I had a great experience here with Dr. Amanda, she was so caring with our dog, and an overall nice, caring person, I will definitely be returning!

The staff and doctors here are very patient and thorough. Service is good. I believe my bird will receive the best care here. Reduced one star because my bird was badly roughed up during blood collection (he was find just lost some feathers), then the staff lost the blood sample so the poor little thing has too go through it again. And also the price of testes are bit higher overall.

Dr. Dienst has treated my mini rex rabbit, Cricket, since day one and she is now almost 2 years old. She did her initial consultation, spayed her and just completed her annual check-up. She is very knowledgeable, caring, friendly and honest. I love that she takes the time to answer all of my questions and never rushes me out. Dr. Dienst and the entire staff at Animal Hospital of High Park are true professionals. Keep up the stellar work!

The staff are always excited to see our pup and are great employees. The doctors are knowledgeable, they take our concerns seriously, and all procedures are explained in detail prior to having them done. Our dog enjoys her visits which makes things less stressful for everyone!

Everyone at the clinic was very attentive and helpful, from the reception to the technicians and the vet. They asked a couple questions to better understand why I was there (my ball python wasn't eating), showed techniques that could help with the problem, and even followed up the next day asking if it worked. Very happy with my visit (and I believe Udon enjoyed it, too)

The best vet clinic and I’ve been taking my bunnies here for years! Staff are helpful and Dr. Regan always takes good care of my bunnies, showering them with love always. I fully trust Animal Hospital of High Park with my fur babies and highly recommend them.

Excellent service, they were friendly and gave good attention to our little one. Unfortunately, she had a genetic heart disease and passed away, and Dr. Zaman was clear with us and gave us options. Today we receive a sweet and lovely card with a handmade drawing of our Petunia. We appreciate the gesture.

They charge twice as much as other vets (neutering here is over $1k per rabbit) and failed to give me pertanent information on my two new bunnies' innitial exam-such as that their sibling bond was fake and they would begin fighting once they matured. I didn't know about the process of rebonding them and was surprised to come into their room one day to them almost killing each other. Lucky I saw them when I did.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and service here, especially due to their higher than average pricing. I think it's fair to assume something this important would be relayed to me during an initial appointment.

Save your money and go elsewhere.

and called them the following day to reschedule it. Now she informs we charge for not showing up which is the amount of the of examination fee is exactly the same amount.
I needed her to see if they can do something for my baby parrot, but from am now almost to 7pm I got no answer otherwise I have to pay almost 200 or more plus the same examination amount for the real examination. Now when I told her that you should have told me this policy of charges if no shopw up from the first place. I also told her that my incoming calls or outgoing call is automatically recorded, so I can assure you that nope, you NEVER mention about it. I told her I never received any email either and can she although she was really convinced about doing it all right aside not telling the fee due to no show up. Since I have not received an email, and then I asked her ok what is the email address you send it to? As soon as she read it load up for me. OMG STOP THERE! This is not the right email, so careless she hasn't put enough effort, take my email address which I try to give her correctly more than 2 times. This whole thing is just wrong. I experienced enough so I asked her may I speak to your manager? She responds to me. She is not here and she had to call to her home and then I told her, you might can't remember that all day today, you kept telling me she's in the meeting etc.and I also looked at their website where is clearly said Thursdays between noon time stuffs has a meeting.ok then when can I speak with her? She responded by the middle of the following week. I'm sure it was a lie as well.

They injured our rabbit and refused to take responsibility for it. They literally took a piece of skin out of his ear which almost killed him. They are terrible people and I would never bring any living being here if you want it to stay living. Disgusting service as well. I’m

I brought my dog here because I had a few concerns about his health. They made an appointment right away and accomodated my work schedule. I didn't have to wait in the waiting room at all and they completed a full health check on my dog. The price was very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. I would suggest this place for anyone looking for good, clean vet.

I can't recommend this clinic enough! Firstly, right when we walked in, my birds and I were taken right to an exam room. This never happens for me, I always expect to wait in the waiting room, but nope we were taken right back! My pet birds saw Dr. Zaman and he was INCREDIBLE! It was an amazing experience. We went for an international health certificate for travel (our normal vet is Links Road Clinic but they don't do the avain health certificate), and wow, if you're traveling, or even just need routine vet care I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Zaman! The vet tech who assisted during my appointment was wonderful with my birds as well, and at the end another vet tech offered to help me carry the birds to my car! Truly just above and behind kindness at this vet clinic who have incredible staff. If you need vet care - go here!

