I bought a coffee machine to this company. After few days without hearing anything about it or receiving a tracking number. I decided to call.
I found out they sold me a 600$ coffee machine without having it on stock, not sure how long they were waiting to contact me and explain the situation. They finally canceled the order and returned the money, which I have to wait 5 days to receive it. This company doesn’t know how to keep track on their own stock, they are not reliable if you expecting to make a present on time. Absolutely waste of time

I've been ordering expresso beans from this place since 2016. They are always friendly and the beans are wonderful. I got a new machine last year. Thank you Anthony's for keeping my mornings running smoothly.

I bought a Ceado E37J Espresso Grinder, it looks used, the burrs have a lot of chips on the edges.

P. S the seller wrote to me that all the coffee grinders he sells have the same type of millstones, and refuses to change the millstones. I strongly advise against buying coffee grinders from this seller. It is absolutely clear that if part of the cutting edge is missing, then this part of the edge will not cut.

Have purchased two espresso machines, two grinders, coffee beans etc from Anthony's in the last year. Their service is excellent, prompt and very human. We live in BC and the shipping is never an issue. Have used the online chat service to answer questions and get help with orders and it is the best chat service I have used.

After 18 beautiful years, I replaced my Saeco Incanto with a new Philips 5400 LatteGo. Dealing with Anthony's was easy - both the storefront and website are very well laid out, so everything went perfectly! In particular, I praise Hector (technician) and Veronica (customer service). I really appreciate their honest advice (no hard-selling) and for going the extra mile to figure out the vagaries of on-line payments.

Don't buy from here at all. I purchased a gaggia classic pro which turned out to be used. The Portafilter was broken, and it wouldn't fit in correctly. One filter basket was missing, the steam wand wasn't generating steam correctly and it was making creaking sounds when I moved it. I complained about it and I was told that they can fix it for a cost and that all gaggia is like this. I've used the gaggia classic pro which other family members have and it's completely different and functional. Now I have an overpriced espresso machine that can't steam milk with a broken portafilter. I wasted a good $700 here.

These guys don't like to sale parts, only leave it for repair 3 to 4 weeks or buy some expensive beaten up used coffee machines that people left there for expensive repair services. Won't recommend or go there again.

Don’t get repair service in this place! Large chance you will lose your deposit and didn’t get repair. Their repair service is just joke! I dropped off my espresso machine, paid$60 and wait more than a month, I was told repair cost will more than $250 and possible can’t be repair well. But my machine just have a pump water issue and only 1.5 year old. Actually the same model in Costco is $280, Amazon is $330 but their price is $430. The deposit they only allow to use as credit for purchasing new machine cannot be used for coffee beans or other accessories. However, their price is $100 more, so even you use the $60 credit purchase a new you till pay more.

In the hunt for a Philips 5400 automatic expresso machine, that is sold out in the US.

Contacted Anthony’s and they had one stock but are not yet set up to ship to the US.

I asked if I purchased it online, and set up my own shipping and customs clearance if they would allow the carrier to get the package.

They accepted that route and helped every step of the way, and even dropped the package off at UPS after UPS failed to pick it up 2 days in a row.

Can’t wait to receive it!

Just had an opportunity to visit for the very first time and it was a great experience. I spoke with Steven directly and he helped me pick out a great machine that allowed me to get what I really wanted for my new office!

Cant wait to use my new Delonghi with all of my staff and will definitely be coming back again!

I've brought my Espresso machine to this place twice for repairs. The first time it was just for service. This time it's for service and repair. In both occasions, they told me it would take 1 to 1.5 weeks.the first time it took about a month. This time, it's been 3 weeks today, and they tell me exactly what they said last week: that I should be getting a call within a week. This place gives you timelines that they cannot keep. We have a restaurant, and not having our machine for weeks is a bad thing. I understand if they are very busy, but why are they not honest from the beginning and tell you it will be at least a month? Find a different option if you can.

Anthony's Espresso are nothing but crooks. They take your money without repairing your machine properly. Then they give you a list of things that might break down so when you go back in two weeks for another repair, they say they warned you and charge you again! They do not service the machines honestly. They leave certain things so you go back for another repair and then they push buying a new machine. They lie and cheat their customers to charge more! Never go here. Their service and customer interaction is pitiful.

