It is always busy place and sometimes hard to find a place to dine in. However food is really delicious.

I wish I could them 0 star for their slow service and unprofessional behavior. I had worst mango lassi and dosa of my life. I will never come back here again.

We order chicken plater.it does not taste good at all. We ask them to return it but they said sorry we can, t return it because you already start eating it, if the plate was untouched then we can return, if we can, t taste it how could we know that its good or not. We went for dinner over there, my husband stomach was upset after just tasting that plater.we pay for it and just return that plate as it is.poor service.

The food we got was totally burnt and since we took 3/4 bites, they didn’t bother to replace the food let alone void the item. Sutharsha was the Manager and she was extremely rude and told us “we should have looked at the bottom of the dosa before eating! We went from first layer to the bottom and bottom was totally burnt! Took my wife for a Dosa. South Indian food done right guys. They have a wicked spicy dry chicken appetizer. Coming back for more.

Im surprised that the rating is only 3.8. They deserve at least 4 and more. We've been going here for Dosa since 2015, so far consistent with the dosa standards (crunchy and fresh), we also tried other dishes and so far delicious. Keep up the good work chef! The servers are also welcoming and attentive.
However, ive rated the atmosphere as 3 because ive always noticed that their washroom needs to be maintained clean, and it may need a better lighting and an upgrade for the whole place.

I wish there was something below one star that I could have given. I ordered a mysor masala dosa and it was very soggy and not at fresh feeling disappointed.

We used to regularly come here as family for dine in and all has been good until last Wednesday aug 16 2023. I had placed an order for mutton biryani & chicken lollipop. When I got the food after 35 mins usual wait time & noticed once at home which is 30 mins drive that chicken lollipop was not kept in it. When I called they said there is no option of refund & come again to pick up or order next time for which I won’t be charged.
Today Sunday I ordered & after 30 mins drive came to pick, they got lollipop ready so while paying I stated this was a missing dish which they said would not be charged. Then the cashier stated we have checked in for this already hence can’t give this dish & will give another dish which took another 30 mins. Never had a bad customer service in anjappar, why can’t the lollipop they got be provided what difference is it going to make in another lollipop. Alfonsa said while calling itself I should have stated this order is related to the one they forgot last time, since I had not stated while calling they made me wait to give another while wasting the prepared one. The cashier Alfonsa was not helpful.

We have been visiting this restaurant for the past 3 years and for the first time, we felt very disappointed. Most of the food items were out of stock and ended up waiting for more than 10 minutes for the food during weekend breakfast buffet. Mouth freshener was not there too. Will not visit again

We waited an hour for this small portion burnt prison food The staff couldn't even correctly identify our food when they brought it. Half the table was eating the wrong item while the other half was still waiting for their food

Food is Decent and price seems Fair too. Around $11 for this dosa. I asked server that i need my dosa spicy and then she suggest me to pay $2 for green chillies. I ordered tamarind chutney and extra sambhar and they charge extra for everything. I paid 5.50 for extra sambhar, chutney and green chilli. Taste wise it is good.

I'm in love with the vibe of this place. Went along with a few friends and we were surprised to see how the food had such good quality and taste and still the prices were not that high. Loved the food and the people working there were very polite to us too. Thank you for such an amazing evening!

Fantastic Chettinad South Indian food. A little bit on the pricey side if you are only going to eat vegetarian food.

Charging extra for chutney, sambhar and onions is a little not cool.

They have very bad service like customers are waiting inside for more than 45 minutes just for one order they don’t have cook inside the kitchen I think all in all this is very bad restaurant I ever visited in my life hell totally.

These people rather make money for UberEats, Skip and Doordash.

I was trying to help them by walk-in order at counter so all the money goes to them and Billionaire companies don't get the cut from not even doing anything.

I ordered two items, I was told 30 minutes. I went there about 35 min later they said ‘not ready will have to wait another 10 minutes. ’ While I was waiting in the car non-stop all the above mentioned people. At least 20-25 orders went out in that time. Another 20 minutes later, my order was ready.

Will not go here again.

No words for the dosa but the sambhar I got was not hot, could be a one time thing. But told the customer service about it and they changed it right away. Managing covid quite well have big space for sitting.

Increased proce so much…. For veggie noodles it was 13.55 with taxes before and now suddenly a week after they are 19.50.

Increased price so much and reduced quantity to half! Even dosa itself has only half masala potatoes in it, opened it later! Sambar was just more water! They were good but now food is worst comparatively.