I made an appointment to have my bird's beak and claws done. I am sure I heard the appointment at 1.40 pm but I got there before to say the least parking is a big B. I was told the appointment is for 12.40 not 1.40 but they will try and fit me in after the Vets surgery. I filled the necessary form out and sat down after half of an hour to be told that they cannot take my bird today I must leave it overnight to get the nails done and they will give me a discount. I was not looking for discounts I was looking for good service with respect and a good job. After wasting my time and by the way I was recommended by a Pet store owner I felt that their treatment of a client is zero. Hopefully they will know that its clients who make their business prosperous and will treat people with kindness rather than hostility. I called my old Vet and was recommended to a Vet who needs clients that respect their work and ethics.

I originally changed my dog's vet to come here for Dr. Banarjee. Sadly she is no longer working here and they moved locations. They moved closer to me so that was a bonus. I was in the midst of moving my dog to a new vet when my hamsters got mites. Animal Hospital of High Park actually sees hamsters too - and the vet that attended to them was so sweet and kind. She was amazing, and I was VERY comfortable with my most recent experiences there. I will be staying!
The only downside I have to say is that they can be a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for. I went through 4 vets before I found this place. Thank you to the staff here - you guys are awesome!

Had a sick bird and contacted them as it seemed to be an emergency. The died before we get there, but they were nice enought to offer me an appointment the same day.

They are very professional and knowledgeable with small animals. However its a little pricey but worth it.

Honestly, I can not speak highly enough of this animal hospital! Dr. Zaman has been nothing short of thorough and compassionate during the final stages of my hammy’s life. I never feel rushed when addressing concerns and I truly feel like he does everything he can to ensure the best for my fur baby. I was recommended to come here by my original vet when they couldn’t squeeze in an emergency appointment for me, and I’m so happy that they did! (Although it’s farther from me, it is so well worth the trip.) It’s hard to find a vet that can provide appropriate care for pocket pets but I feel so reassured knowing my tiny one is in such good hands here. My experiences dealing with the staff have always been positive, professional and incredibly accommodating. I had even received a follow up email asking how Mochi was doing after bringing him in. I can really feel how much they care. Highly highly recommend. Thank you all so much for all that you do!:)

Our three old bearded dragon, "Coco" was a bit more lethargic then lately, and had spit up his dinner on more than one occasions. Concerned, we took him the clinic for a quick check up. They treated him with respect and compassion. They truly love animals. This is the vet office to go to.

I whole heartily recommend this animal hospital. They were extremely caring and professional while we had to put down our rabbit. The treatment was thorough and Dr Zamen did everything in his power to help our lil guy transition to his next life. Forever greatful.

Today, I called for an emergency appointment because my pet is sick. When they couldn't get her in until later this evening I said I was going to try somewhere else that can get her in earlier. Lisa - who was on the phone with me - hung up on me. What was most frustrating is that she didn't recommend any emergency vets if my dog's condition worsened. I understand that they can't see my dog today, but at least try to show a little care for her wellbeing.

Otherwise, scheduled appointments were ok - although they did lose a stool sample so I had to go back the next day.

Great staff, veterinarian was through and very understanding and conpassionate, as we had to put our bearded dragon down. Wish I had taken her here before.

In comparison with my previous vet, AHOHP was much more helpful. I have a dwarf hamster and it's been really hard to find a vet for him, let alone a good one. We had a very positive experience here and we'll be going here from now on.

Better look elsewhere if you don't want your appointments to be re-scheduled to oblivion when you're worried about your pet's condition.

Staff is knowledgeable and kind. We had an online Zoom meeting with our new hamster when the pandemic first hit and our vet, Dr. Banerjee, was awesome! She was so nice and helped us with our hammy's mite problem. She also recommended an oil to help with our hammy's fur regrowth and she's obsessed with it. I chill it so it's easier to scoop on to a chopstick and hand feed it to the Ham. She also was incredibly helpful with my mum's elderly Chihuahua, and we will be bringing our new puppy to this clinic next month!
We are very impressed with this clinic and have only wonderful things to say and share to anyone who will listen. Probably the best bet clinic we've ever dealt with and we will continue that relationship in the future.

