They took my boy in right away. Very informative while talking to me about him. Bill was reasonable for emergency services!

Came with my sister on Christmas night for her dog. Reception, tech and vet were very nice and thorough. I work at a vet clinic as well and I was very happy with the service she received. Very knowledgeable team! Thanks so much. We are going to make sure Wolfie gets follow up diagnostics at rdvm this week!

Fantastic service over the telephone, then in person. This seems to be the only vet in the region that opens on Sunday. Triage process also highly effective.

On Sept 7th I rushed my cat to this emergency clinic she was in labour and having a hard time delivery. They were able to remove the only kitten that was in her, however it was already dead.
The doctor and tech on staff both told me they were charging me $187 for the standard fee and $50 for the painkiller they gave my cat. When they cashed me out they charged me $392 well above what they said they were charging. First red flag about this clinic, no integrity and horrible communication.
Fast forward, it’s now Sept 8th and my cat is not eating or drinking and hasn’t since the previous day and has a fever. I called the clinic was told that they recommend I bring in the cat as they were concerned they said that the cat was not eating or drinking.
My cat sat in the back without being reevaluated again for over 5 hours still with a fever still hasn’t eaten or drank anything. I was encouraged to leave my cat and told that the doctor wouldn’t be able to see her for another few hours. I went home a couple hours later called for an update and was told the doctor was going to see the cat within the hour.
When I came in I expressed my concerns about the length of time my cat has been sitting here and asked if they have taken her temperature again at least to ensure it has gone higher. Nope we’ve been busy the receptionist said rudely. And we have more critical animals to be seen first. I asked her at what point does it become critical when my cat is seizing in the back. I explained the Tech told me how dangerous it can be for a cat to not eat anything for 24 hours or more and how it can cause the cat to go downhill very quickly.
This receptionist was the most ignorant unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in my 49 years on this earth. How this person has a job and deals with ppl with no compassion for animals is beyond me. She told me that since I’m implying that they are neglecting my cat that she thinks I should take my cats somewhere else. I told her I would like to speak to a doctor or a tech and she refused to let me speak to someone and got my cat and told me to leave or she would call the cops.
I am horrified how vile and inconsiderate and no lack of compassion this outfit has for pets and their owners. Absolutely ZERO EMPATHY, absolutely deplorable that you would hire such inhumane disgusting unprofessional ppl as the face of your business.
My cats temperature is now higher than what it was 5 hours ago and she never was seen by a doctor because this disgusting individual thought she was a powerhouse and could refuse my precious innocent animal treatment.
Trust me I will not rest until I tell my story on every social media platform there is to warn ppl not to bring their loving pets to this uncaring place. And I can bet my pay check that the review just before mine on here involved the same ignorant girl I dealt with tonight. I will also be making a formal complaint to the college of veterinarians of Ontario and I encourage anyone else who has had issues with this clinic where they mistreat the care of these sick animals and their owners to complain to the College of Veterinarians of Ontario as well. And if you are the owner of this clinic - for the integrity and reputation of ur clinic I would strongly recommend you get rid of the young blonde girl at the front desk who is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional ASAP before she destroys your practice.

I wanted to thank the AEC staff for their help and compassionate care of our little furry guy. They were swift in their actions and showed real care and thoughtfulness of our pet. They were always carefully explained the various options and made sound suggestions. When the difficult decision had to be made they gave us a few options and their kindness and sympathy was very evident. Thank you AEC for your help and guidance at a very difficult time.

Every single staff member was phenomenal and was extremely professional and kind. You can tell they have a love for these babies. I have been here twice now and as much as nobody likes pet hospitals due to circumstance, I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Thank you for making some of our hardest days just a little bit easier with your compassion.

Everyone was so attentive and respectful. I got some great advise when I was at my worst. Scared and unsure what was happening to my dog. Thank so so much. You put my mind and heart at ease.

My pug had allergic reaction at night and they treat her very sufficient and professional. The most important thing is you don't need to book an appointment. You only need to call in first and creat your pet's file if they don't have one. The price is fair and reasonable.update after 2 yrs, my frenchie had the same issue - severe allergic reaction at night and she went through the same procedure as my pug did 2 yrs ago.still, sufficient professional and fair price.

