This gym is way too crowded and has passive aggressive signs everywhere. Don’t come here unless you wish to be infantilized.

Only go because it's convenient. Every other aspect is lacking. Every other gym I've been to is better.

Good gym, a tad on the small size. With how busy it gets you can be waiting for equipment for quite some time. Also wish they had a hack squat and maybe one or two more adjustable benches.

Owners her supported the freedumb convoy when they came last year and supplied accommodate for them when they were here. Do not recommend. Manager is a c hunt.

This gym has a lot of space but still feels undersupplied. No stair master either which sucks. Also.whats with all the very unfunny passive aggressive signs all over? Not the permenant signage but these signs from the office printer that say stuff like, would you wear your dirty boots in grandmas house? Do you need the unicorns to rerack your weights properly? Really dumb. Who ever puts these up, is dumb.

I joined Anytime Fitness 2 months ago it suits what I need:
Access to the gym at anytime, new and updated cardio equipment and a good range of weights and other equipment. Central and close to transit, it is convenient for me to get en route to and from work. The guy who signed me up, I think Marcus who is the new manager there, was friendly and very helpful, explaining my options not just for membership, but also answered any questions I had about certain equipment and exercises. I was a member of another gym and I felt a lot of pressure from the sales guy and completely opposite experience here with Marcus. I only met two other staff members and they are congenial as well. I appreciate the rule Anytime Fitness has about shoes and the cleanliness of the gym which makes working out there comfortable. The gym is amazing and so glad I found it!

Terrible staff plus the whole hallway smells like se men.

Terrible gym. So so glad I finally got out of the 6 month contract. No AC, bare bare minimum of a gym (take in, it’s approx 32$ bi-weekly!). The staff is rude except for one guy called Mike or something, the rest are awful. There is a hugeeee bug and insect problem in this gym especially by the door. As I train, I conveniently get bit by mosquitos, and God knows what other kinds of tropical rainforest damn insects I seen in there. Just drive 4 more mins and you’ll find a much better gym than this….

Terrible staff! This gym has enough amenities but you will regret the membership at this location once you start dealing with its staff. I’ve never been treated as bad at any gym. They are neglectful of customers and rude as well.

Why the hell isn’t there AC? We are charged about $30 biweekly. It’s so stuffy in here, especially due to lack of space. This is UNSAFE in the summertime, especially with Covid. You’d think they’d take precautions here. Gross.

Safe, clean, and friendly! Big shout out to Ashley and the team for keeping this place thriving these last few years.

4 months ago when I enjoyed anytime fitness I was speaking to the coworkers who was working over there I ask him how much was the price to enjoy the gym he didn’t answer me after 2 weeks he charged me 28.50 I ask him why he said this full service gym I was laughing I said wow this is full-service gym then how come there no swimming pool and Jacuzzi and more others I went there to cancel the membership and he was mad and upset he was speaking rude to me, and in the beginning told me 150 to cancel the membership and then sad no it’s 96.65 I thought he’s the owner of the gym but he’s not, the owner call me And he apologize to me for everything that happened, he was very nice talking to me appreciate your called thank you.

Nice gym, a bit small but being part of a larger chain somewhat makes up for it. My only real wish was for another power rack, and the two they have there are always in use during more busy hours.

The smallest and least kept up of the Anytime gyms I've been to. It's disappointing that this is the only one in centretown/downtown.

It gets three stars because of the size. It is on the small size, but has all the equipment needed for a good workout.

Very disappointed. Took over someones membership and excluded the month to month auto renew option. They went ahead and applied it anyways I learned later, at a higher price and with additional fees. I tried to cancel asap only to learn that they have set up this impossible obstacle course to cancelling your membership. They have no e-mail, no number you can call. They outsource their billing questions phone number to another company so they can both point the finger at each other. This is a legit scam company.

Excellent location, I like being able to walk here from my downtown apartment. Unfortunately, the membership rates (~$50-60/mth) reflect the cost of having an expensive downtown location and leaves little left over for gym upgrades. It's a small gym with limited equipment. Doesn't even have kettle bells. Treadmills don't have speed interval training programs. No stairmaster. All other Anytime Fitness gyms I've been to have had more equipment. The good news is your membership lets you access any Anytime fitness gym which is great for me since I travel a lot.

This is a place that exists. This is the bare minimum of what you can have and call a place a gym. The staff was very, just, weird. It’s like they had never seen see people come into their gym before. Thankfully we were stopping by for a week. I couldn’t imagine trying to get any sort of motivation/ gains in this facility.
It was small. I have been in hotel gyms larger than this. Seriously crazy small. I could image more that 10 people working out in this place at once.
If you want to check some place out, look at 613lifts. That place was legit if your serious about working out.

I've been working out here for a while and would never do so if the gym was close to me. The manager is extremely rude and needs a few lessons in treating his customers with respect. Unsurprisingly I am not the only one here to share this review. Will definitely share my experience with anyone who asks.

Was a good gym, but when signing up a while ago I explicitly remember signing up for 7 months and not indefinitely and have been receiving bills since then.

Really good location and machines. Could be cleaner though. The bathrooms are always soaking wet because people don’t dry themselves in the shower (did your parents not teach you this?) and the new addition with carpet smells like feet because I assume it just captures all the sweat from everyone. Hope they shampoo it regularly.

They advertise free wifi but block the port for apps like Spotify so you have to use data.

Another thing is the size. It’s small, but not necessarily cramped. However I’ve frequently seen 3-4 employees doing workouts during peak hours. I don’t get that, it’s small enough as it is, why are the employees contributing to the congestion?

If they can fix these somewhat simple issues I’m sure the reviews will improve.

I like going there but it gets busy very fast and not enough washrooms for a central downtown busy location.