I will recommend Dr. Regan and her team to anyone looking for quality pet care in Toronto. Everyone we encountered at the clinic was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The staff regularly called and emailed to check in on our cat, Leo, and answered our many questions. Leo was well cared for during his treatments and in his final visit. Dr. Regan helped us to understand what to expect today, and her staff gave us plenty of space and time to say goodbye to Leo.

Also, their new location is clean, bright and spacious.

Not only has my family been going there for over twenty years, but everyone I've spoken to has said the same thing. They are among the best. In the past they've helped my dog and cats. Sure the animals eventually died, but thanks to their Veterinarians they lived long lives.

I now have bunnies, and they have been wonderful with them. I'm paying average Vet prices for superb service. That's what a pet owner should be prioritizing. They're knowledgeable, competent and most importantly care. This includes reception, they always make me feel welcome and are very helpful.

I recommend you stop looking, and take your pet here. They're in amazing hands.

My leopard gecko jumped out of my hands. I rushed him to the vet because I was worried, the vet said he was fine and sent him home. He still died the very next night.

This is a clinic run by Women & fantastic Women at that! I have dealt with Cassandra & Juliana (reception) Matt (tech) and Dr Regan & Dr Co. Every single one of these women & Man:) has made me feel at ease.and they have answered ALL my questions & never made me feel like I am being a bother. (and I have a lot of questions lol)

I have dealt with many Vets in my time. (I have owned horses and almost everything in between lol) right down to what brought me here, my beloved Chameleon.
High Park is one of three "Reptile" vets within Toronto, and having to seek emergency care during a Pandemic is absolutely telling of what you can expect from a vet during normal times. They have been prompt, fair & absolutely comprehensive in their care. Unlike another clinic I reached out to during an emergent situation who really didn't care.

I am definitely considering using this Clinic for my Cat & Dog based on this recent experience.
If you have any doubts, please do not, try this Clinic and see for yourself.

I want to share my experience with the Animal Hospital of High Park. First of all, I would really suggest that you don't get a rabbit if you live in Toronto unless you have a good working car. Believe or not, in this huge city there are no emergency hospitals for small mamals, so good luck if your rabbit gets really sick. My rabbit started sneezing on Thursday night.but there is no 24 hour hospitals for small mammals so I could not go to one. I don't own a car or drive and so I coudln't go to Guelph which I found out later does have 24 hour service. I called the Animal Hospital of High Park on Friday and they would not see him as they said this was not an emergency. They offered me only a telemedicne appointment at 11am. Due to having to get funds at the bank and a prepaid card (I don't use credit cards) I said I wasn't sure that I could make it for 11am. I was on time and called at 11am, but they had not waited for me in case I made it (athough I had made it clear that I would do my best to do so). I believed what they said when they said that sneezing was not an emergency and then by Monday at 4am my rabbit died at only 6 ytears old. The vet who called today at my request had the nerve and insensitivity to say that rabbits are not begginer pets. So, it turns out that it was my fault that they would not see me or my rabbit on Friday or the weekend. These are really terrible people. I really warn anyone to not go there and I suggest you have a car and can drive to Guelph if you have rabbit who has an emergency. I also want to say that other doctors such as the main vet, doctor Regan, suggested it was my fault my rabbit had developed cataracts. She said the main reason rabbits get them is due to stress and trauma and it was clear she was directing this comment at me. I am a very quiet and sensitive person who lives alone. I have always taken good care of my rabbit, but don't be surprised if Dr. Regan or other vets at this location critizize you, wag their finger at you or judge you. It has happened to me on several occasions. I would never have stayed for so long except there are only two exotic animal hospitals in Toronto. Also, don't be surprised, especially if you have Dr Regan, that she will suggest as many tests as possible and that you spend as much money as possible. There is no doubt in my mind that money is the most important concern of this hopsital and that she and this "animal hospital is primarily driven by the almighty dollar.

