Andrew & Emily's No Frills

Low food prices but every time we go, the selection seems to be terrible. I would say it’s due to supply chain issue but every other grocery store in town doesn’t have this issue. The quality of their fruits & veggies is not consistent what so ever. Their pre made salad kits spoil quickly and sometimes are all brown and gross on the shelf. If you’re looking for non-perishable and frozen food the quality and price is good - considering it’s in stock.

Pretty much the same as any other No Frills grocery store I've ever been in. Nicely located on the west end of Picton with a large parking lot made picking up camping food supplies quick and easy.

Great produce in a clean, bright space. A combination of affordably-priced basics and intriguing President's Choice products. I always shop No Frills fittest before heading across the street to FoodLand for the rest on my list.

I used to be able to make peace with some of the issues at No Frills—produce that is often tired and wilted compared to the competitors, perishable long expiry date products like cheese and cryovac meat that you'd occasionally open and find spoiled because they had presumably been left at room temperature for too long, opening up a frozen pizza that had thawed at some point and been refrozen—because hey it was No Frills, the prices were good, and even taking into account for occasionally buying an item I then couldn't eat over the long run I was paying less.

Since Foodland moved in across the road, though, they've really jacked their prices up to "compete" on price with the full service competition—but without improving quality, of course. Then you add in Loblaws Inc's pandemic profiteering and half the stuff in the store is suddenly twice as expensive as it was a few years ago. In some cases, there are now items that are cheaper at the nearby Foodland or Metro, which might come as a shock to people who don't keep a close eye on prices and comparison shop and almost seems designed to exploit shoppers who unthinkingly assume No Frills = low prices.

Not the best No Frills store by a long way. Younger staff are ok, older ones are just miserable.
Nothing incredible about this store. Smaller range than most No Frills, standard no frills prices and customer service must be an optional extra.
Andrew and Emma- no idea who you are but you have obviously not visited this gore for a long time.
Look at the top of the shelves for random boxes of items just dumped there.

Good prices, decent selection, nice organic/health food section. Can be busy, but just go on off hours

Place in nicely kept. Friendly overall staff.
Insulted about the cashier’s assumption that I may steal the hand baskets.
I’m from out of town, didn’t have change for the cart so I took hand baskets. I wasn’t allowed to take the hand baskets to my truck and bring them back.
Exemption and sound judgment should be taken in consideration in unusual situations.

Hopefully assumptions of the worst in people should not prevail.

Cashier was excessively passive aggressive today when asked if there was someone available at the pharmacy.

Yes, I'm aware it's closed. That's why I'm asking if anyone can open the gate around it since all the anti acids and over the counter meds are there.

I know majority of your staff are on the younger side and some are a pleasure to be around. Today, not so much.

Friendly and great to deal with! Andrew goes above and beyond to help his customers! We love dealing with them personally and with our business.

This store could use a few more frills if you ask me!

I mean it’s a cheap no nonsense grocery store. We picked up a prescription as well and the pharmacist was friendly.

#1 shopping spot for me. They have tons of stuff at good prices way cheaper then Foodland & Metro!
