Andrea is a fantastic teacher. She finds ways to connect with students that makes the learning experience fun and easy to process. Her patience and knowledge were a tremendous help when getting started.

Studying with Andrea was an amazing experience! I arrived at her doorstep after a long piano hiatus. In a short time, Andrea helped me regain my chops of yesteryears and even surpass it! A true pleasure to work with. Her passion for teaching is clear and her attention to technical development is also worth noting even for more advanced students. Hightly recommended!

I am an adult and a beginner. Andrea did a great job on showing me all the basics which had helped me to form a good practice routine at home. She was patient and cheerful when teaching and I felt much more confident playing after just a two months of period. I would definitely recommend her for adult learners.

Andrea has been teaching piano to my two sons for 5+ years. The experience has been overwhelmingly positive. My kids find her fun and engaging and she does this while being extremely organized, flexible, and professional. She makes it all look effortless. Thank you Andrea!

My daughter has been learning piano with Andrea for several years now and Andrea has quite simply been the best piano teacher we could have hoped for. It is abundantly clear at every single lesson how much Andrea loves teaching music, how much effort she puts into each lesson (and everything else she does for her students), and how remarkably good she is at inculcating a love for music into a young mind.

Her enthusiasm, patience, dedication and teaching methods are an inspiration to my daughter. My daughter absolutely loves her lessons, and indeed Andrea makes us all want to learn the piano. We are incredibly lucky and grateful to have Andrea as her piano teacher and highly recommend Andrea to anyone considering a journey into the wonderful world of piano music.

I am an adult learner and has been with her for 2-3 years now. Andrea is absolutely wonderful. She is patient and experienced, making her able to work with students' needs from different levels. My piano lessons have been both mentally enriching and therapeutic, which is exactly what I need from the music lessons.

The option of being able to take the lessons online also makes it easy for the schedules of working adults. Even though it's via zoom, Andrea's setup from her studio at home ensures that the lessons can be carried out just like in person classes. You also have the options to do a hybrid mode where you can go in for in-person classes once in awhile.

I was looking for music lessons for my 4 year old son who can be difficult to manage because of his high energy. Andrea's OCT background really shows as she was able to hold his attention with highly engaging and fun lessons. He would come home and immediately ask when his next lesson would be, and sometimes even count down the hours, day-of, in anticipation of seeing Andrea. Besides all of this, I appreciate Andrea's level of organization and timely notifications.

I signed my daughter Sofia into a piano lesson with Andrea a few years ago. I love to watch how much she has learned and grown. Andrea is a great teacher, very kind and friendly, well organized. She is not only helping her piano skills to keep improving but also her self-confidence participating in recitals.

My children began piano lessons with Andrea in 2017. She was incredibly patient with both of them and knows exactly hold their attention, through fun activities, games and music that catered to their interests. She was such an amazing teacher that I joined as an adult student in 2020. She has a running joke that she is the "evil piano teacher" but she is the complete opposite! She has an incredible knowledge base, can communicate effectively and is a lovely human being. You will be very happy with her as a teacher.

Andrea is an excellent and caring piano teacher who tailors the learning program to the needs of the individual student. I’m an adult learner who returned to the piano after a long time away. Andrea helped me to get right back on track. Her kind but determined manner of teaching allowed me to break some old bad habits and to develop some new good ones. Andrea is a wonderful piano teacher. I love playing the piano again!

In the three years that I’ve been taking piano lessons with Andrea, I’ve progressed further than I thought I could have. Her teaching style is gentle, consistent and fun, with theory, technique and music history woven in, and her piano knowledge and skill is impressive.

Most importantly for me, Andrea helped deepen my love of music by allowing the freedom to explore a wide range of music, and providing disciplined guidance to find the richness within each piece.

Andrea is a parent's dream come true! My son 5 years old started with little music experience and is now playing on his own and teaching me! Andrea is patient, follows the child's lead and always makes music and piano fun! I am always impressed with how she pulls in her other skills as a past school teacher and teaches so much more than just music (e.g. Reading, math, history, listening skills, confidence building, and more). We will be sticking with her for years and my younger one can't wait to start!

