Great service. Very pleasant and helpful manager. Everything was made easy for me and I would very highly recommend it.

Trailer was there ready to go when I arrived and everything was in order so out of there smoothly. Drop off was simple as well. They are always ready to help if any questions and made sure I got the right sized trailer for what I needed.

Under duress, from the passing of parents, I rented a unit at this Ancaster facility. JD, the representative, was amazing. He helped with selecting the correct size storage unit and made no attempt to upsell to something I didn’t need. He showed compassion and understanding and was so helpful. This journey has come to a close, but I’d have no qualms renting here again. Thank you.

Truck was clean, owner was responsive, and the process was smooth and easy.

I rented a van and picked up some packing supplies while I was there. Friendly service, easy check-in/out, and did I mention the friendly service? !

My review comes in two parts: Customer Service and Equipment.

First, JD Allman at Ancaster Mini Storage was above and beyond. He did more than we as customer expect. I rented a truck and an auto-transport to move from Ancaster/ON to Calgary/AB. A couple days before the moving date, I received a call from U-Haul Call Centre telling me to pickup the truck in Brandfort (40km away) and the Auto-transport in St. Catharines 70km away in an opposite direction). I was really upset, because at that time, there was nothing I could do but take it, because I wouldn’t find a different company to rent the equip in so short notice and for one way move (ON-AB).
However, JD took the initiative and called me two days later and told that he would take care of it. And he did it. In no time, he set the pickup location back to the initial place, where I picked up both truck and auto transport. On the pickup day, he also helped me hooking up the auto-transport to the truck and explained me in details all the how to, including a link for the uhaul video. 5 stars for his Customer Service, I definetely recommend renting out at his store.

Equipment: the 20’ truck was ok, with minor issues: needs alignment and wipers wasn’t doing the job during windy rainy day (looked like the wind was lifting up the wiper and didn’t clear properly the deivers side). Be prepared to spend lots of gas as the truck is not fuel efficient. It is the opposite.

Auto-transport: on the uhaul website showed it would be fine to transport my chevy cruze. However, the AT had the side fender elevated, so it was just beside the car door, So, I couldn’t open the door once the car was secured. Even after lowering the side fender there was still a fixed part that blocked the door. So, I needed to leave the car by the window and travel with it open. It is ok for an SUV, but not for a sedan. Try on before renting. The AT did the service. 3 stars for that.

We would never consider going anywhere else for our storage needs. We have needed storage space periodically for the last 8 years and every time Adam and JD have provided the exact size required. The storage units are impeccably kept, the compound well lit and security cameras all around. Adam and JD provide friendly, professional service. Very good value and pricing and above all we feel our property is safe and secure.

We needed a short term storage unit to get our home ready for moving. I was fortunate enough to locate J. D @ Ancaster Mini Storage and they had exactly what I required. Dealing with J. D was easy and he was able to set me up quickly. Unit was clean and dry, no issues at all. There is 24 hour a day access through the pass card system. I didn't require any packing materials so can't comment on those. Highly recommended for storage.

Excellent service from JD, helped me find a the right trailer for my SxS and always has a cube truck when we need it. Storage units are clean and well laid out, highly recommend!

I recommend this storage facility because of their customer service and automated processes. I was able to find and pay for my storage virtually, and they provided me detailed instructions to get into my storage during hours when no one was on premises.

Ancaster Mini Storage was a thoroughly hassle free and enjoyable experience. I rented a unit for just around one year and had really great dealings with the management there. I had 24 hour access to my unit and the grounds were clean, secure and safe. If I ever need a unit I will go there again.

Rented a storage and Uhaul truck from Ancaster Mini Storage. Both processes were quick and easy to accomplish with JD. He is very adept at his job, and made the entire process very easy. Ancaster Mini Storage and U-Haul has provided good service and reasonable lease rates. We are very pleased with the personal service and assistance we received from personnel on site.

Way cheaper and more convenient than renting from Home Depot or Lowes to move your purchases. No pressures from that 4 hour maximum with huge additional time charges for additional time. Great service and clean fairly new trucks.
