Great response, competitive price, and a job well done.
I know when I need heating and cooling solutions this is the only place I need to call. I am a repeat customer and after having a new furnace installed today I’m reminded why I keep coming back.

I had Ambassador Dearie install a Goodman AC unit two weeks ago.
Bob arrived at my door within two hours of my calling for an estimate. Within 15 minutes, he had sized-up the job, written an honest and competitive quote, and, he explained the proposal, the warrany, and the installation process in detail. I had already received quotes from other contractors prior to Bob's arrival. Bob's quote was the best, so I signed the order right away. I was contacted 1 hour later by the office, and the installation was scheduled for the next working day!
The crew arrived early and replaced the entire AC system in about 2 hours flat. The two technicians were nothing short of amazing. They were courteous, tidy and proficient.
I highly recommend Ambassador Dearie for any HVAC installation.
On a related note - I had a high-efficiency Goodman furnace installed in my home, and it has performed flawlessly for over 9 years. Shout-out to Goodman!

Not this company, this company will say hey my supervisor is going call you back, but he never called.the compressor of my air conditioning is totally broken after 2 years of using.i bought my house with richcraft and the air conditioning was installed by this company.do not ever have business with this one, no no no

I called Ambassador when my air handler fan stopped working. Mine was a retired model and parts were not available from the manufacturer. They tried with another brand that fit but it still wasn't functioning properly so I decided to purchase a new one. Their pricing was competitive.and the installers were very professional. They cleaned up when the job was done. I love my new air handler!

New build home.
Furnace installed for the builder by ambassador dearie.

After I got possession of the home ambassador dearie helped me to register my new furnace with the manufacturer to extend the manufacturer warranty to 10 years.

Had a small hiccup with the registration and the owner Robert helped solve the problem in a timely manner.
Very professional and really cares about his customers, including the customers who have a bought a new home that comes with their furnace preinstalled.

Great company. If you have any problems give them a call and they will help you out.

We were told that the problem with our AC was the sensor. We told the technician that our thermostat setting also kept changing by itself (set to 23 and then after few minutes would be 29) he said the problem was the sensor inside thr AC unit and that our thermostat is fine. So after a week or so of following up, we were told that they cannot do anything as the sensor part was still on back order. Following week they told us the technician who would do it was on vacation. And now that we became frustrated as it was 31C inside our home, we were informed that it was not the sensor that was broken, basically we were waiting for a back order part that was not even needed. They did not explain more on what was actually wrong and said they will check and do another service as the 1st one might be wrong. So I guess another service charge and waiting?

Update: technician came and diagnosed again and fixed it. Our house never became cold (reached set temp) despite having our aC run thr whole day. And no aC stopped working all together.

I have had several issues with my AC unit in my townhouse and these guys have been perfect in resolving them. The first time I contacted them it was for my AC not turning on or working properly. The technician who came inspected it and told me that I am missing some cylinders. Upon further investigation, he told me that I only needed to purchase fewer than expected so I appreciate his honesty. The second time was also for a similar problem and the technician showed me that the air filters were dirty and needed to be cleaned. He then showed me where they were located in the ceiling in case I needed to clean them myself. Kudos to them and will be contacting again if I ever run into any issues.

The technicians who installed the a/c unit did a spotless job. They were careful not to damage anything when working inside and outside and the unit they installed works very well.

I had to replace my home's natural gas furnace but it wasn't an emergency so I was able to shop around. I received quotes from the best-known furnace repair and installation companies in Ottawa that supplied Lennox equipment. The Ambassador Dearie was SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive as compared to any of the other companies for EXACTLY THE SAME equipment! And the installation of the equipment itself was quick, thorough, and entirely professional without any hidden fees or unexpected problems. In fact, the installer was able to recommend a solution to an installation challenge that resulted in a better exhausting than what was installed previously.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ambassador Dearie.

$500/hour to change a gas valve under warranty ($150 diagnostic is mandatory)!
Edit: A service guy came and fixed the furnace problem, it was a valve. The service guy was VERY PROFESSIONAL and I'm satisfied with his work. I'm not satisfied with the price I paid though. $150 for the diagnostic, that's fine, but another $300 bucks on labour to change the valve which was under warranty is theft. I had no other choice because gas was leaking for 2 days in my home. Be sure to call and ask other HVAC companies before you commit with Ambassador. The furnace is under warranty and you can you use different HVAC companies to service it not only the company who has done the installation. Total after taxes was $500 for less than 1 hour work in total. Go figure out. 1 star and I'll make sure not to do bossiness together ever again.
The call centre guy (4pm, Sat 6 March) is awful. He talks like a robot, when you ask him when will the technician call me (I have a gas leak and calling for the 3rd time today. 8 hours and no show up yet) he says as soon as he can. And when I ask again if it's today, tomorrow or in 3 days he says: as soon as he can, then proceeds to hang up on me.
The furnace it's still under warranty and it's like -10 outside so what should I do? Turn off the furnace? Die from gas asphyxiation? The call centre guy was the mos disrespectful piece of I've ever talked to in my 5 years here in Canada. You don't hang up on clients when they need you.

Don't trust this company for HVAC needs!
Charged me nearly $500 for replacement part under warranty. Never told me to expect any labour charges or explained procedure on pricing when called to book appointment.
Only told when technican showed up and my hands were tied as I needed my furnace fixed.
Even after talking to manager to see if this was a mistake and to request an explanation of charges.only to be told "industry standard rates to cover costs for parts, vehicles and employees".
Highway robbery if you ask me!

