Amazing Nails

I went there with my mom last week and we really enjoyed our time bonding with the services offered by May and Rachel who did our pedicure and waxing. They were very nice and professional. My mom is diabetic so we really want someone who knows how to handle her and Rachel was very careful and caring. If there is just one thing for improvement it would be the wax used to make it more gentle on the skin. Other than that, both ladies were great in their customer services. We will definitely go back.

Genuinely nicest women working here I cannot appreciate enough. First time walk in for a gel removal, the ladies are all busy with their client but still have me seated and get me started. I see they got very good compliments from the clients especially they know what exactly their returning clients want. The ladies are very sincere, kind and genuinely nice and humble that makes me feel comfortable in their special way. I will definitely come back for a manicure next time.

Today was the first time I got my nails done! I do have to say this place isn't bad for a decent medicure just for fun or for the sake of it. If you want extremely nice nails and everything maybe look somewhere else. I'm not sure what the average price is to get your nails done but you get what you paid for. I had some leftover residue that was peeling around my nails and some nail polish that went out. But overall I am very pleased with what I got and the older lady was quite nice and friendly (not Rachel). I would probably come again because they're close and the price isn't too bad.

ONE MONTH AFTER:
I got my extensions (or acrylics if thats what they call them) taken off by the same lady. 3/10 of those extensions came off naturally after using my hands a lot. My real nails have grown a lot too so it was about time before I hurt myself - which I did a few times. I decided to get my nails done again with shellac to preserve my grown nails. I really love this dark color I'm so happy she let me do a test nail on myself to see if I would like it. As always, very friendly ladies and a great job.

Mae and Racheal are both amazing. They both take great care of me, give me great service and do their best to make me as happy as possible. They both make me welcome and as comfortable. The 2 of them are wonderful.

I've been going here for years. The ladies that work here are very friendly and hardworking. They try their best to accommodate walk-ins and offer a variety of options.

Shellac was done horribly. Nails started cracking and shellac completely came off in less than a week. If you want to come here the only good staff is Nancy and Rachel. Dont trust your nails with anyone else there, everyone else does a poor job.

My friend and I have been going there for years. Super nice staff. I always book my appointments with Rachel. Whenever she does my pedi, it lasts for 3 months. She is super friendly. If you are planning to walk-in, prepared to be wait for more than an hour to be served.

Mani/pedi poorly done. I feel bad leaving this review because the ladies were nice. But I’m rating quality of service paid for. I understand utilizing time to serve more customers but they did my mani during my pedi and the girl was standing hunched over and did a very sloppy and rushed job (sides of nails had no polish, brush stroke lines, air bubbles,). They did not ask me to wash my hands and I had cotton threads stuck to my nail ends with polish over it.

The imperfections really stood out once dry. I let her know. She then reapplied a coat of polish and top coat (on some fingers) which “concealed” it til that coat dried. I called her back and said it still looks bad and she completely disregarded her errors and said “You don’t like colour. Colour no good. Pick another one you want to change. ” I explained it was not the colour. I pointed at the areas but she looked confused, replied in her language and pretended not to speak any English anymore the rest of my time there.

I picked a new shade, a nude colour because it would not show imperfections as much. I am a paying costumer I should not have to be doing that! The previous colour was not completely removed and now I have remnants of darker polish under the nude. With the cotton threads still on my nails. I didn’t bother telling them. No one even looked at it for applied lotion or cuticle oil after they just said “you’re dry you can go now. ” I politely paid, yes even with tip though undeserving, but I will never return to this nail salon. These good reviews baffle me. Probably the worst manicure I had in 20 years. Could have done a better job myself at home.

The customer service was excellent but the nails dont last long at all. I got regular acrylic and they have never broke of this fast whenever i have gotten them done at other salons. I got them done on sat morning and by monday evening a nail already broke of. In two days thats so fast. I didnt work all weekend and it still broke. Then i went back and got them to fix it. Then by sunday 4 nails on one hand all broke. Usually when i get arylic they never break within the first week and usually need to get them professionally of so I am very disappointed with the quality of there nails.

Horrible service. This was the second time I tried giving this place a chance. The first time the polish was very sloppy and rushed. I tried giving them a second chance today. I Booked a day in advance and when I arrived the woman started screaming at me that she called me and I cancelled. I told her repeatedly and even showed her no one called me. She was extreamly rude and aggressive. Not even apologetic that they messed up. Clearly wrote down the incorrect number and tried to blame it on me. Extremely unprofessional. This was done in front of all the customers as well strongly recommend the staff getting some customer service training.

The place was horrible, towels and brushes were really dirty, people were rude, didnt do their job well, kept saying no to our requests.

I had an appointment for 230pm today. I was 15 min late, I waited another 20 min and then never got a clear response as to when I would be next. These 2 girls came in for a walk-in pedi and the employees decided to ignore me so I just walked out. Customer service is very important to me and if I feel like my business is not wanted then I will go elsewhere. I ended up going to Elegant Nails at Woodside Mall and surprisingly the service was excellent and did not have to wait even 5 min to be seated, even though there were several walk-ins

I had the worst manicure/pedicure experience! They do not know how to do manicures. They do not paint your nails fully, leaving your nail showing close to it's cuticles. Also, I asked them to change the shellac nail colour from yellow to a different color since the yellow was not being applied evenly. They charged me extra $$$ for this for the color change. If the color isn't being applied evenly, I should not have been charged extra. Also, you can see the residual yellow around my cuticles after my manicure was done. For $50 manicure and pedicure, take your business elsewhere!

Was on the road and I didn't feel like going to the regular spot so I found Amazing Nails. It was much closer to my house so I was hoping it would work out. It didn't I was a walk in. I had a polish change on my toes and a shellac for my fingers. My daughter got her brows waxed. The manicurist listened to my requests, helped me with my shoes etc. No issues with customer service. I was even more pleased when I saw that they had much more colour selection than the place I normally go to. However the next day my shellac had a chip on the index finger. Then my pinkie nail split. Now one week in, my entire right hand shellac is peeling. Normally at the salon you put your hand in a built in led light in the table. She used a small portable plug in one. Not sure if this was a factor. If u go there, don't let them use the portable light. My daughter asked for a clean up on the brows. Her brows have never been so thin and the next day a small burn appeared. I will never go back. And that's too bad because they had a lot going in their favor while I was there.

I was looking for a cost effective place to take my mom for mothers day. This place is great, $15 shellac manicures (which I love). Previously I was paying $25-$30 for my shellac manicures and it's only $45 for both shellac and a regular pedi! For Regular mani pedi's they're $30 and the ladies there are nice and do a great job. The only downside is that they get busy and booked easily and only seem to have about 5 people on staff at a time. Their skills are great and I would highly recommend them as well as booking an appointment in advance in order to avoid any long wait times or possible refusal as they may become too busy. The price is well worth it and a great place for a student with a low budget to get their nails done!
