Dr. Gold has been our family veterinarian for over 20yrs. Always provides care with passion and while educating us with best practices and how to care for our fluffy loved family members.

Excellent and friendly staff, Dr. Burrows and Dr. Dugan took the time to answer all of our questions when our cat needed to urgently be seen. The vet techs were so caring. They allowed us to visit him multiple times a day while he stayed at the hospital, called us throughout the day to give us updates. Extremely transparent on cost. You can tell that everyone at the Animal Hospital of Oakville truly cares about our fur babies!

Excellent doctors, technicians and admin staff. Very knowledgeable and professional. I have been taking my pets here for 21 years and both my dogs received excellent loving care. I highly recommend the Animal hospital of Oakville. They are the best.

Wonderful and caring staff. Really helped me through the horrible decision to put my cat down. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Very disappointed to phone for a medical visit for our cat to be told our account had been deactivated. No, we hadn't been there in 4 years but 2 of those years were during a pandemic and other family issues were involved. A phone call would have been nice. So long and thanks for the past.

My dog had an ear infection, they were able to get me in the next day. Dr Best and the staff were amazing at dealing with a very sore German Shepherd. And the prices were reasonable

Animal Hospital of Oakville was recommended to me by a friend when I got my rescue dog 3 years ago. Since then, I've taken both my rescues there and have received excellent service every time. Both Dr Janice de St. Croix and Dr Meredith Allum have been actively engaged and invested in my pets' wellbeing, asking about how things were going and being sensitive to my dogs' needs (one is a dog-reactive GSD and the other is a Belgian Malinois who gets scared in the vets office). They have been nothing but understanding, kind, empathetic, and so professional.

The office staff have always been kind and courteous. Recently, because of COVID-19 I found myself stuck 5 hours north of the city in an area with few vets that were open. I ran out of medication for my dog and made a few panicked calls once I realized that vets were not as available up here as they were in the city- and despite having 19 other prescriptions to fill and me not giving much notice, the office staff at Animal Hospital of Oakville had the prescription sent to the other vet and I was picking it up 15 minutes after I called! I truly appreciate such excellent service in such challenging times. It just goes to show how much everyone at AHO cares about their clients.

Thank you for taking such good care of all of my cats and especially of Missy during her final days. The ongoing and compassionate care and communication of your staff was so very much appreciated.

We’ve been at this vet for 3 dogs and many years and have had nothing but the absolute best treatment with them all. The team is compassionate, thorough and lovely to deal with. I can’t thank all the techs, vets, and administrative team enough for making every visit so pleasant, even the hard ones. Thank you!
