The food here’s amazing! Tried their oxtail and curry goat take out. Fresh and delicious. Also the cake was delicious.

The place might be a little hard to find. Friendly service. Nisha is super sweet and friendly.

After eating at the Richmond Hill location for years we tried the Steeles location and the same AMAZING food. Enjoyed the Chicken Roti and tried their Doubles delicious. The new location also has a great vibe, so welcoming, staff super friendly. This is the only place we go for our Roti and Jerk fix, and now for Doubles. Thanks for a great Friday night dinner we will be back to the Steeles location.

The best ox tail I have had in Canada I absolutely love ox tail and hands down this was the most flavourful I have ever had. Amazing. Also a good amount of tables to sit and eat.

I regularly frequent the Richmond Hill facility at 10220 Yonge Street. This new location at 4801 Steeles Avenue West is much closer to my mother and allows me to pick up a few meals on my visits to her. The service was great and I will definitely be back again.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in the new Toronto (North York) location. The service, just like in Richmond Hill is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

Best Caribbean Restaurant in GTA! Have tried pretty much every Chicken dish on the menu, the Curry Chicken Roti and Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas are my favourite. Got to try their Mac and Cheese yesterday with my absolute favourite Jerk Chicken and trust me when I say the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. It was so flavourful and melted in mouth. The new location is just amazing, very clean and pretty to hang out with friends or to have memorable times with loved ones. The owners are very friendly and welcoming (rare to find that in other restaurants in GTA).

Omg! Tried their doubles today and these are the best doubles I have ever had. The green cucumber chutney is amazing. The puri (they call bara) is fluffy and soft. Never had doubles like these. Their hot sauce is to die for. Well, if you want authentic and amazing Caribbean food Aneal’s taste of the islands is the place.

Absolutely delicious is the only way to describe the food at aneals it doesn't matter if its Richmond Hill or North york you will fall in love with the food and the people

Have been going to the Richmond Hill location for years and so excited to see one open up at this busy location! Food is to die for and cannot be compared to anything else. Oxtail soup, jerk chicken, BBQ chicken, all the curries, and let's not forget the rice and peas, simply delicious and mouth watering. Aneal and his family and staff are very warm and welcoming and they really know how to be cheerful, kind and professional. Can't wait to eat here again! Totally worth it!

I was there for the grand opening and damn, I was impressed. I ordered a jerk chicken roti and I could tell the roti was just made. Always impressed everytime I visit! Will definitely be back. So happy they opened a new location closer to the west end! See you soon Aneal! Keep up the freshness!

My weekly visit to Aneal’s taste of the island in Richmond Hill is now a little closer to home with the opening of their second restaurant location in North York
(4801 Steeles avenue west) The food is everything you would expect and more truly a taste of the island, got to have the Oxtail soup then the jerk chicken with rice and peas. The chicken/goat roti is also fantastic (not to forget the island hot sauce) Great service and reasonably priced. See you guys in a couple of days

A great family and friendly atmosphere. The food is of high quality and the quantity is very generous. For anyone new at trying Trinidadian food, this is by far as original as you can get. Highly recommended!
