I can't say enough about this delivery service. I had a 2 man delivery with Bryan Jr and his colleague. They were fast, friendly, professional and most importantly, careful not to damage any floors or walls. They brought everything up the stairs, unpacked, placed the furniture, and cleaned the packaging afterwards. Great service!

I had a great experience using AMJ Campbell. Having not much time between travelling & moving, I utilized the packing service in addition to the movers. Kelly came to pack and was very personable and organized, not to mention efficient! She packed up my 500 square foot condo in just a couple of hours and it was so nice to not have to worry about that aspect of a move.

Kyle + his moving team (Riley and Zi Zi) were communicative, punctual and efficient. They were running late one day but made sure to text me to let me know and made up for the time with their quick moving skills. They were able to hold my items on their truck for two nights to ensure I didn't need storage between my location closings which was very convenient.

Would definitely recommend AMJ Campbell for their full-service moving capabilities. To not have to worry about the stressors of a move is truly worth it. It is a bit on the pricier side so I do wish they had a lower minimum hours amount for smaller residences but that would be my only feedback!

Great experience! CJ, Gordon and Shawn were a perfect crew. They were careful, friendly, professional, and funny. Our house is multi-level with a tight staircase, but they managed to get a giant armoire up three flights of stairs. I would highly recommend.

The crew were very efficient in moving everything out of the house within 3.5 hours. There was no damage while in transit or offloading to the new house. The crew were friendly, polite, and responsive.

This review involves both offices in Ottawa and Toronto. It was an unpleasant experience, to say the least, to deal with AMJ Campbell on the international move contract. Some of the individuals I dealt with were not knowledgeable and were not trustworthy when they provided their responses and answers to my questions. Some would not tell me the truth when talking to them over the phone.

Please note that when your sales representative hands over your move contract to another individual, they will almost disappear and avoid responding to your calls and emails.
You will have to make sure the following is happening during the process of obtaining a price quote:
- Always make the communication with the sales individual in writing (email).
- Never agree on verbal terms. Always make them first made on writing.
- Should you pack your loose items yourself, ensure the price quotation doesn't force you to use their packing materials and service. It is only possible to make this agreed upon before the scheduled pick-up day.
- Should you opt out of destination service (door-to-door), you are only entitled to total loss insurance coverage. If you ask for enhanced full insurance, it is null and void by default. AMJ Campbell is willing to charge you for enhanced insurance without letting you know in a clear statement it is useless (you can't submit a claim the moment the container discharges at the destination port before opening the container).
Always ensure the price quote includes the estimated price for each service instead of using the terms "Included" and "Excluded". They use these terms to their advantage to either increase the cost on the final bill or never lower the bill if it is the case.

The rule of thumb is to let them come and make the assessment first. Don't ask for a price quote by sending them the details and a list of items you will be shipping. The numbers they crunch in first will likely be the final bill, if not higher. Estimates always tend to have a higher value to protect them from underestimating the cost of the services. I learned my lesson and will always have the other party come first and make the deal in writing rather than verbally.

I highly recommend this company. The moving crew were very professional, organized, clean, cautious and efficient.
Also, customer service / move management was excellent as they were able to answer all my questions prior my move and help with my moving date. They know their business.
No damages during move, everything was taken care properly.

I would highly recommend this moving company I was fortunate to have Adi and Nav as the movers for a larger sofa They had to carry it up to the 9 th floor as it would not fit into the elevator (no service elevator)
They went way above and beyond that which was required of them They were pleasant, worked well together and they were very respectful of my sofa

I purchased a bed from Urban Barn 2 weeks ago. AMJ has informed me they have the bed but unable to determine when it can be delivered. The customer service from AMJ has been the worst I've ever experienced.
The bed has been at an AMJ warehouse for 12 days and I've had to make alternate arrangements for my guests.
I recommend not dealing with any retailer who uses AMJ.

Very bad experience for my moving from Canada to France. Lack of follow up, no answers to our emails (except when it's time to pay, of course), 1 month delay without any consideration for the impacts. Impossible to have a date of delivery. Still waiting.
They don't care at all about their customers (they have so much actually so don't care about anything). If you can.choose another mover.

We were lucky (smart?) enough to use AMJ Campbell for our recent move and could not have been happier. The crew were hard-working, polite and very respectful. It turned out to be an incredibly hot day and aside from 2 10-minute breaks these guys kept going. I hope we never have to move again (this was the first move in 19 years) but if we ever move again it will be with AMJ. Thanks guys!

Our furniture delivery went very well, and Jake was on time as promised. He even managed to combine the 2 trucks load in one delivery from Toronto to Alberta.

