Great place for a satisfying banana leaf thali! The wait to get seated can be long. However the food makes it up for it. The non veg thali has amazing mutton and biryani. Their rasam is perfect for a cold winter afternoon. The service is a little slow but given that there are so many people being served at one time, the price of the thali and a no tip culture, it can be overlooked. Definitely recommend this place for a good comforting lunch. Will come back again for sure!

Went there for banana leaf unlimited lunch. Great food and very friendly and attentive staff, special mention for Ganesh who took good care of us.

Food was really nice and also had food in banana leaf after very long time. The staffs (especially Naveen and Ganesh) at Amma's Kitchen have impressed me with their professionalism and attentiveness. From recommendations to prompt service, our dining experience was really awesome.

Their biriyani tasted delicious.if u are craving for biriyani you can go here.but you guys have to order more to fill your stomach because Their quantity is way tooooo less.

And coming to food color.for fish dinner they have added that green color food color where inside the fish also it's pure green as if the fish was born green same goes to chicken as well.

We have informed it to one guy.he said he'll check what they are using inside but no response after that.even if we call him to order he never show back!

Best South Indian restaurant in GTA. Loved the banana leaf lunch on weekends. Cost efficient and friendly staffs.

Food is exceptional. However, services can be improved. We had to keep asking for food items few times to be served. It wasn’t served to us until asked for, which shouldn’t be the case. So we did not end up getting a chance to try everything all dishes. I think all items are served atleast once (over an hour) until you want more servings of the same.

We couldn’t find an option to make online reservation. There is not website, no link for bookings. I guess you have to call them up to reserve, which is strange if you don’t specifically say so online somewhere. People might assume it’s walk in.

That being said, they did accommodate us after one our waiting, for which we are thankful

The name speaks for itself – "Amma's (Mother’s) Kitchen" – serving up great food with excellent customer service. We were impressed by the impeccable service from Ganesh and Naveen.

Called yesterday to inquire for reservations for today, they said they only take same day reservations and to call at 9am. Called today at 9, no answer. Tried both numbers listed on Google and still couldnt get Called back at 11: 45 when they open and they said all reservations have already been booked for the day.it's sad that their customer service is a complete disaster

Did the banana leaf meals on the weekend. It was great. Awesome food, reasonable price.

The pricing at Amma's kitchen is out of this world. Their filter coffee is really good, very close to the taste one would get back in India. In regards to the rest of the food, I might be a little biased on taste as the 65 was missing the base ingredients like curry leaves and green chilies. The kottu was not spicy at all even when asked to be made extra spicy. I think there is potential as the overall flavor is there, but sadly, it didn't live up to the expectations that have been set by the various tik tok / Instagram reviewers.

Amazing food, we came for a buffet on a weekend and every dish is perfectly made. Not like some restaurants where food is too poor for an unlimited buffet. Definitely coming again. Btw only reservations.

I have called them yesterday they told me to walk in but today they are saying I have to reserve the table. Very much
disappointed as we are planning for lunch since from last week.