Bought our puppy in for Xrays of his chest and a full exam. We were informed that our 5 month old pup was stable by the vet in charge (never met any of the vets due to Covid). 2 days later we bring him back for an ultrasound and a Completely different vet was in charge, after waiting hours for the Ultrasound tech to arrive (outside) pup goes in with the tech for the test. Less than 5 minutes later the vet calls stating pup was having issues during the ultrasound and is being placed on oxygen- needs emergency care it's a life and death scenario. Ultimately he died within minutes of that time, there was no time to rush to the veterinary emergency hospital. Regardless of the current situation with this covid virus if you are faced with placing your pet in the vets care for a routine test -demand for 1 family member to accompany your pet inside the hospital. It's way to stressful for everyone to endure and we would not wish for anyone to experience this loss.

This vet clinic is absolutely amazing. I called this morning regarding my guinea pig. The secretaries were so friendly and very patient. They took the time to listen. I received a video consult with Dr Izzy he is amazing. He took his time and explained everything clearly. He did not rush and listened and calmed my anxiety as I was so worried. Thank you for easing my worries and be there for us.

Haven’t brought my “specialty” animal companions in yet. Only have heard good things. Buy food for my parrot from here. Staff is always friendly on the phone and in person.

Would like to thank Dr K. Regan and your staff for taking care of my budgie. Charlie my female budgie was sick, loosing weight and all puffed up! She was down to 26 grams. Dr K and her staff were very professional and caring. Dr K started a treatment plan and within a couple of days Charlie was feeling better and started to put weight back on! She is now back to herself and at her normal weight of 32 grams. Thanks again for saving her!

Dr. Regan and her staff are amazing. They all have genuine affection for the animals they care for. We used to volunteer for a dog rescue, and they treated all our rescues professionally and lovingly. Our dog Bruce gets the best care whenever we have to bring him in for a checkup or some emergency appointment. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of High Park.

I had the most horrible experience! I have a bird, and I would not suggest to bring your bird there to avian doctor. All they care is your money! I have masters degree in sciences and I knew what tests I want them to do (keeping it in my head). When doctor came up with a list of unnecessary over 1,000$ tests, I confronted him saying that those are absolutely unnecessary tests, and which tests for sure my bird needs. Dr became rude and could not explain his reasoning for unnecessary tests, I just got him and I said it's for the money, he was just standing with red face.shame.and I got up and left, did not pay for consultation.what consultation? Absolute BS, would not recommend this hospital! Verified, that was exactly the hospital where I had horrible experience!

Dr. Reagan is fantastic, attentive and willing to listen and collaborate on your pets health. We have a few ferrets we take to her and she is consistently amazing with them, extremely empathetic and helpful in her care.
Shes up to date on research- and knows a lot about ferrets.

Dr. Banerjee is the most helpful and I formative vet here. She will follow up, and she cares. She gives options & lots of I formation and not only is she great with animals, she's effective with their their owners. I had a really bad experience with Dr. Regan when it came time to put our 16 year old dog down. She was awkward and made a tough situation even tougher. Dr. Banerjee is what keeps us here.

They are so knowledgeable and caring for my little bunny! I am so happy I found them after being referred by a long time client of theirs. Dr Regan is really great. I was never felt guilted or pressured into any of my buns treatments like I had at other clinics, or as some of the other reviews suggest. They really just want what's best. Everyone has their own experiences but each of mine has been nothing short of great!

The staff was amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. My son had a great experience taking his 1st pet in for her check-up.

I brought my Australian Parrot to the clinic for the first time. I didn't have any vet and I found the place online. My parrot broke his leg in the cage, and they were able to fix it perfectly. They were very gentle and caring with my Kimchi, and after 4 weeks with his little cast, he was fine. Now he is completely healed, playful and happy again!

They were very good to fit in my Sugar Glider, Maple. We were late because of traffic and they were very understanding. All staff were nice and welcoming. It was Maple's first time in the vet and she was comfortable during her physical exam.

My guinea pig was having seizures. They sent me to Guelph because they had no appointments. They called me half an hour later to say they could see her for ten minutes if I got there within the next 30 minutes, so I turned around and headed to them. She died two minutes before we got there. When I got there, I ended up waiting an hour anyway while the vet who would see me was with a puppy in the room beside me and taking his time. This vet seemed to be filling in, he wasn't Dr. Banerjee or Dr. Regan, but he didn't introduce himself.