Fabulous! My pup was treated within w hours on a very busy Saturday. They were all attentive, professional and loved my fur queen.
Pup was very ill and needed help. They calmed me down. They cared for her. They are amazing. Sent all notes to our vet for follow up. $350 for emergency help that would have cost at least that much at regular vet. Bargain to save pooch.

My dog potentially had an obstruction in her small intestine, and our vet recommended we bring her to this clinic so they could keep her on fluids overnight and do another X-ray. Overall our experience here was great. We were greeted by friendly receptionists, and Dr. Rob was thorough and happy to answer all of our questions without rushing us. We really appreciate the help this clinic gave to our dog! Thank you!

Had an emergency with my Doberman/Rottweiler cross, Riley on Saturday pm. From the time they answered the phone they were professional, understanding and compassionate. Staff even helped me get Riley out of the car once I arrived. Dr. Karen Jung is amazing; gave Riley a very thorough assessment and presented all options and choices. I felt very confident in her diagnosis. The vet tech was kind and explained the medications well. I was very thankful and appreciative of their amazing service!

Brought my dog in after he was acting strange. Person on phone was patient and helpful. Technician was also polite. Everyone was helpful and understanding.

My only complaint is that they aren't closer to me ;)

Worst vet experiences ever. The girls at the front desk don’t even help open the door while your dog is having an emergency, can’t walk and they see you struggling to open the door. Don’t properly transfer information over, and soak you for money. They want you to come back in multiple times so they can charge for an emergency appointment every time for the same issue. DO NOT COME HERE

I had to visit this clinic on Boxing Day with my cat that I had just got from a shelter 5 days before. She was having trouble breathing and ended up having to euthanize her because she was suffering. Dr. McCleary was great and the lady at the reception desk was awesome. Even though I only had her for a short time, I wa still grieving and they were very compassionate.

They talked me through some scary situations with my diabetic cat! I couldnt be mote grateful for the staff there. So patient and caring. Ive had them soothe my anxiety multiple times.would reccomend for sure!

On October 21,2022 I brought my rottweiler (Roxi) to this clinic. She had extreme bloody diarrhea, vomiting, drooling, lethargy, panting and couldn't walk into the clinic. Dr. Young evaluated Roxi and said that "something sinister" was going on inside her. She explained that Roxi was in a lot of pain. She said "I mean, we could do diagnostics but. " The amount of pain she was in and her senior age (12 I'm guessing as she was a rescue) I decided to euthanize. I was heartbroken. Within minutes, an employee came in wanting to know if I wanted her ashes. I worked in a vet clinic years ago and I know it's a huge money grab. I declined and said I would take her paw print. The next night I had an epiphany. She had EVERY SIGN AND SYMPTOM of a POISONING! I called the clinic and talked to Dr. Young. She stated "it's highly unlikely that she was poisoned. " I said "ok then, can you tell me what sign/symptoms wouldn't be a poisoning? " She then said "well I guess it's possible. " She was backtracking. ZERO compassion from this vet! Cold as ice! Please please please.if you're dog has these symptoms.charcoal is available. This could have been offered to Roxi if she had of done her job. I feel like I let Roxi down But. I took her to a so-called professional that didn't do her job properly. I feel sorry for ANY animal that she treats. I'll never forget this experience. Just be aware.

I had never been to this clinic and my 17 year old Belgian Malinois had a stroke. Unfortunately we needed to put her to sleep.
The staff was amazing. The receptionist was so sweet and kind as was all the other staff. Everyone was so supportive and truly went above and beyond.

The were absolutely wonderful here! I had to take my pup here for the first time. They were so thorough and just absolutely lovely to deal with

Brought my husky here twice, the staff was super helpful each time. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything, and all the technicians are really nice. Thank you so much for taking good care of Rocky!

