step away so I can enjoy a very special moment with my closest family and friends. It is because of Wendy that I was am thrilled to say that I said "Yes to the dress"!

It wasn’t the first store I visited and I had no idea they were home to the show “Say Yes to the Dress. ” I ended up coming to this store as I found online they had a dress I wanted to try.

They allow you to pick dresses you want to try on which is nice and the consultant also recommends a few.
The consultant was helpful and pointed out pros and cons of each dress to help me make a decision. Finally, I picked a new dress and not the one I originally came to look at.

Only downside of this store is that they don’t let you take pictures of the dress and this is why I have decided to give it a 4 star and not 5. Trying on a lot of dresses can get overwhelming and going home and taking it all in and looking back at pictures helps you make a clear decision. Not having a picture did not help in this matter.

Six months later I got to pick up my dress. It surprised me, as because of Covid I thought it was gonna be longer wait time. Samantha helped me try on my dress and suggested veils to match my dress. She was very nice and super helpful. Loved having Samantha’s help!

Thank you Amanda-Lina for finding my dress! I have been so many boutique stores and cannot decide which kind of dress fits me the most. Trust me, I am super indecisive person. Nancy listened to me and helped me to find some dresses that will fit me. She is such a helper especially she is super honest with you (telling you if you actually look good on you or not). Amanda-Lina has A LOT OF VARIETY which you will definitely find your dream dress. Also, if you have some dresses in mind, call / email them ahead before your appointment. They will get them ready for your appointment so you can try all the dresses in one setting and you can compare them side by side.

Side note: no picture can be taken! But you can video call your loved ones!

My experience at Amanda Lina's was wonderful! The atmosphere of the store was lovely, the selection was great for all types of budgets, and the people were what really drew me in.

My consultant was Diane and she was superb! Not pushy at all, so attentive and helpful throughout the whole process. She was supportive, even after I left after the first day without a dress. I had a few negative experiences at other stores, and came right back to Diane. She happily had me try on as many dresses as I liked, and didn't make me feel like I was asking too much if I didn't like a dress. She made the process very relaxing! She was also very respectful of my budgetary requirements. In the end, I did end up going way over budget, but because I insisted on trying on a dress even when she told me it wasn't within the budget.

I would recommend Amanda Lina's - a great place to start. Great service and lots of selection!

Amanda Lina's is a great place to go to get a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress. They have a great selection of dresses and accessories and the people working there are great.

My consultant was Diane and she was fantastic! Not pushy at all, so attentive and helpful throughout the whole process. She went out of her way to address any elements of dresses that I didn't like and suggest alterations that could be made and helped me find a dress that I love.

I would recommend Amanda Lina's and in particular Diane.

I recently purchased my wedding dress from Amanda-Lina's. I had a wonderful experience. They had a large selection of gowns, and Nahal was super kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

We brought my sister here to find her wedding dress and found that the staff was attentive and lovely. They accommodated our family and made the experience special.

This was THE WORST experience I have EVER HAD! A sales woman promised and assured me that the colour of bridesmaids dresses would match the colour of a dress for my junior bridesmaid (both dresses bought at Amanda-linas!) and when the dresses came in they were COMPLETELY different colors! When I complained to the manager she did not admit that her employee made a mistake and she did not give me a credit on the dress or on the new dress that I had to buy! Another sales woman also was very rude, she stood beside us as we were speaking to the manager, never spoke, but rolled her eyes at the younger children in my family while we were speaking to the manager! I’ve never experienced such TERRIBLE customer service in my life! The employees were rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. I’ve never been treated that poorly as a customer in my life. Definitley DO NOT go to this store!

1 star for this store. Rude, not understanding and unprofessional employees. Messed up 14 bridesmaid dresses. Will not own up to their mistakes and because of their unprofessionalism my wedding will have to be completely changed due to their mistakes

It was a beautiful boutique but I found that they had a very poor selection of plus size bridal dresses. I was looking for a more modern and unique style of dress and they kept on bringing in traditional type of dresses. I felt like it was a waste of my time.

Amanda-Lina's was a great place for finding my dress. The dress consultant was attentive from the minute we walked in and was really helpful in finding gowns that matched what I was looking for. She was able to present dresses I wouldn't have picked up my own, and they were beautiful.

In finding my dress, the staff were awesome every step of the way! They are professionals and manage the process well. Definitely recommend looking here!

Amanda-Lina’s has a beautiful selection of wedding dresses within an affordable price range. My consultant was very helpful as she was attentive to what I was looking for. Within minutes we found the one I had my eye on. I feel very fortunate walking out of the store having purchased my dream dress! I would recommend Amanda-Lina’s to future bride-to-be’s as you won’t be dissapointment with the variety!

I went into this store on December 1st and had the best experience! My consultant was amazing she was so kind and attentive, I ended up finding my dress so quickly the first dress i put on I knew it was the one! They have a great selection of dresses and would definitely recommend this store to everyone!

I visited Amandalina's this past weekend with my cousin, the bride. This was to be her first time trying on dresses, though as anyone would expect, she had an idea of the dress she wanted, and had in mind a particular dress, which according to their website, they had.

Upon arrival, despite the boutique being empty of any other customers, we were for the most part ignored by most of the employees except for the consultant, Theresa, assigned to our group. I do have to say there was one other consultant present who did offer better customer service when asked direct questions.

The bride showed Theresa the dress she had in mind, and the entire appointment went from awkward to horrible. It was clearly evident that the consultant did not think the bride had any business trying ANY dresses at the store, and specifically not the dress she was looking for - when she finally, reluctantly, brought it out of the back, she wouldn't even remove it from the garment bag and the bride was not permitted to try it.

