Ample Food Market

Zero customer service. Rude personnel. Not professional problems handling. Losing customers because of narrow market vision. A very nasty behaviour of cashiers. Anita - who is she? - did not even write her position in her email and stopped communicating when I asked her about her position in the store.

I took a red basket for which the cashier said it's ok
I was recovering from surgery
She was adamant in my pain with my groceries
The security engaged in a fight with me
I would never enter here again
I keep telling her I have permission to use the basket she grabbed and pulled it from me

Been going there for the past few months. No complaints. Walking distance from my house and has everything I need.

Not the usual grocery store I go too but I love it. Very welcoming, it looks good and new. Love the lighting and setup of the actual store.

There are no scales to weigh the fruits and vegetables, so you don't know the cost until you reach the cash register.

So I don't buy fruits and veg here.

The fish area is clean and has a great selection. The store as a whole is spacious and not too crowded, and going through cash registers was quick.

We like going here for the Buffet style food. And the amount of food you get for the price is excellent.

Extremely rude staff. I'm a very nice and polite person, im not expecting great/good customer service but what I do expect is not to be yelled at for no reason. Yesterday at around 1500, Mar 1rst I was getting some Chinese hot food. The lady behind the counter asked me what I wanted and I said the special and she prepared it, turned her back to me, without asking if I wanted something else and bagged my order. Once she gave it to me, I said I wanted a side of vegetables. She literally screamed at me "why dont you tell me before, before I close the bag! " yelling very rudely, I was in shock at her rude behavior. She never asked me if I wanted andything else and even so, that kind of yelling and rudness is completely unacceptable. I live in a condo close by and go to Ample a lot of times per week, every week for many things. Partnered along with the very very rude cashiers who literally throw your food and receipt at you, I have had enough of this place! I understand the pressures of a fast paced customer service job being in the service industry, However, I have to say, how this store treats their customers is despicable. Even though the store is in a convenient location for me, I wont be back, I have had enough of their aggresive rudeness!

Where do i even begin? They have an impeccable selection of produce, meat, fish, teas, noodles/rices, drinks and frozen delights.my food horizons are always expanded when i go here.it’s truly one of the best grocery stores i’ve ever gone to.

Fantastic store, a large variety of items to choose from. Prices are very reasonable and comparable with other chain stores.

Many items have lower price compared to other grocery stores in the same area.

Nice clean place. The produce is great. The fish is fresh so is the meat. And the price is good.

Better than Nations down the street! Ample actually gave me good customer service and helped me out and showed me which aisle! 10/10 WAY CLEANER, WAY BETTER.

This is now our store to go. Very clean and spacious. Huge variety of vegetables, fruits. Big fresh seafood department, a lot of meats, frozen foods. All kinds of Chinese food, anything you can think of is here. Cooked and take out food too. This store is a dream!

Located in the Rogers plaza. They have just as much varieties as their competitor just south of their current location. Products are fresh and they cater to our diverse community.

Parking spaces very narrow, near impossible to bring a car seat in or out. Flyer sale starts on Friday, yet sale items already sold out by Saturday. Will not shop here again.

To everyone who are buying stuff please check the expire date. Especially the ramen, snack and dry food section.

It lives up to the hype! Selection is phenomenal. You will find the most unexpected international foods available here for a good price

I would rate this store of 5 but there is one thing that was kind of off-putting for me. The seafood smell is a little too strong and I've got severe allergies to shellfish so going near the meat section or the poultry section you could really smell the shellfish and other kind of fish smell. Prices on everything is really good value compared to National brand stores such as Fortinos or Loblaws or Food Basics or no frills. One small thing I would recommend is to have maybe more spices from around the world I went there looking for taco seasoning or fajita seasoning and I couldn't find any

I bought Taro Rolls from the prepared food area and found it contained a white meat, most likely pork.

I don't eat pork.

The label should say what's in it. It doesn't have to be exhaustive, but labeled for commonly restricted foods, such as nuts, shellfish, and pork.

When I went back to show them the item, the lady shrugged and said they'd tell the worker and she didn't look remorseful at all, like she didn't care. So that's why I'm dropping this note here. Hopefully management will read this and make sure things are labeled correctly.

There are many reasons people want to know what's in the food. Allergies, religion, whatever the reason, we want to know. Will be shopping elsewhere until this is taken seriously.

Tried to buy wholesale here for my business, none of the employees in produce wanted to help me. They kept telling to ask someone else. Decided to leave. Terrible service. Drove 10 minutes to Superking Supermarket and they brought out everything I needed in less than 10 minutes. Don't waste your time here if you're looking to buy Wholesale, no one wants to help you.

I went there to buy crabs when all staff were preparing to finish jobs and went Home there were no other customers except me to buy crabs I chose big pincers crabs and paid high price but you treated me changed to cheap ones with very tiny pincers and much lower price when I paid outside at the cashier. You steal My money, but OK I Learn the lesson and I will never come back this so Ugly Place again!

I go there a lot and it’s beautiful and cheap! I went today and I drinked bubble tea is the best the whale bubble tea it’s cheap and good! You should try it!

When they first opened, everything was fresh. Now you have to be careful when buying fruits in pkg as they hide all rotten in middle. I never spend more than $200 in this store, found discrepancy in my account. Charge for $680.00. Who the hell spends that much in a Chinese store. When you use debit, it does not show amount to verify. Went to store and no one helped as none spoke English. Who can o complain to…

Similar to Nations Fresh Food. International food, deli, hot food, minus the arcade and kids playground. Prices are very similar, I guess due to their buying power, so just have to watch out to see what items they have on sale.

A fun market in town. Lits of choice. Prices are higher than no frills and Wallmart. The selection is unbeatable.

Welcome to the neighborhood I went twice in one day. Great experience I recommend to all my family and friends

I went there twice yesterday with my mom & girlfriend and they both loved it! It has so many new products that I have never saw before. It is exremely clean here and the items are constantly being faced on the shelves which makes the isle signifcantly neater. I find the prices a bit expensive on some items but that won't really stop me from coming here. It was bold of you guys to open with nations down the corner, i like it. Overall, I had a great experience and will be coming back.

You know what's great? A store where you can walk in and it isn't packed with people and there are tall ceilings and things look clean and fresh. What a great first impression! So much selection and everyone was super friendly. Props to Winston for making awesome sushi! Welcome to the neighbourhood and looking forward to returning

I can honestly say I love this location. It is walking distance from me, still a hidden gem so its easy to shop, and lots of great stock that I don't find at nations. Definitely recommending this market to others. Also, the bubble tea station is bombbb:)