Just spent several hundred bucks at this dump only to have my machine returned to me still not working correctly and will missing screws and the ones that were installed were loose. 1 screw was 3.5 turns loose that doesn't happen in transport that happens when you hire really bad technicians who can't even repair equipment they're supposed to be trained on.

Well. I gotta say. This company checks off all the boxes on superior customer service.

I placed an order about a week ago. I didn’t see any mention of there being any type of threshold amount before signature was required at delivery. So I happily placed an order (I sat on my choice too long. Researching the difference between all the LATTEGO models and the one I ended up wanting. Was sold out. Literally “1” hour after I last saw it) had my heart set on getting it. For my birthday which is next month)

So the order goes through fine. I even entered in the discount. But. Because I was paying by alternative method it took me off site to finish the checkout. I had to go to work. This was all around 6: 30-7 am. I get off work. That night. To sit down and realize. The discount. Didn’t apply. But the free coffee did. Now the ad didn’t say you pick one or anything. But. I assumed that’s probably the reason. But. I reached out to ask anyways. Can’t hurt right?

Turns out. You do get the 10% off and the free coffee beans. They went ahead (my order had shipped by now it was the next day) and reimbursed me the $150 off my order.

All was good. Until I saw it was shipping by canpar. Now I’ve had a few hiccup orders with canpar (from other merchants, in the past) so I wasn’t overly thrilled by the idea canpar was handling my special gift. But. Whatever. Can’t change it now. Well. Everything was good. They were on schedule to come Friday. On Thursday morning 9 am it still said it was coming Friday. Then shortly around noon. It suddenly messaged me saying it missed me no one was home. (Thursday!). Well. I’m injured. And my work hours do not allow me to go pick up at their depot. Their depot hours are super short. Like 8 am to 6 pm. Most people. Have a day job. So. Me working 8: 30 to 5 and taking transit… I couldn’t pick this up even if I could carry it. So…. I asked for a refund. They apparently don’t allow orders over $400 to be liability release signed. Customer actually has to be home during delivery.

Now here’s the part that set them apart from most merchants. I expected they would at least deduct the original shipping (I mean, I did go back to the site after this issue started and did find in their self help fine print section that they do state you can’t do safe drop over $400). But they actually did a full refund. This surprised me.

Being a huge fan of online shopping so far to date I’ve never encountered a limit yet. For safe drop. I believe amazon is like $2000 which I’ve never ordered anything that expensive. But I did this year order a leather power recliner for $2500 and it was dropped off just fine. So. I guess I should start checking. Before ordering

Overall. This company is really amazing, fast at responding to messages, and they shipped out the order so fast it puts Amazon to shame. My only suggestion is maybe include a pop up message in the checkout process that tells people that orders over $400 cannot be safe dropped. Because. Had I known? I would of asked for delivery to a CANADA POST depot. Which does open past 6 pm. And Uber ride is just $16. But. Canpar? Is in Surrey. I don’t even want to know how much the ride to pick up from Surrey would be?

Don't ever by parts from them. They are final sales. I did not know until the part that I got from them did not function as it has to. I contacted them and the answer is all parts purchased are final. I also clearly state that the part they sent to me was factory defect but they insisted that I couldn't exchange or return. Very disappointed with this store and will never by anything from them again. Go to amazon or somewhere else if you can find them since their return/exchange policy is no way local store can beat. I want to support local store but I need to think again with their policy.

Bought my first espresso machine there! Linda in sales is very knowledge and showed me the variation of the machines they offer. They have many different brands for commercial and residential uses; definitely a must see to check out instead of blindly buying it online. The Lelit Anna machine was on sale and taxes included; prices better than online. She also matched some accessories I added with the prices I saw online, so it was great! I can't wait to try my first barista experience!

Kept my machine for 3 months. Were rude when I decided to not fix it and threatened to charge my card for the loaner if I didn't bring the machine back that day. Service was subpar and customer service was disgusting.
Update: 2021-12-29 I went to open my machine for the first time since I got it back and the mechanism is broken so the machine is totally broken. I would stay as far away from this place as possible.

