I had a terrible experience. The service was poor and I faced a lot of trouble with my insurance coverage. The administration and customs service were also unsatisfactory.

I'm probably the most critical person I know and yet there's nothing I would criticize about the experience I've had at Anatomica. Alycia is great, knows her stuff, and is accommodating if there are specific pain points that require extra attention. These days, I experience far less pain in my specific problem points (most specifically my neck) and carry far less tension all over. (Review edited in January, 2024, over 8 years after initial review, to fix a sentence fragment.)

The RMTs I’ve gone to are absolutely fantastic and overall I’ve had good experiences, however one extremely upsetting practice is the clinic will charge you for cancelling your appointment within 24 hours if you have COVID. My partner recently tested positive within a few hours of an appointment (and had only developed symptoms that day so there was no way to cancel sooner) and called to reschedule and was charged for cancelling, with zero regard for the circumstances. I’ve asked RMTs who work at other clinics and this seems to be a more unique and unfair practice. I’m not sure what the expectation is - that you attend your appointment knowingly sick and potentially expose your RMT and other clients? So while I’d recommend the RMTs here, I do have concerns about clinic policies around COVID and am strongly considering finding another clinic that won’t charge clients for COVID cancellations. It’s really a shame because otherwise I’ve had great experiences. But both of us being very regular clients who’ve also been cancelled on MANY times by anatomica and extremely flexible when they cancel our appointments last minute due to their staff being sick, this policy and interaction really leaves an extremely bad taste in my mouth. It seems to be an issue specifically related to management decisions and not the RMTs (who are all gems), but it’s still enormously frustrating nonetheless.

This is one of the best clinics in the GTA region, being going here for over almost 2 years now. Though from the outside it has a narrow entrance, the rooms inside are spacious and well setup for massage appointments. I’ve tried almost all the RMT’s here and they are all equally good. They have an easy to use online booking system which most other places don’t and it’s a hassle to keep calling to check for open slots, which is another major reason I prefer Anatomica.

At my 2nd appointment, Kathleen Funk, RMT and Osteopathy practitioner, did a reassessment. Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and massaging a person's muscles and joints. Osteopathy is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together. I highly recommend Kathleen.

Bliss! Excellent massage in a cute and welcoming space in a super convenient location- literally steps from Bloor and Landsdowne subway station. I booked a 45 minute massage with therapist Sarah Ribeiro that included cupping. Before the massage Sarah laid out the treatment plan after asking me about my concerns then proceeded to give me a flawless massage. She seemed to have an intuitive knack for pressure and let me know ahead of time what she was going to do next. The cupping was an extra benefit for my muscle tightness and I would recommend it as an add on to any massage for anyone who hasn’t had it and is curious to try.
I would definitely recommend going here as the treatment was first rate and their rates are extremely reasonable for the lengths of time given. Five stars all around.

If you're tired of living in pain and stiffness then Adam is your man! My neck, chest, shoulders and hamstrings were a complete mess. I have a demanding physical job plus I exercise so I'm no stranger to injuries and muscle strain. Adam did a complete assessment of my concerns and gave me the best massage I've ever had. My muscles feel relieved! The treatment was a relaxing and healing experience that I can't recommend enough! Thanks, Adam! =)

I had an amazing 60 minute massage with Melissa this morning. I hurt my back earlier this week, so I was very happy to get a last minute appointment as there had been a cancellation. I recommend booking early to avoid disappointment, but always check in case there is a cancellation. She asked about my back pain and dedicated the hour focusing on the problem area. I would recommend any of the extremely talented therapists and health professionals at Anatomica.

The service at Anatomica is superb, starting with the sweet, warm, helpful receptionist. Jake Head, physiotherapist, is incredible! He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. He empowers his clients by educating them on the challenges they're facing and helping them to better understand and treat their bodies (and minds). He works from a holistic perspective and he truly listens to you, your body and your needs. He is extremely warm, friendly, kind, compassionate and genuine. You definitely feel really seen, heard, understood and cared for by Jake and the entire staff. An excellent place to heal your body (mind and soul). I highly recommend Anatomica and Jake as a physiotherapist!

I first visited Anatomica in late 2021. Since my first visit to present day, my experience has been nothing but positive. The front desk is always welcoming and helpful when in need of assistance, the clinic itself is clean and well maintained, and the RMT that I always schedule with, Adam McLaughlin, provides the utmost care and treatment.

The professionals at Anatomica are exactly that. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient. Friendly. I have trusted these physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors with my injuries, and have always been grateful for the healing they help me work towards.

Sherif D.is an amazing physiotherapist with a specialized form of Fascial stretching. I noticed improvements after two one hour sessions. Highly recommended.