The best part was the vet describing in technical detail how my pet coughed up blood from her lungs as part of the "agonizing process" without any consideration of how that might be, I don't know, a deeply inconsiderate and insensitive thing to say to someone whose pet had literally just died in their arms. The standard practice of the vets here is to offer an eye-wateringly high bill of all treatment options and make you decide which ones are necessary if you say you can't afford all of them.

The saving graces of this animal hospital are the vet techs/nurses. They're so kind and considerate and were incredibly compassionate, especially Katie. They have always been the best part of this hospital and they deserve 5 stars.

I take my turtle and rabbit to this vet as my regular vets don’t treat exotics. Always a wonderful experience. Prices are a bit higher than my previous exotic vet but seem to be worth it!

After searching for an avian vet for my cockatiel and calling to get an appointment at so many different places, this one helped me by getting an appointment the very next day. Even though, they were fully booked, they managed to make space for me. This one was also the closest to home within the Etobicoke area. Freckles was very ill and needed medical attention desperately. We brought her in and Dr. Reagan was amazing! She checked Freckles and diagnosed her illness immediately. All the staff were so friendly as well in making us feel welcomed. Thankfully, the antibiotics prescribed worked well thanks to Dr. Reagan's expertise and Freckles is doing so much more better now. I would strongly recommend this animal hospital to anyone looking for a knowledgeable vet. Thank you Animal Hospital of High Park for all your help!

I had an emergency with my bird Lilly and they took care of all of us. Not only Lilly but they manage to calm down me and my son (pet owners) with patience, lot of information and love.

Animal Hospital of High Park was the closest Avian veterinary practice within range of our house. So i had scheduled an appointment to bring my 2 green cheek conures (Devin and Jack) in for a checkup and to get acquainted with the vet on staff.
From the very moment we stepped foot (and feather) into the office we felt welcomed. The staff were attentive and very welcoming.
After our first visit I felt that we had found the perfect place to bring our 2 conrues for checkups. The vet on hand answered any and all questions we had (even if they sounded ridiculous in our head).
At christmas time we even received a holiday card from them which was very kind and thoughful.

Earlier this month we lost our conure Devin, she was only one year old. We had found her in the middle of the night, rigid and cold on her perch: (. Our hearts broke.
We couldn't understand what happened and phoned the vet clinic first thing the following morning.
We had asked for a necropsy to be done and they walked me through the process as well as told me up front how much it would cost. We agreed to have the necropsy done, we wanted to make sure Jack was going to be safe, in case it was a virus or bacteria.
The staff here were very supportive, any questions we had, no matter how silly we thought it sounded, they walked us through it all.
They delivered results efficiently and quickly and made it their mission to allow us the time to grieve.
They even helped us handle the Cremation arrangements, since my partner and I are not very knowledgeable of such things.

I am so grateful to the staff and doctors on hand at Animal Hospital of High Park.
They took the utmost care with all the details and spared none when communicating it back to us.
I feel as though we would've been lost without their help.

If you are not a patient at this hospital I highly recommend becoming one.
They truly want whats best for you and your loved ones.

My veterinarian was Dr. Amrita Banerjee and she was fantastic. I would recommend their services to other owners of rodents (they took a look at my chinchilla). Super friendly and very informative. They also made sure to check pricing was okay with me before conducing a test (and they would explain why they were conducting it) which I found very respectable. I didn't feel rushed during my appointment and they fit me into their schedule with ease.

We have taken our bugee Nut here several times and Dr. Banerjee is amazing with her. Dr. Banerjee is always so caring and very knowledgeable. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.

Horrible experience. I had to put my old man cat down and while the receptionist was very empathetic, the vet was beyond uncaring. She made me wait in the office for over an hour, waiting for my cat to die. Then she didn't give him enough of the medication and his death lingered until she gave him more. The whole time she acted like she was in a rush and I was inconveniencing her, even though I had an appointment. The whole experience was complete torture. I know she does this stuff every day but this is the memory I will have the rest of my life of the last moments of a family members life. All I wanted was a peaceful ending for him but instead I feel like I let the old guy down.