I don’t know from where to start, if this page had an option of zero star I would surely have marked that!? But before COVID I would say it was one of my favourite place from last 5 years, unfortunately now they have zero standard, zero services, poorest quality of FOOD they are serving and without any basic manners (served food without cutlery) We waited for 1 hour 12 minutes then we ordered Kara dosa and what we were served was BURNT DOSA smelled like burnt, Sambhar was more than a cold water, stuffing in dosa was just like 1 spoon measuring, not only this but also they have changed there recipes of kara dosa and sambhar as well! Will never come again, because this happened 3rd time in a 1 month. A BIG BIG BIG Noooo to this restaurant!

And get their Pomfret Fry…. Out of this world!

Note if you are not familiar with eating fish with bones you may want to get someone to help you. Pomfret has a single simple bone structure and not at all difficult to de-bone while eating.

These guys never fail To impress me. There Masala dosa is the best masala dosa I have had in GTA! Customer service is also always on point. Fresh food and a great ambiance to take your family too.

It was fine and service was good, no doubt but we waited for an hour to get our table. Like coordination was not there. They lack staff I believe because we did not see much staff to help other staff and huge crowd. The food was fine but the thing was quantity of sambhar and chutney.sambhar was very very less and extra chutney was paid! That hurts. Also, when asked for extra sambhar, they vessel that they were pouring sambhar was very very very small. That made me gave it a 3 star experience.

I ordered prawns, they charged the price for prawns but ended up giving me Chicken. The food tastes good, but service is too bad.

An absolute disaster of food. I placed an order for chicken 65 and chicken lollypop. After opening the food it smelled bad and chicken 65 was more of a chicken pakora. After asking to replace or refund they tried to justify saying chicken lollypop and chicken 65 are absolutely same, the only difference is one is with bone and other is boneless.

Less quantity of add ons, pathetic service, long wait for food and cold food, asked for more sambhar, it came when we were done eating, and had asked fr chutney too which didnt come at all, will never visit again

Just visited 2 weeks before after COVId. Dine in was good and better experience.
Staff very friendly and their food taste has increased and got better after covid.

Ordered the Mutton fry and also the chicken pepper masala.no meat at all just felt like having a bunch of onions.

And the quantity for certain items is not worth the price
This was never an issue pre-covid
But since the rates have gone higher as a customer I would expect the quantity to match the price

I ordered to biryanis for takeout, they made me wait an hour within restaurant just to tell me that they are out of biryanis, I spoke to another waiter he said they have biryani and he took my receipt and went to kitchen and took another 20 minutes, I was so frustrated I demanded refund went out, like me there were couple of more takeout orders. I demanded to see the manager but he was not there. No management whatsoever, I recommend don't go, mississauga branch much better than this.

This place is my preferred one. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cuisine they offer is so flavorful. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this place. Highly recommended.

I went here and placed an order for 2 different dosas. They packed chutneys in same container for both the orders. Is this the way you serve the order to the customers while dine in? Do you guys offer only one plate to the customers even if they are ordering 4 dosas for 4 different people. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never recommend anybody to visit here.

Went for dinner with family after hearing good reviews but had worst nightmare of life. Even after informing our waitress 100 times about my daughter's EGG Allergy, we got EGG DOSA instead of Ghee Dosa. I freaked out and called the staff none of the staff was sorry for the blunder and never came back to apologize.worst customer service! Thank god my daughter didn't had any otherwise this dinner trip would have been ended in ER. Never going back!

Love the pure South Indian food here. Staff is well trained and are always around. We prefer this place over the rest of the competition. On weekends just to beat the rush or to be on the safe side one can make a prior reservation to avoid the waiting.

It was tremendously bad. Never ever try it. They are not even giving Sambhar free. No potatoes inside Dosa even though we ordered Masala dosa. No options available for vegetarians. Never never never think of it. It sucks.

I would not recommend this place for vegetarians, also my stomach went bad next day due to the food, looks the food was not fully cooked.even my family members complained the same. Would like to improve more on customer friendliness and food taste to be improved.

Food was extremely delicious. I had Ceylon Egg Parotta and Utthappam. And have to mention about the service. Kajal was a real pro in service.

Worst place ever. I went with my friends for dinner. Me and my friend ordered Chilli, Onion and Tomato uttapam. Firstly we got just Onion and Chilli Uttapam. Then, we asked waiter for replacement.we got raw Uttapam then.we called waiter again for the complain and he got us new uttapam after waiting for 30minutes.again Uttapam was raw for 3rd time. Then without having dinner we ask for bill. This place have worst customer service.even, they don’t have curtesy.we haven’t had Uttapam.still they charge us for that.