My 13 year old daughter and 10 year old son have been learning piano with Andrea since they were around 4 years old. Andrea is the best. She is extremely patient with kids and has a very good method of making music fun especially for very young children where they are taking their initial steps into the world of music and piano.

My daughter and son have two very different personalities and learning profiles: my daughter is very studios and followed the RCM curriculum with exams, theory, and technical skills and has just completed her RCM Grade 7 examinations with first class honors. My son has ADHD and is not particularly keen on a regimented approach. Sitting still to focus does not come easy for him. None-the-less, Andrea is extremely patient and has an approach that captivates him and allows him to explore playing piano in a way that keeps him interested and motivated, and allows him to explore his creativity through music. Although he does not take formal exams, he is also able to play RCM Grade 4 pieces, thanks to Andreas unique technique and way in which she fosters interest in piano with him.

I have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for Andrea, her adaptability and flexibility, patience and caring attitude is what makes her a great piano teacher. And her communication is outside of the official lesson hours are fantastic, and truly shows how much she cares for her students. I am thankful for Andrea for having instilled piano playing skills and appreciation for music with my kids - truly a life long gift!

Andrea has been our child's piano teacher for the past 5 years and during that time she has proven to be an excellent mentor. Andrea is clearly a gifted musician, but she is also a highly skilled, patient and caring individual who excels at developing lessons that are fun, challenging and designed to get the most out of her students. Over the past few years, Andrea has been instrumental in helping our child develop his piano skills and also in helping to build his confidence through piano recitals that she hosts over the course of the year. Beyond piano lessons, Andrea has also graciously offered her time to help our child with their academic endeavors. We highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking to introduce their child to the piano.

My daughter has studied with Andrea for 7 years. My daughter has learned not only how to play piano, but how to present herself, how to be organized, how to overcome a fear to perform, and most of all Andrea instilled in my daughter the love of music. As a teacher, Andrea knows how to find connection with students and motivate them to do their best. I find Andrea very professional - from the way Andrea interacts with parents to how piano recitals are organized. Andrea is a gifted teacher, and a role model for my daughter.

I have been taking lessons with Andrea for about 7 months and have experienced a meaningful improvement in my playing. I started learning via an app but realized after some time that while I could play the notes, my playing lacked musicality. As a mature learner, understanding the technical aspects of a piece of music has been very important. Andrea's knowledge and experience has added more understanding and depth to my playing. She has suggested numerous enhancements to my practise exercises that have helped me continually progress and move to ever more complex music. Her coaching and instruction gave me the confidence to begin my journey through the Royal Conservatory of Music piano program. I would highly recommend Andrea as a teacher for all ages.

I’m an adult learner and Andrea has been my piano teacher since 2019. Originally, I chose Andrea because her downtown location was close to my work and her background and experience impressed me. I really lucked out! I can’t imagine finding a more supportive, accommodating, skilled and knowledgeable piano teacher. During the pandemic, we transitioned lessons online and since my work has continued to be remote after all the mandatory lockdowns, my lessons have also continued to be online. I love this arrangement because it gives me the flexibility to continue lessons as a busy adult with a full-time job. I know Andrea splits her time between online and in-person lessons now so that’s just amazing choice for everyone. I’m so lucky to have found her!

Andrea is such a creative and patient teacher. My eldest child started lessons with Andrea about 7 or 8 years ago. She stopped after a couple of years and my 2nd child took lessons instead. When HE stopped after a couple of years, my daughter came back to re-start with Andrea. We originally started with Andrea because of the proximity to our house, but have stayed with her, although at a a different location because she has always listened to my kids and adapted her lessons to keep the kids engaged. Adapting to online lessons during the shut-down gave the kids a way to keep playing. I can't say how thankful we are to have been recommended a music teacher with such a passion for teaching and music appreciation, never imposing her own agenda. I have already and will continue to keep referring new students to her!
