Ambassador Animal Hospital

To make a long story short, I have never been so disgusted in my life with the lack of compassion for the animals being treated by the lady vet. My Yorkie had a lump on her left hind leg and I brought her in for an assessment. She told me it was a simple fix and off they went. The dog started screaming in pain and that lasted for 4 to 5 minutes. It took every bit of self restraint to keep me from kicking the door in but I knew it would only make it worse for my dog. After when the assistant came in I emmediatly asked if they froze her which to me would have solved the whole pain issue. She said no. I asked if that screaming was my dog. She replied by saying we have 2 or 3 dogs back there. But she nodded yes. When the doctor came out I asked the same questions and got the same responce. The attitude around this clinic seems to be a who cares, and their smirks on the faces was enough for me to say, never again.
I transferred to a more caring clinic where my dogs best interest comes first and there is no lack of compassion for your pet. On the invoice at the top of the page it says
" We Are Passionate About Compassionate Care". I find that statement to be totally false. I just hope that no other animal will never have to face the same uncompassinate treatment that mine had to face.

We found a cat and the staff were very friendly. The ladies brought us in to get the cat scanned for a microchip. We were in and out no problem.

Are dog had eye surgery there on both eyes the doctors and staff were amazing they were caring and helpful after the surgery and they did not charge extra for after surgery appointments they remove growths on both eye lids and they have heal perfectly if you care about your animals then this is the place to go.

I give them a 3 star review only. 1star for politeness- 1star for adhering to the covid restrictions. The service was at par at best, for every day issues they're a good place to go but for life threatening issues I'm not impressed.

All the staff is lovely, knowledgeable and very understanding. Great care without pressure and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this clinic!

Love how you delete any bad comments to try to make you guys look any better. Disgusting vet and veterinarians. Shame on you.

Great place for my doggie since his birth? Dr Sekhon has always been patient, caring & proactive with his doggie patients. I know many who are regulars for their pets for a decade or longer. Their pets always seem happy & well looked after by Dr Sekhon as well. Lovely place very accessible distance from my home too.

I read the reviews but still called to get my cat spayed,
I thought people exaggerated but thats what happened to me.

Over the phone: “blood test is 120$ but it is optional”,
Made the lady confirm that it was optional 3 times over the phone

At the day of my pet’s surgery the vet was like “I can’t do the surgery without the blood work”
And thats how we were charged an extra 120$

I took my dog here to be neutered. I was nervous despite it being a pretty regular procedure. The staff were so empathetic towards me as well as my puppy and assured me he’d be taken care of. I called at noon to check in on him and was told he was curdled up and cuddling with a vet tech on the floor <3 I’m so glad my little guy was taken such good care of. They even called the next day to check in on him. Such a lovely experience! Thank you!

Amazing, professional and empathetic. All of you were so great with us when we had to put Cookie down. Even with the covid restrictions at the time, you gave us our space and all the time we needed. We lost our boy/ brother/ uncle, a hard time for my family and you made it so much easier. I also have to say,
love my paw prints. Cookie is running n playing pain free with his mom and nana we miss him so much

Staff have always been very nice and compassionate. I also appreciate that they'll be very direct with you instead of trying to trick you into spending money unnecessarily.

We just brought our bull mastiff in for the first time. The staff was wonderful. We wanted to get her heartworm test but didn't know it was now not in season so instead of just taking the money, they suggested wait until spring which I was pleased about. Our girl has severe anxiety and usually gets really anxious around the vet. She was so calm. Im just over the moon with them.

These people in here are GREAT. But I wont be back in there again after having to put my best friend down there wont be any more pets for me as it's to hard.

Every vet I've been to in Windsor has only cared about the money (Lauzon, Walker, etc). Ambassador separates themselves. They are kind, knowledgeable and fair. When I was calling to find out if my dogs symptoms were something to worry about Ambassador was the only vet who would answer my question over the phone, and gave me advice on what to do at home, without me bringing my animal in for the vet fee. They are always trying to do the best for your pet without breaking your bank. I've been to many vets, ambassador is the only vet I trust with my loving companions! As long as it stays this way, I'll never go elsewhere!

I drove an hour to Windsor to see this vet because my current vet told me my kitten's eye needed to be taken out due to it being damaged behond repair (the kitten had a scratch on his eyeball which got infected. They gave me steroid drops for his eye which caused the kitten pain and damage to his eye. They did not thoroughly check to see if his eye was scratched before prescribing the drops). The vet's at ambassador were excellent! They treated my kitten's eye and managed to save the eye. If it weren't for them my kitten would have had to undergo an unnecessary costly surgery. They are now my vet's and I'm so thankful. The drive is worth it for the best care!

The techs seemed quite friendly. I was very disappointed that the vet didnt try to introduce herself to my dogs to put them at ease. Made the whole visit a lot harder than necessary.

This place is wonderful. They are very polite and compassionate. The vets are very knowledgeable. The building is very clean and organized. I will always bring my pet here when needed!

All of the staff is very friendly and you can clearly see the compassion they have for their clients loved ones. 100% the only vet I will be using for my pets.

Staff went over and above the call of duty to ensure my dog was well taken care of. They were very polite and accommodating to me and took excellent care of my dog. I would highly recommend Ambassador Animal clinic.

First off I only rated them 1 star because that was my only option to write this review. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this vet to anyone who loves their pet. I had taken my little dog in there was something wrong with his foot. Vet tech informed me my dog was in pain but basically nothing to be concerned about. After a few days clearly I could see no change in my dog. He was still walking on three legs. So I brought him to another vet. Only to find out that if I had waited much longer he would then have to have had his foot amputated. I also found out that my dog has a heart murmur. The new vet was surprised I hadn't been told about it before now. As far as I'm concerned Ambassador vet's staff is incompetent. So please if you love your pet as much as I love mine take th elsewhere.

Absolutely the best hands down. He saved my jack russel when everyone else threw their hands in the air and wrote him off and couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. He did other tests to find the problem and put him on the path to health. 10 years later he's still with me. When my greyhound had bone cancer, it was Paul who came to my house when it was time to send her on her final journey. The compassion of Paul and the entire staff is amazing. They call the next day after a visit and ask how your furry family member is. He answers your questions and explains things in a way you can easily understand and he gives discounts when you become a loyal customer. He doesn't do anything that will cost you extra. Even without the discounts his prices are more than fair. I won't take my furry kids anywhere else. I've already found the best.

Took my girl there to get her cherry eye fixed, paid over a $1000, and its now bigger then it was before she went in for the surgery, when i spoke with the vet he told me he would fix it again for another $1000? !? !? WTF

The staff are polite and professional and very friendly and helpful. They saw my cat with very short notice and quickly addressed the issue and treated her. They call back later to check up on your pet and answer any of your questions or concerns.