The guys that moved me made my life so easy… they were the best. They were very professional in everything they did… They were a friendly and it showed they loved what they did. You left $4000k worth of furniture on the doorstep.and it was not explained to me by urban barn that there were two different types of delivery.

Having said that, I will never buy from Urban Barn again, as $200 for threshold delivery is absurd for a delivery charge

Experience with this company has been the worst when it came to moving. The people they hire as moving managers are so incompetent and they need to do a better job at hiring personnel to represent this company.

Dealing with their employees is so hectic nobody there knows what’s really going on and have very long response times or give you no responses at all you have to chase them around like Tom and Jerry and when they do respond they give you an answer that leaves you confused.

Whomever is running this company needs to get a grip on it cause they are so dysfunctional and unorganized! Without a doubt a horrible experience and that’s an understatement!

This company is so unorganized and unprofessional it’s mind-boggling to me how they are still running. They hire people that do not know basic customer service needs. My items has been with these people for two months now. My items have moved from ottawa and till now I cannot got a date to deliver it within the same city.

I was dealing with two employees named Harriet and Anubhav both of which they said will ensure a date and a time of delivery and both of which continue to not respond to calls or emails this is ridiculous. I highly do not recommend dealing with this company you will have a terrible experience!

My wife and I did quite a bit of research based on numerous factors and chose AMJ Campbell as our movers from the GTA out to Calgary. Their representative Coady was very professional and well organized and we decided on containers for shipping all of our stuff; collected over 48 years. The guys filled 5 containers which would be rail bound. We packed most of our things in boxes, but the guys at AMJ broke down and wrapped our furniture, packed our artwork and packaged up our sauna before loading. Everything was tagged just in case in order to track any missing items. None! Each container was sealed, only to be opened again at destination, our new home. At the other end, the seals were broken and our stuff unloaded. These guys took great care and even moved things to other rooms when we changed our minds where items should go. I would give it zero stars if I could. I've been trying to get a hold of someone at their company for over two months now and no one picks up their phone, nor returns my calls. I've left over 6 voicemail messages and still no one gets back to me. My sofa has yet to still be delivered because no one will get back to me. West Elm should be ashamed partnering with this logistics company.

If there was a 0 star option I’d choose that. Experience with this company has been absolutely horrible. Where do I start? First of all they took upfront payment to have my items moved from Toronto to ottawa. After they took my payment they haven’t been blurry unresponsive. They have an employee named Anubhav whom I spoke to and reassured me that he’ll find a date for me to move the items and then proceeds to not respond to my calls or emails.

Very unprofessional and so unorganized this is a joke of a company! They also have another employee that I dealt with named Harriet she also told me she’ll give me a date and the proceeds to go on vacation while I’m waiting for a simple date. I don’t recommend this company whatsoever

The moving team did an excellent job of quickly removing all the items from my home and bringing it to my new home. It was a really hot day, but they never complained, they did their job efficiently.

AMJ Campbell just completed a massive move from our century home in Rosedale, Toronto. Every step of the way was excellent. Justin, Sharon and Sty (from GD Packing) packed dozens of boxes with books, historic treasures, valuable paintings, delicate chinaware, and everything you could imagine. Then Mikolai, Jerick and Aafina moved everything to our new home, with lots of items going to storage. Everyone was a hard worker and very careful, and showed ingenuity when fitting the massive volume of stuff into limited space. Furniture was disassembled, wrapped in plastic film, and reassembled on site. Everyone accommodated special requests without complaint. Thanks to all the great people who made the normal horrors of moving a manageable undertaking.

My move and storage was great. We had a couple of small issues but nothing serious.
My problem is with the after service. AMJ offers $100 CAA Dollars as a benefit to CAA members.
We gave our CAA number to the Mississauga office last August, a full six weeks before the final payment of our move out. Then we stored our furniture for four months. When the move to the new house was completed in February and the final payment was made I was told I didn’t give them my CAA number on time. Once I proved to them I did they said ok.
It is now June and still no sign of the CAA Dollars. They seem to offer this program but have no interest in following up once they have your money. Two moves and four months of storage was not cheap. The least they could do is follow up on their end. Buyer beware.

To be honest, I do not move frequently, this is the first time I purchase service from AMJ Campbell. And I have to say, they are worth it.

Very bad place to work, do not work at this place. They will find everyway to not pay you for your work. You are expected to do alot for very little compensation. I they still owe me 5,000$ from over 2 years ago. Very unorganized and low value work environment. You can tell because of the extremely high turnover rate with ppl that work there.