I love this place. Everyone who works here is a professional. Front desk workers are included. So far I had the chance to meet Annette Lambert, Melanie Tiburzi, Margo Iwaniec, Melissa Koziolek and Paul and they are absolutely amazing. I'm sure rest of the practioners who work there great as well, I just haven't had the chance to meet them all yet but I will I can say Annette Lambert is my favorite at the moment because she knows more practices.

I went here for Physio a couple sessions and Sherrif was very helpful with helping me figure out my lower back pain and exercises to help strengthen my way out of it. Thanks to him I am now more aware to where my weakness is and can move forward in my fitness journey. Highly reccomend

The prices for a massage are higher than other clinics nearby. The facilities are clean, appointments are on time, and it’s easy to book online.

Accessibility: There is a staircase to get to the washroom in the basement.

My first experience here was wonderful from start to finish. I called first to book and appointment and the admin was able to fit me in on the day I asked (Saturday). I was emailed forms and completed them before my appointment which made everything go 100% smoother. Sarah was my RMT and she was great, soothing, gentle and very informative. Sarah helped me relieve so much tension from my problem areas - I feel much more comfortable going back to work now.

Annette is amazing. She takes care of you and listens to all your concerns. I’ve been visiting Annette for past 4years and never has she provided less than amazing and excellent service.would definitely recommend to anyone looking for acupuncture to help with their concerns. Thank you!

Absolute wizardry. After suffering days of agony with a knotted back muscle, I was urged by a friend to try massage. In the past, I have had what I can only call “recreational” massages, and this experience was nothing like that. Margo was amazing. She explained every step of her process, found the problem in no time, and set about relieving my distress. Her calm, steady approach was so professional and reassuring. She followed up with some exercises to do at home to assist with some back issues that have resulted from sitting at a computer for hours. The whole experience was a positive one, from the ease of booking an appointment online, to completing the intake form, to being welcomed by the exceedingly warm and friendly receptionist, to allowing Margo to do her magic. I have already booked a follow-up appointment, and I’m looking forward to being a regular client.

Had an amazing experience here. The location is easy to get to and close to me. The reception was lovely, prompt, and knowledgeable. My massage therapist was Melissa who was a dream. She was smart, with great pressure, great techniques, and very helpful for my recovery. I'm definitely coming back.

As a former massage therapist myself I appreciate Paul’s Dziegielewski RMT’s fine work and intuition. Paul has been my massage therapist for more than 5 years now. Since the pandemic I’ve given up chiropractic treatments and rely only on him and my inversion table for therapy. Under Alycia Duff-Bergeron RMT’s ownership and strict Covid protocols, Anatomica has to be one of the finest massage therapy studios in Toronto.

I was referred to this place by my girlfriend who has been going here regularly for a few years. Staff are extremely professional and well-mannered and very pleasant to deal with. The clinic is clean and simple but definitely of an elevated quality. My RMT gave me good exercises to do post-massage, and I was so relaxed during the treatment I dozed off. I walked in this clinic by chance, having a very sore neck and was able to receive same day and very professional treatment. I have been a regular since then. I highly recommend Adam-RMT- for back problems. He is very knowledgeable and skilled with excellent bedside manners.

I have been going to Nathaly at ANATOMICA for Alexander Technique teachings. I enjoyed greatly every class without painful manipulations. I've learned awareness of a new use of my body in its natural coordination and postures. It's slow process and I'm very happy with the steady improvements from day to day if I'm applying the principals. This contributes to my general well being. Worked with Heather Mercer to deal with my frozen shoulder due to T2DM. She was really great, very attentive, and provided great therapy that was specific to my needs. Anatomica was very clean and professional, considering covid restrictions. Highly recommend.

It's all the things you want from a massage studio: clean, comfortable, consistently excellent service (and I've been to five different practitioners). Even when I go elsewhere I want to be here instead.

I used to regularly attend Anatomica before moving back overseas. It was always simple to make a booking online and even did well to accommodate when I once made a mistake in my booking. My registered RMT, Melanie, was always a pleasure to chat to and gave great massages. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a new RMT since I moved here. This is an excellent clinic, with very friendly staff, and great service. Will be going here regularly for massages. Melanie was great, we talked a lot about how COVID was affecting people's mental health and local businesses. Once she finished the massage she showed me some stretches I could be doing while I work.

The website also makes it very easy for booking appointments, and I was sent reminders often enough leading up to the appointment so I wouldn't forget.

I have been visiting with Amin Shafiee for the past few weeks, and he provides almost instant relief for the pain I accumulated during isolation. He is extremely knowledgeable and finds all the tension points without wasting any time. I've seen several other folks at this clinic, and would 10/10 recommend for any service.