Delicious South Indian Food flavours from Chettinad region. This is an especially great place for people wanting a South Indian non-vegetarian dishes.

Really bad experience in my recent visit with their buffet menu. Briyani rice is over cooked and looks burnt but they mixed the burnt (dark brown) rice with Briyani, tandoori chicken is not cooked well inside. Anjappar shrimp curry it's worst taste can't even try that once. Finally they brought a masala dosa, I haven't seen any dosa like that. Masala curry is not good. I expect more from this restaurant but finally I got disappointed.

Food was okey but Expensive Masala Papad, it has mentioned 2 pcs and when arrived on the table it was 2 slice of 1 papad. Felt like cheated.

Ive been coming here with my family and with my significant other doe the past 12 years. I think the food is excellent, my personal favourite to order is the ghee paper masala dosa and a mango lassi. The wait staff is pretty friendly. My significant other is white and I'm pretty fair skinned so he feels like we are treated differently than my family. I think for the desserts they should find out the ingredients, we ordered the rasmalai once and we're allergic to some nuts but they didn't know what was in it so we were stuck paying for something that couldn't be eaten. But overall, the food is great, the staff are pretty good, the atmosphere is great. I haven't gone to the buffet in years but the last time I did, it was great, it had the foods I wanted. They are my gold standard for mango lassi, they've always made it perfect and I compare other places to Anjappar's lassi. Can't wait to come back!

I ordered Matar Paneer with Parrota from this restaurant but it was bad experience. I felt sick and got stomach and upper respiratory tract infection. Don’t know what was in their food and there was no manager when I went to informing them
I don’t recommend this restaurant for anyone who love his / her health

I was in the Brampton location with my husband and 22 months old son today for lunch. My son was running around and playing, and one of the employee said we need to stop him or employees with food in their hand can trip. Totally understandable, my husband picked him and try to make him sleep and started walking in the empty area.

He went to the empty area and started to make my son sleep. An employees came and said he can't be there, my husband said I will make him sleep and come back or he will run around. The employee rolled his eyes on my husband while turned back without realizing I was watching him.

Then I asked one of the employee to change my Kara dosa since it was too spicy that I could only have a bite of it. The employee started to yell at me (and trust me he literally was yelling at me that table next to us were looking at us) that you order it now you have to eat it. We won't change and you should know Kara dosa is always spicy. Well guess what i didn't know because it was my first time trying this dosa. Great customer service.

And the store manager didn't even recognised that there was an issue even after I have told her and decided to ignore me totally.

Over all of this, after five minutes employee told my husband not to be in the empty area there was another man with his infant since he was also trying to make the baby sleep. I thought it was a family restaurant, is It?

Best Authentic South Indian served to the best. They have a buffet at a reasonable price which is unlimited and has great varieties. Loved the biryani and mutton fry! All taste spicy and perfect.

Tried their paper masala dosa. The dosa's were really well sized. They went light on the chutney and sambhar but we got addnl at no cost. The service was super friendly. The servers were very friendly and service was good despite the busy evening.

First of all, we called this place asking if they were busy or not, and they said we could simply walk in! A few minutes later, we arrived, surprised to be told that there was a 30 minute wait. Luckily, a table cleared up within 10-15 minutes, so we were seated a little early.
Hungry and annoyed, we ordered our food. By no means was the service quick; the food took at least 40 minutes to arrive. However, once it did arrive, we were astounded at the size of the dosas! Personally, I ordered the ghee paper masala dosa, and it was gigantic. The only problem was that they gave so little sambar and chutney. This was quite dissapointing, as I still had half my dosa remaining, but no condiments left! I would also say the sambar was quite unauthentic. My mom could easily make a better dish than this!
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone nor would I come here again, but I guess this is how you learn!

Good south indian family restaurant. Customer service is really good. However, the food was good, not great. They have buffet and set menu. Buffet has a really limited options and desserts are also included. Buffet close at 9.30pm and therefore go early if you are planning to take the buffet. Prices are also reasonable.

Disaster customer service. Ordered dosa and requested for extra sambar.never came till end. Server never came again to ask for any thing else. After finishing food waited 30 mins to get the bill. Servers were wandering around but never bothered to ask for food or any thing else. If I would have option for less than one star I have given that. This restaurant is out of my list for ever.
