I had Md Mokammel Hossain as my driving instructor and he was amazing. He had taught me everything I needed to know and tips for not only the G2 exam, but real life situations. He was very organized and had given me all the practice I needed to feel confident to pass the exam. Before the exam, he had taken time to walk me through the exam route and what to expect, making me feel confident and ready. I definitely recommended him to everyone! He is great!

My driving instructor Md Mokammel Hossain was so helpful and explained things in a way that really made sense. I was always scared of driving but now I feel comfortable on the road thanks to him. I recommend!

I decided to go with AMB driving school due to the pricing not being too high and because the packages included classroom lessons, driving lessons, and the instructors car for the road test. I did the online version of the classroom lessons, which was packed full with important information that all drivers should know. For the driving lessons, my friend had referred me to Bob Karmakar. Bob was very helpful in teaching me general reference points when driving, such as left/right turns, parallel parking, and forward/reverse parking. Most importantly, he taught me to look out for potential hazards, so that I can react safely and quickly to them. Not only did he emphasize on safety driving, but he was incredibly patient with me and was always available to answers my questions when needed. Overall, from my experience I highly recommend Bob and AMB driving school for anyone looking to get their G license.

AMB customer service was fantastic, I wasn’t able to get a hold of my first instructor and they assigned me a new one right away. My instructor, MD Mokammel Hossain was fantastic. Very supportive and was very patient. As an anxious driver, he was able to tailor his lessons for my needs. Highly recommend him for lessons!

For the classroom part of the course, my daughter opted for the online, self-paced lessons. Although the lessons were quality, the online system was fraught with difficulties and we spent too much time dealing with technical issues to properly track her progress through the program and access required files. BOB KARMAKAR, her driving instructor was fabulous! His rappor with my daughter (and me) was easy and fun and communications via text with both of us was timely and reliable in between lessons. If we could do it again, I'd recommend in-person classroom lessons and I'm giving this school 5 stars because BOB was a superior instructor. My daughter passed her driving test on the first try!

I passed my G test at Metro East on my first try! I highly recommend AMB, in particular, my instructor Suleman is awesome! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and takes a calm and encouraging approach. He provided timely feedback in a constructive way, which made the lessons enjoyable. I used to be anxious about driving in Toronto’s traffic: Suleman helped me not only with the technique, but also to build my self-confidence. Thanks to him, I now enjoy a lot more driving! Regarding the class scheduling, Suleman was flexible and easily adapted to my availability, we communicated mostly via text messages and he always replied quickly. Regarding the test, he knew the route and everything that examiners look for, we practiced a few times, and the test itself seemed so easy that I was surprised that people complain so much about Metro East.

SCAM ALERT this school does not exist at this location, after paying for the classes online they ask you to go to another location far away on the Danforth……Husain was the instructor who is never available for classes.

Great school, very prompt communication, flexible instructors and fair prices. Just passed my test after few classes with instructor Mokammel Hossain. Started off as a fresh driver with no experience at all and now am able to drive on highways, busy roads etc.very systematic teaching schedule and Mokammel is always ready to go above and beyond for his students. Very respectful, punctual and skilled instructor. Happy to have been his student and with my overall experience with AMB driving school!

Great experience! My instructor was Edgar. I highly recommend him! He’s a good teacher! He taught me the rules of the road, good driving habits and also defensive driving. Especially in Toronto, being able to safely react to reckless drivers is a skill that everyone should have. I used to fear driving when I first started but after lessons with Edgar, I feel confident. I PASSED MY G2 test on the first try thanks to him! I appreciate his direction and support! I plan to go back to him when preparing for my G test.

Out of all the instructors I've had, Bob Karmakar was the best and leagues above the rest even outside of AMB Driving School at Yonge and Eglinton. I requested for Bob after see his many reviews and surely he did not disappoint. Bob helped me with my G2 exit into getting my full G license which I was successful in.

Bob was professional, resourceful, and most of all, friendly; the experience while learning was enjoyable and not uncomfortable. He's very communicative on when he'll be arriving for lessons, has resources ready at hand such as visuals to assist with certain concepts, and has a fun personalized manner in delivering everything.

I would highly recommend him as your instructor who you can specifically request for.

Bob was a great in-class instructor but it was very difficult to schedule and keep appointments with the in-car instructors. I had to switch instructors after my first instructor "no showed" twice without apology. My appointment times were constantly changed last minute (right before my lesson was to start) or I felt bullied into moving my schedule around when my instructor would show up a few hours earlier than originally agreed upon. Otherwise, the quality of in-car practice was acceptable.

Successfully passed my G2 test during my first try. AMB driving and my instructor Bob provided clear directions and advice and were patient and calm during lessons! Highly recommend!

I passed my G2 all thanks to my driving instructor Alkadi (Khalid). He was super friendly, kind, and made my first time driving smooth, comfortable, and confident. I can't thank him enough, he truly is an incredible teacher.

I recently passed my G2 road test with flying colours. My instructor, Mark, was very thorough in teaching me the safe driving practices that examiners look for on the test. If you apply what he tells you, it's guaranteed that you will pass with ease. I also appreciated the fact that he was extremely quick and responsive every time I wanted to book another lesson with him. I got my G2 and my instructor was Mohan. He is amazing for someone who is new at driving and doesn’t know a thing. He is very good in making sure you are confident enough behind the wheel and gives very clear technical instructions to follow. Would definitely recommend going for him if you are looking to learn from scratch or otherwise.