So quick to answer the phone. When I was waiting I saw them run to the phone to make sure they didn’t miss a call. So kind and extremely helpful. Happy to know a place like this is available in the community

I cannot thank the staff at this hospital enough, everyone was so helpful and really supportive through the hard time we had we appreciate everything so much.

Kindly do not waste your precious time by visiting this so called emergency clinic. My cat was taken inside the room for some vitals and we were asked to be seated outside. After more than a hour, we were told that doctor is looking at other patients.
Sad state of affairs

Great staff and vet. Our dog cut her leg on a Saturday afternoon and needed stitches. Our main vet was super busy so we had to go here. Though there was a long wait, they took our dog in to check if she needed stitches first and then held her until the vet could she her. Good communication and friendly workers, they know how to deal families worried about their pets. I hope never to have to go back but if the emergency arises I wouldn’t think twice about bringing either of our dogs here.

Had to take my dog in for emergency and the staff was friendly and compassionate. I feel they took very good care of her. Answered all my questions and never felt rushed. As they cared for her they kept in constant communication and asked to proceed with tests and didn't push to have them done. Honestly expected thousand of dollars in vet costs but to my surprise it was under $1000. (Overnight stay)
I recommend them for emergencies 100%

As distressed pet owners, we would really have appreciated an update after you took in our anxious, sick cat to check the vitals for almost an hour and a half at 1am.
We had to decide to take our sick cat back home, in case his anxiety made him more sick.
We understand there were many patients, but this place lacks common courtesy.

I am overwhelmed by the compassion, respect and dignity i was treated with on my visit here on July 26th. I have an exotic pet which this clinic does not deal with but when i called about compassionate euthanasia, they completely understood and took me right in. They didnt let my boy Bentley suffer any longer. They got a room for us and after the procedure, they told us to just take our time. I want to thank you all for taking such great care of Bentley and my son and I. We were treated with the utmost respect and compassion, beyond measure! I would HIGHLY recommend your clinic to everyone! Thank you for being so understanding and compassionate. As hard as the whole situation was, your staff made it as easy as possible for us.

Do not waste precious time only to be told that “ we are not equipped to deal with this” and BTW we are closing at 1a.m after sitting in the parking lot for 5 hours

The staff were very helpful and informative when fielding questions about the process. The Drs were through and were open to answering all my questions.

Didn't have to wait a whole day to have my dog seen by the vet. They were very friendly & took great care of my dog. Would definitely recommend.

This emergency hospital and all of its staff are amazing! I have been here a few times and my dog has always been taken care of and loved upon. They always do their best to provide answers to questions that I have. I don't mind waiting when they are taking care of pets with urgent or life-threatening situations that take presidence over my stable pet, because those pets need that care. I am always thankful that my pet is in the best hands. I love this place. Thank you, team.

I am so impressed with the staff, technicians and doctors "bedside manner" from the very first phone call when we called ahead to see about the wait times, to the first technican who did the first assessment, for giving us the option to stay or leave our dog in a safe and cozy crate while we wait, to Dr. Young who called to give us her assessment and next steps, to even overhearing how the other staff spoke to new pet patients coming in. I highly recommend visiting here if you must go. You will be on good hands ️

After me calling them and them telling me to come ASAP in case of further damage to my dog as soon as I get there they say I have to wait 3-4 hours because there’s people ahead of me. Why tell me to come fast in the first place?

Our dog accidentally ate a long string and pooped half out. We were afraid of pulling rest of the string out by ourselves, since it may hurt our dog. So we went to this emergency animal hospital. Staff are super nice and compassionate! They resolved the problem fast, luckily the string was being pulled out nicely. I would strongly recommend them.

I wish there wasn’t a need to write a review (normally I am not a review type person) but I felt a need to.
With great heartache we needed to bring our beloved Nemo in to have him laid down in eternal rest. I would highly recommend the clinic the staff was amazing and compassionate with Nemo as well as my family. I would like to give special thank you to Sam she treated Nemo like he was her personal fur baby as well she comforted my family like she was a member of our family. Thank you Sam your caring made this day at least a small amount easier to deal.

Sadly didnt recieve the care my cat fluffy ninja needed.ended up going way further than needed too.