At this point, the rest of the group started browsing the dress selection, however we were constantly told to not even bother looking as nothing was in her $3k price range or her size. I understand that the store might not have all sizes available to try, however I was under the impression that dresses were made to order and as such, the correct size could be obtained.however this was not suggested as an option by Theresa, no matter which dress was suggested. I would further expect a consultant to suggest similar dresses in an appropriate size, to at least provide an idea of whether the silhouette works, etc.

But no. Literally every dress we suggested was shot down by the consultant as either not being the right size or price. The bride felt so attacked and disparaged that we left not 15 minutes after arriving, without her having the opportunity to even try one dress on. So much for what is supposed to be an amazing experience. Instead our bride left traumatized and reluctant to try again at ANY boutique.

Appalling.

SHOPPERS BEWARE*******Been to a few places in the gta and this was on me of the ones on the bottom of my list. We walked in and we're not greeted as there was a clump of customers standing literally in the middle of the doors. Then you have to sign in and put all information that you've already submitted before (annoying cuse we had to wait and that took into our appointment time) the consultants are rude and don't even look happy. I actually over heard one consultant say "don't give me that bride her budget is low" that is disgusting to hear. My friends budget was $1000-$2500 maybe that's not a lot to these fancy Woodbridge people but that's a significant amount to spend, also it's HER special day, you guys not there to help make any bride feel special and to make sure she finds the perfect dress? ! So my friend is now trying on dresses, they were nice but the consultant will tell you if you're too big to try on a dress. Stupid considering the dresses are not open for the customers to look at, why not bring out dresses that you know will fit the brides and not make the appointment discouraging. Long story short unless your Italian and are skinny don't go here. They do not care. We took our business to 4040 steeles and it was AMAZING!

I recently ordered my dress from Amanda-Lina's and I could not be happier with my experience. My sales representative was Diane and she made the whole process so much more memorable and personal than I was expecting.
I had gone to a couple of stores before Amanda-Lina and had some pretty bad experiences. I really didn't know what I was looking for in a dress and I felt like most of the sales-reps I had dealt with at other stores expected me to know what I was looking for and scolded me when I told them I wasn't sure.
When I arrived for my first appointment at Amanda-Lina, Diane made me feel comfortable and listened to my thoughts and concerns with each dress along the way. At the end of my appointment, when I thought I had decided on a dress, Diane asked me to try on one more dress that was in a style I assumed I wouldn't like.
I'm so thankful for Diane's insight and care. I ended up falling in love with a dress that I otherwise wouldn't have given a second thought. I truly didn't expect to cry or feel anything for any dress but I finally felt like a bride and it made me very emotional.
I've ordered my dress and I cannot wait to wear it and feel like a beautiful bride should feel on my wedding day. I can't thank Amanda-Lina's and Diane enough for giving me this special experience:)

Respect, something that lacked at one of my friends appointment. This world is already cruel enough and to treat someone with disrespect on a journey that is supposed to be happy and exciting is very disappointing.

Teresa, one of the consultants were confronted about the comments they made and how they made my friend feel. To my surprise, she felt no remorse. Your company clearly felt that your employee was in the wrong because you offerered my friend a “private room” to come back to continue her experience. That is still not the way to go considering no materialistic item or experience can compensate for this kind of behaviour. Teresa, i really hope you do read this to remind you that being rude to people is not the way to go. Respect, that is all that is really needed.

Having to give this place one star to be able to write a review was even difficult for me to do because it’s not deserving of even one star.
I know Amandalinas is a well known boutique especially for us girls from the GTA and a go to but after an experience my friends and I had this weekend we will definitely never be stepping foot into this place again. One of my best friends is getting married and experiencing what is one of the most exciting times of her life, one of the most fun being dress shopping and an experience at Amandalinas has ruined this time for her. A consultant, Teresa, felt it was her place to play the role of a disgustingly judgmental and rude person for all of us during this experience. Felt it was her place to make comments and remarks on what may have been going on in that narrow and sad mind of hers.
I can go on for days on how disturbed this visit has made us all feel but I’m going to pray for this individual and hope that if she does continue to work in this field that she doesn’t ever make another woman feel the way she made not only my friend but all of us feel.
It’s the time in our lives where we’re all getting engaged and married and I know that no one will ever even consider stepping foot into a place like this.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - EVER - To say I am disappointed is a MASSIVE understatement. This boutique was the first place that came to mind for wedding gowns.
Much to my surprise, our experience this past weekend was exceptionally different than anything you could ever imagine. Our stylist was rude and judgmental and made everyone, especially the bride feel extremely uncomfortable. Nothing will ever make up for the fact that our bride was treated so terribly. We eventually left without our bride trying anything on because the experience was unfathomable and we couldn't stand to be there any longer.
As we left, our friend stayed back to speak to the consultant, and when confronted, she stated - she will not apologize, as she doesn't feel as if she did anything wrong and if we have an issue we can leave a review. So here it is.
Don't waste your time here.
Bottom line, telling someone they can't fit into any dress in the boutique, is wrong.
Telling someone there is nothing they can do with any of the dresses she likes, is wrong.
Disrespecting someone, at all, is always wrong.
Working as a stylist, a consultant in customer service, at a bridal boutique, and to be that arrogant, that unwilling to help, unwilling to accommodate, is wrong.
There are many other bridal boutiques with exceptional service, don't chance it with the possibility of one of the happiest moments of your life being turned into a horrible reminder of the unnecessary bigotry some people posses.