I took my G2 test today at Metro East and i did past for the first attempt. I thank Mark Mohan so deeply for the quality of his teaching skills. He makes you prepare to pass your test. With me zero experience behind the wheels with all anxiety and nervousness at the very first time Mark did an unexplainable effort for me to get my confidence up to end. He makes me drive on the hi-way, in other words to give me pressure and fight for my fears. On the other hand, he is an amazing, knowledgeable and funny instructor. He gives you so many tips on how to do different parkings perfectly, rules on the road and many more.

Mati is EXCELLENT! Before my lessons with him I was terrified of side swiping other cars while passing. He took his time, explained every maneuver clearly, and was extremely patient and motivating. I passed my G2 easily and was not nervous for it at all!

AMB Eglinton: My experience with the classroom and in-car driving lessons were great! The classroom was good at instilling safe and smart driving that you will later take on your in-car driving lessons and later, actual driving. Worth the penny! Got very lucky with my driving instructor, Mark Mohan. He's gentle and becomes really strict where needed. I also like that he's very honest with his assessment of my skills- trust when he says you're ready and when you're not ready! Thank you Mohan!

I am so glad that I came to this school when I wanted to learn how to drive and have the confidence to take G2. G2 is notorious for its difficulty level and coupled with driving anxiety, it can be quite a challenge. But all this faded away quickly when I had my first class with Bob Karmakar. He is a magician when it comes to teaching.

I started my classes with him after the 1st lockdown and we went into lockdown again before my G2 test so there was a lot of coordination that needed to happen. At no point, did I feel like I was wasting his time or that this coordination is not important to him. When the rules allowed the classes to take place again (sometime in July 2021), Bob was unavailable but he offered the services of his daughter, Parijat Karmakar. Like father, like daughter - Parijat is a wonderful and a calm teacher. Both of them are relaxed passengers who teach you tips & tricks and all the rules you need to know. They are extremely respectful and go along with your personality as is (I am very talkative as you can glean from this review but they were both engaged with me at all times). I got my G2 in the first go and I was confident that I would because I learnt from Bob and his mini-me, Parijat. Thank you so much guys!

Bob Karmakar is the BEST instructor you could ever find in Toronto. I took my G2 lessons with him and he helped me slowly gain confidence in my driving. He is a stickler for rules and teaches you how to become a better and safer driver. I'm adding to this review of the in-class instruction to say that the in-car instruction was even better! My driving instructor was Mark and he was excellent. He explains things clearly and patiently, and definitely puts you at ease. I would recommend him to anyone, as he has a teaching method that would suit all types of learners, as well as extensive knowledge of the examination procedures - there will be no surprises on your test if you practice with him. He is also very accommodating and goes out of his way for students. My G2 test was this morning and I'm happy to say that I passed (and this was my first road test, so I passed first time)! I could not have done it without his thoughtful instruction and tips. Thanks again!

My driving instructor, Jack, is very communicative and professional. He is very good at his job and I highly recommend asking for Jack.

I joined AMB driving school at Yonge and Eglinton with Bob Karmakar as my driving instructor.
Bob was simply amazing and helped me pass my direct G test with only 14 hours of car driving

He was extremely professional and went over and above to provide support and help me pass the G test. 'Bob Mobile' i.e. Bob's car has features such as speed display on wind shield which further helped ace the exam! The techniques that Bob taught were far superior and this is the very reason he has been on national TV news channels 10+ times.

I rarely write an review but this was such a great experience that I had to write one!

The in class instructor was good. He kept things interesting during the 4 hour classes. That's why I'm giving two stars instead of one.

My driving instructor however, was absolutely terrible and extremely unprofessional. He would yell and was generally unpleasant. During the middle of a lesson, we stopped by at a store where he was shopping with his wife. I did not pay to watch him shop. I should have contacted AMB to change my instructor right away.

The package I paid for included the use of the instructor car, so about one week before my driving test, I texted my instructor that I would need his car on that date and time, and he said 'Ok'. The day before my test, I reminded him again to bring his car to my location and he said I couldn't use his car.

He should have contacted me right away when he realized he wasn't able to let me use the car. Very unprofessional. What a joke.

I enrolled with AMB to get my first driving license. My driving instrctor Bob Karmakar was the best instrctor you could get. He is very patient and knowledgebale. Bob was very helpful in making me understand all rules of the road and his emphasis on being a safe driver is something I will always remember. I got my license so thank you Bob and the team!

AMAZING DRIVING SCHOOL. I called Shafique he gave me Naseer Ahmad Malik’s information and they helped me pass after our first lesson! Naseer was so helpful, entertaining, and informative the whole time. He helped me relax and concentrate all the up until the test. 10/10 would recommend. I just wanted to say thank you to my instructor Mohsen for helping me to pass my G2 driving test with the first try.
I had been practising a lot of course, but with his help and useful tips I passed today with confidence.
He is very calm and patient and he repeats tirelessly same things over and over until they are embedded in your brain. As I was driving with my examiner today I heard Mohsen's voice in my head: " Blind spot, back mirror, blind spot back mirror. Keep the speed at the speed limit Irina" and I passed. Lol.
