In November 2022, we were provided Anita’s name by a top Agent in the Brantford area. I reached out to Anita and was immediately impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. Anita has a great amount of insight into the Guelph, Elora and Fergus area.
Anita was always very prompt on getting back to me with viewings and any questions that I had. When we looked at a house that we were interested in, her high level of knowledge became very apparent. Anita was very up to date regarding the structure of houses, high end appliances, internal workings of the house HVAC system and numerous upgrades within the house. She was also very familiar and informative with respect to neighbourhoods and services in the area.
Anita was also able to provide great insight into lawyers, home inspectors, etc. She doesn’t tell you who to use but she does give you a few, really good options.
I have no reservation to highly recommend Anita for any real estate transaction in the Guelph, Elora, Fergus area.

Anita has helped me both buy and sell my first home and both experiences have been great! Anita did a great job selling our house in Guelph. Listed on Monday and sold on Tuesday. She knows the market well, did a great job of staging our house. She is very professional and did all this during this Covid 19 times. We had a short turn around great for us and less than a month later we had the money in the bank.

From our initial meeting with Anita Van Rootselaar, we immediately felt comfortable with her. It had been a number of years since we sold our previous home, so she took the time to explain the current housing market, and provided her honest feedback on the value of our property, which was based on the condition of our home, and the sales of comparable homes in our area. After our discussions, we felt confident that she could give us the help and attention that we needed to sell our home quickly.

Finding a Realtor that you can trust is one thing, but Anita gave us so much more than that. She never made any promises that she couldn't keep - she was open and honest about what she could and couldn't do for us. She set her expectations up front, and gave us the flexibility that we needed to make our own decisions, or arrive at decisions together when the situation called for it. She was responsive and returned phone calls and email communication in a timely manner - even when she was away on a family vacation in Florida. Anita kept us in the loop about all matters pertaining to the sale of our home, and she put our interests above her own. Never once did she 'drop the ball' on us. In fact, she was passionate about helping us and was always on the ball, calling to remind us of upcoming deadlines, and following up on leads that we believed may have lead to a sale.

We spent about a week and a half getting our house ready to sell. Anita was patient through this whole time, and offered encouragement and advice when it was needed. The For Sale sign went up on the front lawn, and we received our first offer 4 days later, at our listing price! We were thrilled, and two months later, we moved into our dream home!
