Annex Judo Academy

People are kind and the teachers are considerate and understanding. Some students are a bit cliquey and you feel excluded at times as a new guy. However; a lot are friendly and approachable and I feel safe practicing a high intensity sport.

AJA offers a fantastic and lively program for all judo athletes, whether you're a young beginner or an experienced competitor. Bonus points for its easily accessible location in downtown Toronto. Cannot recommend this club enough!

I joined the Annex Judo Academy a little over a year ago and have had an amazing experience. The senseis are knowledgeable and welcoming and encourage all skill levels to engage in the classes, learn new skills, and develop increased physical fitness. The community of students is also supportive and friendly. The annex community is a truly wonderful group of people! If you are looking to try something new or are curious about judo, I strongly recommend contacting the Annex Judo Academy and trying a class.

As an added benefit the location is east to access (only a 5 minute walk from Bathurst Station) and there are three classes a week.

Amazing judo Club with incredible instruction and a family style atmosphere. Highly recommended for all levels of Judo!