I wish I had the chance to try out this clinic. I just moved in to the neighbourhood and I was excited to find a clinic that was walking distance. Called in to book for a massage appointment since chronic pain has not been kind in Covid times. Had headaches that was debilitating (which I understand was one of the symptoms of pre-screening), and was flat out refused treatment even though I mentioned that I have no other symptoms that checked out in the pre-screening. I understand they are doing it for safety but I wish a RMT spoke to me over the phone and listened. I would have preferred if the RMT did it and not the receptionist and another person who made that decision didn't turn me away when I needed the treatment. Ended up going to a clinic that was an extra 5 min drive but happily took me the last minute regardless of my one and only headache.

I have been attending Anatomica for regular RMT treatments for the last 4 years. I can say that their therapists are professional and friendly, and they are effective at helping to release everyday and accumulated tension, especially in my back. Highly recommended.

I've had nothing but great experiences with the RMTs and Chiropractors at Anatomica. Lately I've been working with Dr. Ali Manavi and he's helped me get rid of my back, shoulder, and knee pain. The office itself is very clean, all the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Couldn't recommend more strongly!

I was in Toronto for a week and booked in last minute with Annette Lambert - what an unexpectedly fantastic experience! She was friendly, attentive, and best of all, approached my concerns with multi-modality (needles, cupping, shiatsu). One appointment and my body thanks you Annette. I wish I had regular access to this obviously knowledgeable and skilled body worker in my home town!

I'm rewriting this review because the response from the office conveniently disclose my personal information on the internet when I only use my ID, I guess they don't respect their patient's privacy.

The office is brutal for no show or cancellation but not them being behind. No grace time to wave the fee or anything. I made a honest mistake forgetting an appointment. The office receptionist was not flexible at all and charged me half of the session fee. They also keep your credit card information so they can make automatic payment for the no show. I was not feeling well last time, I called them on the same day few hours before if I can reschedule, the officer manager said no so I have to drag myself for the appointment. I was punctual last before these two appointments, doesn't matter. One time I was waiting for a massage therapist for 20 minutes. What about my time being wasted?

Love going to Annette Lambert, I was an acupuncture skeptic, but she has definitely helped me a lot! She's very hands-on, and provides a mix of needles and other techniques depending on what's going on. I started having other services done at Anatomica because of how great Annette is.

Really disappointed with my second massage there. I was the last patient of the day and the therapist did a mediocre massage which did not address the area of concern. It felt like he just wanted to get out of there. He was gone before I was even dressed up. I emailed management the same day to communicate my concerns but never heard from them. They even charged my stored credit card without my consent. I will not be returning there and warn anybody to choose their RMT carefully.

I’m moving pretty far from the area and today I had my last appointment. This place is amazing - professional, knowledgeable and kind staff. I am going to miss Emily-Kate so much, she really listens to what areas you want to work on and provides feedback after each session. My massages always felt like the perfect mix of treatment and relaxation. Highly recommend!

I recently had a random muscle spasm, that left behind some deep shoulder and upper back pain. My boyfriend recommended Anatomica to me, so I dropped in to set up an appointment. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful when answering any questions I had. The facilities are clean, modern, and truly designed to make you feel comfortable.

I had my appointment with Joel (RMT), who was kind, professional and easily provided one of the best massages I've ever had. He checked in at various points to gauge if the pressure was okay, and let me know what to expect pre and post massage. Overall I had a really great experience and would happily go back!

Staff is extremely friendly. A bunch of recent grads with most recent practices, which has been more beneficial than any other place. Very clean, they ask you to take your shoes off at the door. Highly recommend!

Warm and welcoming front desk staff, and excellent practitioners. Annette Lambert is a fantastic, knowledgeable, attentive, caring acupuncturist and will help with whatever ails you.

The caveat is that I only got treated by Amir, but I do not hesitate to give this place the maximum rating! The atmosphere is very pleasant, all the receptionists were friendly and professional, I always got a receipt by email immediately after my treatment, and they send reminders the day before. As for Amir, I am so happy to have discovered him! I suffer from sciatic pain and have herniated disks that sometimes cause me a lot of pain and discomfort. Amir is training as an Ostheopath and he combines massage with some movements that I have found extremely healing and helpful for my condition. He is always willing to listen if there is a specific thing that needs more attention on a given day and he is extremely kind, professional and compassionate. I could not recommend him more! I have changed from my usual places, and always go to Anatomica now. I think I will try other professionals with time as well. My great experience inspires my confidence. Also: conveniently located on the Subway!

Anatomical has top notch staff and a clean, modern environment that is inviting and perfectly suited to banishing your muscle woes. All the reviews are excellent for a reason. This is a high quality clinic. Had my first massage with Joel Couture today and he is clearly a talented professional. Every interaction - booking appointment, front desk, and massage - was as good as it gets. Really impressed with Anatomica.