Just purchased a machine here this morning, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I've had shopping for anything in my life ever. The incredibly sweet Joe was happy to show every little detail of each machine, and indulged all of my questions. There was no upselling, pressure or skeevy tactics used in the sale at all. I highly recommend Anthony's Espresso Equipment!

I really wanted the Philips 3200 Latte Go and was so pleased to find it in stock at this store. The shipping was quick and the machine works wonderfully. My low rated is due to the bad service I received. The website says a free bag of coffee beans will be included as well as there were additional promotions at the time of purchase. I did not receive the coffee or additional promotion items nor have they responded to my 3 emails. Not the service I would expect when purchasing a high ticket item.

This place has Terrible service! I came in to purchase a descaler and some parts for my Espresso machine which I have done from this place in the past. I was utterly shocked and disturbed at how I was treated. Basically they did not want to sell me these items and told me to order online. I had made the trip and was Standing in front of them, as well as being a past client, I should have been served and not sent away. They took more time to argue with me instead of just sell me the parts. Zero customer service!

I dealt with Anthony's Expresso a few years back to fix a Delonghi espresso machine, and was very happy with his professional and prompt service. When time came to purchase a new machine Anthony's had the model I wanted at a competitive price plus it was shipped to my house. I'm very happy with my new machine and will go there for future repairs or purchase. Thank you.

I recently bought a super automatic machine from Anthony's and the experience was great from start to finish. This is where you want to buy your machines. However, what's better and what's going to keep me coming regularly is their house brand beans. The price suggests that they're value propositions, but the quality of the roasts, freshness of the beans, and taste is as good as any high end bean out there.
I found my staple in the Caffe Mia blend, which is high intensity but non acidic.

After cautioning me that Saeco no longer made parts for my 10 year old Via Venizia, the guys here fixed my split boiler perfectly. They also did a number of other fixes and a descaling for no extra charge. The machine is running like new! I can’t say enough good things about Anthony Espresso. It’s nice to still have places that will actually fix broken things that you love, instead of just always throwing it away.

Took my machine in for service ant I was told they would not be able to look at my machine for 2 weeks or more. They called me 3 weeks in and said I needed a water pump. I agreed to proceed with repairs. Got my machine back and 2 weeks later it broke down again. So I took the cover off to see inside.there were screws missing everywhere and heater was completely off its mounts. This caused the transmission to fail. This would cost me another $350-700 on top of the 260 for the pump.
They clearly did not put this back together and caused it to fail. I don't recommend this place for repairs.

No star for this place. They take your spressp machine and they charge you $60 in advance for assessments and they 14 days to get back to you. Never going back to this place.

If you're looking for a new or used machine look no further. Amazing array of machines to buy. They service and sell. Also they will make you an espresso to try out the machine you have your eye on. I love that they bring in various beans and especially love that they bring in beans from local roasters such as propeller. Id like to see some options from more roasters such as detour, reunion, hale, pilot, social etc.would also LOVE LOVE to see some offerings from other Canadian roasters outside the GTA such as 49th parallel, St Henri, Milano, Transcend, Phil & Sebastian, Bean north, Fratello etc.

People decided to dispose my machine even though it was repairable, according to them. They disposed it because I didn't come to pick it up on time without any notice about disposal. My next steps is to report to the BBB. It feels like they use your machine as a part for other repairs. Stay away from this shop.

Amazing experience with Anthony's. My husband and I having been looking for a new espresso machine for a long time and the service we received from Daniela was truly outstanding. She helped answered our millions of questions we had and was very knowledgeable. With all her help and expertise made our decision a much easier one. We are so happy with our Saeco Picobaristo and we are so glad that we bought from Anthony's we won't go anywhere else, best service we have ever received!

Great Service
The measure of a business is not what they do when things go well, but what they do when they don't.
I took my cappuccino maker in for repair. Unfortunately, it came back with the same problem. I returned it and explained the problem. I live a distance from the shop-something staff knew. Anthony's attempted to fix it while I waited and when the problem would not resolve, shipped it to me free of charge.as well as not charging me for the repair. You can't ask for more than that.
Would recommend Anthony's to anyone needing a cappucino machine, coffee or supplies.
