An Eyebrow Threading Lady

I have been going to Anupama for threading for more than 2 years now. She is absolutely amazing and a kind and beautiful person inside out. Each of their service is amazing with a very good and experienced staff crew who really knows their job well. Anupama is a pro with tremendous years of experience and she is a very nice person who knows how to talk to clients and how to get everyone a better environment.

I will strongly recommend this salon for anyone in the Durham region and in any region.

Trust me if I could give this place more than a 5 star rating I would! I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded here for a while with my mom and we are always happy with our results! Today I got a Brazilian and was very nervous because I’ve heard some waxing horror stories, but Anu made it such a comfortable experience and as a person with a low pain tolerance it was definitely not as bad as I was expecting! I can’t recommend this place enough, you guys are the best!:)

I was recommended to come to Anu for a bikini wax a couple of years ago and I would be VERY hard pressed to go ANYWHERE else, despite having moved far from the area.

Her technique and style are second to none and having followed her suggestions not to shave in between appointments, arrive relaxed and with presence of mind, etc my Brazilian waxes are SO quickly over and practically painless.

It is well worth the hour drive for me every time. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed in the service (eyebrow and tinting) received. First visit and certainly will not be coming back. My eyebrows look uneven, as soon as I stepped through the door my 13 year old daughter recognized that it was not even. When I realize that it was messed up, she tried to fix it.it got worse. I absolutely regret coming here. Now I have to wait 4 weeks for my brows to grow back in. $32 for this! I'm very upset. I use to spend $5 in Brampton and my brows were sharp and very neat. I don't know what the hell this is!

I have switched this to my regular eyebrow place, they never cease to disappoint me! They are amazing and their staff are really nice. However, I do feel their pricing is a bit high.

I have been coming to this place for the past 1 year and have never been disappointed with their quality of service provided. It is slightly on the pricier side but I prefer coming here because of the flexibility of booking appointments, their quick yet efficient service and always leaving feeling satisfied.
I was never picky about getting my eyebrows threaded from a particular place or individual but since I got my eyebrows done by Madhavi, that has changed. It is truly an art the way she works on the brows!

One of a kind beauty bar space. Anu & her team are super attentive & keep the space super friendly & very clean. I always feel welcome here, & always look forward to my appointments. With each visit, I have been able to relax & know my body is being taken care of. I feel like the visit is always a lovely escape at the spa! Today was my first visit here. First thing the girl was such a nice the best I like her talking style she was so calm and her work for my eyebrows was amazing so good. Her best work makes me to go again and again. Thank you so much for your great work.

Everytime I go my eyebrows come out amazing. I spent over a year trying places in Durham and finally stopped once I found them. I can only speak about threading and not their waxing. Very knowledgable when it comes to eyebrows and shape, I know have a game plan to make them even better!

The lady that was at Reception on Sat. Oct 27th around 2: 45 did my waxing and she did an amazing job! I was not happy with a previous lady’s work the last time I went for my waxing but this time around the lady did an amazing job! Like I said before, this is the only place I go to for waxing and it’s been mostly a great experience than bad.

The service is good but extremely inconvenient. This establishment relies on appointments which I was not aware of. Walking in at 12: 30pm to see two doors closed aka only two staff members working and to hear the next availability is around 2: 30pm is craziness.

I was encouraged by the woman to just stay but that it would be a long wait. If it were the evening it would be very understanding but considering its a weekday and it was in the middle of the day is very odd to me. They need to bring on more staff!

Eyebrow threading - the service was very rushed. Because she went so fast many of the hairs broke off at the tip leaving so many hair tips still attached to my brow. She cut the hairs at the beginning of my brow too short.

After receiving an email from the owner Anupam, I came to lower my review. I find it completed rude, disrespectful and unprofessional to email a client and call them a liar in regards to their review.

A direct quote from the email "I have been proudly doing brows for last 12 years full time and 32 years part time. I have used 100% cotton thread and this can never cut the hair on the surface. The only condition for this thread to cut the hair on the surface will be if it has been rotated on the fingers in a very particular manner, which none of us at my work place does. If the brow hair has been tweezed and are shorter, the thread wont be able to pull it out because of its length. "

My eyebrows had not been tended to for 3 weeks prior to my appointment.
