AMMA Midwives

10 out of 10 experience. If you can get a midwife. Na was amazing and listened to all my concerns. Had a home birth and they brought all the stuff needed. Got to have my baby a relax 2 hours later.

I found out about Amma midwives through my sister in law. I heard about her experience and it was great. So, I decided to have a midwife on my first pregnancy which was 8 years ago! That’s when I first met Salimah. She was the midwife that took care of me with all my three pregnancies. She’s very supportive, caring and knowledgeable. I love being under her care all throughout my pregnancy, labour and delivery. If I would have a fourth child, I would definitely go to Amma midwives and request for Salimah or Hanan. Their care is superb. Thank you so much Salimah and Amma midwives for taking care of me during my pregnancies. I will never forget this wonderful experience I had.:)

Heard about amma from my sister inlaw and I got spot with them, when I met my midwife NAA she was so caring and supportive like a sister I will forever use amma till I stopped giving birth, it was my first pregnancy and I never felt left alone wonderful people from the admin to the least person thank you amma.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Stay away from this place if you want your child to live and if you want to live. The incompetence is overwhelming. The midwife I had did not know what she was doing and I basically had to deliver a baby who should have never been delivered vaginally. When you express your pain, and voice your concern, you are ignored and when you want other options you will be told, « Your body will let you know ». These people are playing Doctor and my newborn son died because of their negligence. I had to bury my son this week and I’m warning other women of this place. Even after the delivery, when the midwife was asked questions, her answers were of incompetence and excuses. I did not even go into full detail in this review. This is my experience of what happened to me. I do not ever want to see or hear from these people again, but if other women can be saved from this place then my review will help someone. Go to an actual reputable midwifery.

Salimah helped us with our 4th Child. Had a lot of positives from her and the team. She helped as much as she can with our wish to have minimal intervention. Also, her experience helped when she recommended intervention at one stage of labor. She and team was present for most part of the labor which was a big plus and different from our previous experiences. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience with Dr. Hanon and Dr Salimah. Both are so professional and hardworking. I gave birth to my daughter in October 2016 on Halloween and she will be 6 year soon. So, Thankful to my midwives who made the whole process so easy. They answer each and every questions and answering the calls immediately. I really had a great experience with them. If Hanon and salimah reading this comment just want to tell you that you guys are amazing. I am so grateful having both of them. Thank you whole team.

Naa at AMMA Midwives was exceptional. She was courteous, professional and kind. Delivered our baby in good health and provided optimal care to him& my wife!

It was my 2nd pregnancy and first time experience with amma midiwives. My first child was an emergency c section.i wanted a VBAC this time.my primary midwife was Hanan and she was the best! Infact everyone including salimah and naquid were great! Hanan answered all my questions at every appointment so patiently and calmly. And later during delivery she handled everything very professionally.i had a successful vbac without any intervention! Im glad i chose them!

My baby was born almost 18 months ago under the care of Salimah. This was really wonderful experience. Thank you guy’s for everything.

I want to honestly say that I loveddddd my experience with Amma Midwives! I was with another midwifery for the beginning of my pregnancy and half way through I decided they weren't a good fit and switched- Sooo happy that I did. Hanan was everything. For my first pregnancy, it couldn't have gone any better. To be honest she was like having a well educated/knowledgeable older sister that was always accessible. At no point did I feel alone in the entire process and when questions arose she was always available to take my calls. Not to mention I wanted a Home Birth and she ensured I saw it all the way through! I would honestly recommend the facility and my midwife to any and everybody! I almost cried at my 6 week post-op appointment because the bond was soo real. I'm about to work on another baby so I can go back! 5 Stars across the board! Ya'll rocked! Hanan/Salimah- special thanks to yall.:)

Had the best and most supportive care these midwives could provide. My husband and I are both so thankful that they were there to help in the birth of our son.

If I could give 100 stars, I would. Amma midwives is the EPITOME of prenatal and postnatal care. Salima, Hannan and Naquid were of great help during my pregnancy journey. I cannot sing my praises enough to Salima who was there with me every step of the way. I was never in doubt about the care I was receiving and she answered all my questions without hesitation. The sessions were never rushed and i felt as if I had found a family support with her, especially during this lockdown where my immediate family was unable to visit as often.

The postnatal care was above par. I am very sure that OBs would not exhibit that level of care after pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy and I had NO FEARS during the entire birth, pregnancy and postpartum process. This is what prenatal and postnatal care should be like. All the hospitals and OBs should take a page out of Amma Midwives book. I appreciate all that you have done Salima!

It was a wonderful experience with AMMA midwives. All the staff members are so nice and supportive especially my private midwife Salimah, so special thanks to her. Highly recommended for all especially to ones who are at student status in canada. I am really grateful to you for your support and encouragement during the delivery and postpartum care.

Very polite and courteous staff. Highly recommend Amma midwives. My midwife was Hanan. She is the best. She makes the whole process such an easy one. Especially the during labour and delivery. Thank you Hanan, Salimah and Amma midwives for a wonderful experience