Clearly I was taking advantage of on my service call. Checkout their website where it clearly states furnace parts are covered for 5 years from manufacturer. No where does it state additional charges will be incurred for warranty work!

Don't bother calling manufacturer either as they will only refer you back to their authorized dealer as they want no part of the issue.
Vicious circle and clearly both protecting each other. Wouldn't be surprised they were double dipping. Charge home owner and get credit from manufacturer.
Buyers Beware.don't trust this company with your HVAC warranty work.

These guys are great, they had the best price and the guys that did the installation were professional they knew their stuff. I took a long time deciding on which company to go with the guys at Ambassador took the time to answer my questions. They were great from sales to installation to administration (setting up payment). Great company.

Original review was deleted by owner. This is a repost of the review: “Dissatisfied with the quality of service. My wife had called them to fix our furnace. She said that the technician was nice. But, when he found the problem to just be a dirty flame sensor, he just ran his sleeve over the surface of the sensor to clean it. Yes it worked again, but without properly cleaning the sensor with steel wool / sand paper / etc.the furnace stopped working again a few weeks later. When I took a look at the diagnostic lights after turning the furnace on and off, they indicated that the flame sensor was dirty again. I took out the sensor and properly cleaned it the next day. The furnace is now working better than ever, but this HVAC company did not clean it properly. It is either bad quality service or deliberate attempt to do a poor job so we have to call them again. Either way, they did not do a good job and I would look elsewhere for help. ”

They advertise ductwork and repair - but when you reach out for those services they write back and say they do that type of work.

I had broken my arm and just had surgery to fix it. A snow storm covered my exterior vent and my furnace shut down. High on pain killers I tried to shovel myself out and spark it back up, but I couldn't get the furnace on. I called Ambassador and the OWNER of the company showed up at my house. He shoveled me out and sparked my furnace back on. If that wasn't enough he sent a service tech a few weeks later to increase the height of my air intake so it wouldn't happen again. This company is amazing from top to bottom.

The installers were very professional, clean and knew what they were doing. They told me what they were going to do and after install was done, they showed me how to use the equipment and provided me with warranty information and a contact number in case I am in need of service. Highly recommended!

I contacted several businesses regarding potential issues with our ductwork (some rooms too hot, others too cold), trying to figure out who could help us. Ambassador Dearie was one of the only ones that got back to us, and while they themselves don't do the necessary work, they were able to help us identify who to contact and what to expect. They provided honest advice and guidance, despite the fact that the solution they proposed would not bring them business. Just for that, I would highly recommend them.

Had a great chat today with staff member who walked me through the steps needed to move my AC unit. In the end agreed that it wasn’t best option for me given the potential problems after. Will for sure look to Dearie for future work needed as I appreciated the honesty and professionalism.

Ordered a 3.5 ton new AC in the peak of the heat! Robert and his team came in and did a great job installing the new unit. When our original unit (ordered from the U. S) didn't arrive on time they came in and did all the wiring and came back the following week with a better unit (at no additional cost to us!). Kyle and Marc did an amazing job with the installation and also troubleshooted my brand new NEST which was acting up (we ended up getting an ECOBEE instead which works great!).

Robert was extremely responsive (typically within the hour) which is surprising considering this is the busy season for AC's.

We highly recommend ADH! Their pricing is competitive and the customer service is great.

When my wife and I built our retirement house in Westboro in 2015 it was a custom build without a general contractor (we had a tight budget). We selected Ambassador Dearie to plan and install the HVAC. Partly, the decision was based on cost but our project manager also recommended them. The Ambassador Dearie team was timely, professional and the system performed well. Our house was damaged by a fire in July 2019 and they still had our duct plans on file which accelerated the restoration process. I am very happy to recommend this company!

Found ourselves with no heat on Saturday morning with -30C. Went through troubleshooting using manual and did search for help online. No success, no lead.

Called Ambassador's service number. Details were taken with promise that a technician would get back to us.

Tech called within 5 mins of hanging-up with service desk. Number of LED flashes and error code were shared. Tech new right away the issue and walked us through the quick and easy DIY fix on the phone (. Blow through drain lines).

Issue fixed in less than 5mins, cost $0. * TOP MARKS * Would not hesitate to call them again when in need.

Had an issue with my furnace. Chris offered me some troubleshooting steps to help me get my furnace running, and it ended up being the solution I was looking for. The company was very organized and responsive, and their call center was able to later find out that I was under warranty and were willing to honor it as well, if I hadn't been able to fix it on my own with Chris' advice. He also offered tips on how to keep my furnace up and running smoothly. Their help was greatly appreciated! Will definitely look to them for any future issues with my HVAC.

My furnace was leaking when the air conditioner unit was on. I replaced the furnace filter, but it still leaked following this. I do regret waiting a few more days before requesting a service appointment. The evaporator coils were frozen and needed a bit more time to melt before the serviceman arrived. Nothing needed replacing, although he suggested I get another furnace filter after just replacing the old one. The diagnostic fee is a flat rate of $ 95. Apparently, this is competitive with other companies, but the service man did very little. I understand it will cost money - but a set fee does not make sense to me. Would have been appreciated to at least cover the cost of the new filter. Ridiculous.
