Brought bike in for tune up. Looking for honest recommendations regarding bike fitting my form. Received those recommendations and staff helped to fit bike to my form better than what it had been. Staff explained how the seat post fitted and how it could be adjusted for more comfort. Staff helped to make the seat more comfortable. At end of day when I was picking up, staff waited to be sure I could fit the bike into my vehicle before end of their work day. Very much appreciated staff attention to detail and customer care.

I could not make the purchased silver one work for me. But all good as they actually had identical brass ones as well. Purchased a few (l have terminal droppsy) as well as some XL cut off gloves.

Dan did a great job of checking my Ultegra to ensure it wasn't in need of being replaced based on the recall notice. He suggested changing the lower bracket because the bearings felt a little rough. I'm glad I did. No more clicking noise and a smoother pedal effort.

Everyone at Giant was helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. It was my first time at Giant Ancaster and a great experience. I will not hesitate to make them my go to bike shop.

Had my bike for a long time and brought it in for tune ups to other shops and the gears never worked as they should. This shop did it right and all my gears work as selected. I would definitely recommend for anyone needing bike repairs

Best local bike shop in the area and i live 50 km away from Giant Ancaster. Professional and knowledgable staff is a bonus and can always get what I need and promptly. Never disappointed

The products at Giant Ancaster are great and the prices are competitive, but more importantly, the staff are attentive, friendly and the service is quick (i.e. Bike tune ups, products being ordered & arriving quickly). I won't take my bike anywhere else.

I’ve taken my bike a few times for service at Giant Ancaster and they’ve always done some stellar work! Also, most recently I stopped by to get a new bolt for my bike seat support and even though I didn’t have the bike with me, Dan and his team made sure I was taken care of and had the right bolt for my bike. Can’t thank them enough and I highly recommend their shop if you’re looking for bike service, parts etc

Not only are the folks at Giant Ancaster extremely knowledgeable, they are pleasant, accommodating and worked hard at giving me an amazing customer experience when I took our bikes in for their spring tune-ups. Giant Ancaster is a wonderful place. You can find everything from a screw to the bike of your dreams, but the most important thing is that it has a staff of professionals who will help you very kindly.

Ancaster Cycle is a great local bike shop with a long reliable record in the community for sales and repairs of all types of bicycles from basic cruisers to elite level racers. The staff are friendly and helpful. Service has always been speedy for me.

Above and beyond service! Highly personable and professional. The staff were very knowledgeable and were willing to take the time to walk me through using the quick release function of the wheels.

50 dollars! Just for handling my E-bike.

Terrible experience. Not only did they break some of my bike components, they also made me pay them for it. Brought my bike in to get a spoke replaced. A week later I received an email indicating that they had broken a component and I had to source it. (I can't comprehend how a bike shop can unintentionally breake components and ask the customer to source them and pay for them and charge for the labor to break the parts). I found these items available online with next day delivery. I came in to pay for the work that was done and take my bike with the broken components. I was told I needed to pay for the full service even though components were broken and the bike was not rideable. I was yelled at, I was called a thief. The person I was dealing with asked another employee to call the police and threatened to take me to court. After continiously getting yelled at I ended up paying and getting a bike with broken parts.

Had a new set of forks installed. The price was great and was done very quickly. I had a few questions after my first ride and they were very helpful with answering them.

Trevor and the team at Ancaster Cycle are top notch, would recommend to anyone. (Well, actually I did recommend to a cycling friend and after purchasing a nice road bike from them last year, she's very happy with the purchase and the buying experience.) From personal experience I can say that Trevor and his team are very experienced and know how to treat a customer in a manner that would make us, the customer, come back to his shop. We went in to look at Hybrid bikes for our teen. They had great options and fast and friendly service.

The biggest thing that keeps me coming back to Ancaster Cycle is that, when you ask a question, they aren't judgmental and know what they're talking about, and try to help you understand the differences between their products. When you ask a question about something you don't know about, they aren't chewing you out for not knowing.

Prices seem fair, and the service is always good. No complaints.

I recently purchased my daughter's first proper bike from Ancaster cycle. Excellent service, website is updated and I was able to do a curbside pickup safely. The staff helped load the bike in my car. Overall, very satisfied and was super glad they had that one last piece in stock.

Ancaster cycle has great mechanics every time I have been there they did a great job with my bikes. However, unfortunately I have had some bad experiences with customer service, on more than one occasion I have received snarky comments such as “are you sure you have enough Money for this” (likely because I am 17) and in response to a debit machine not refunding a second inner tube that was accidentally added I was told “If it doesn’t work this time you are the owner of two inner tubes” as a paying customer I have the right to not feel alienated when I walk in the store. These negative experiences have made me not want to return and I will be taking my business else where.

Mark did a great job helping us with a bike we bought years ago at Ancaster Cycle. Came in prepared to replace it but Mark made some adjustments to it and we're good to go for quite a while!

Trevor at Ancaster Cycled helped me pick out and order a bike based on the type of riding I planned to do and my Liv bike is perfect! They assembled it quickly and put on the additional accessories I wanted like a bell and lights. I love my bike and already started exploring the trails!

I brought my bike in to have my new derailleur connected and I had a flat front tire which needed a new tube. Trevor took the time to explain to me why the derailleur I had was the wrong one for my bike. He got me the right derailleur for a good price and all the work was completed ahead of the date they initially gave me.

Ancaster Cycle just repaired two of my bikes in a very short time at a fair price communication was excellent and very courteous staff.

Trevor and Dan are great guys and have always been there to help me. Over the years and as my kids have grown I have purchased 3 Norco's and 1 Giant, plus had another Giant assembled by them. I have purchased parts, tools and had repairs done. They are very knowledgable, they know the industry and what is going on. All-in-all, a top notch bike store. Sales and Service you can rely on.
