My partner is employed at Amica Whitby and he tells me about the awesome food as well as desserts made in house. He has nothing but good things to say about the residents and the community in general. This position has provided him with a balanced lifestyle and he can still do what he loves which is cooking! The facilities inside and out are maintained exceptionally well!

I have been working at Amica Whitby for the last 1.5 year. The team members are very good and caring about the residents. Amica Whitby is good place to live. They have a very good staff to take care of the seniors. They also arranged activities to engage the residents. Amica also provide an opportunities to grow your career.

I have been volunteering with Amica for 2 years. The training is very comprehensive and ensures that you are set up for success. Life Enrichment Coordinator incorporates resident ideas and dreams into real life opportunities. I got to witness biker day where residents had the opportunity to go for motorcycle rides in a side car and heard the excitement residents shared with having a resident wedding held onsite. The team continues to strive to create unique experiences to engage the residents. It’s been wonderful volunteering in a facility that truly puts the residents first!

I have been a manager at Amica Whitby for close to 14 years! I love the company and our seniors. It is an excellent place to work.

Best place to care for our aging family members. Incredible caring staff, dining room clean and amazing food selection. Great selection of activities depending on how active you want to be. I highly recommend Amica!
