My family and I had our car break down on the highway on our way back home from vacation. A trooper pulled over behind us and offered to call a tow for us. About an hour later, Anytime Towing showed up and told us that it would be almost $600 for the 20-minute tow to the Peace Bridge border crossing. When I questioned why it was so much, he said "Well, I could just leave you here. Don't have much of a choice do you? " Even the trooper was pleading our case, telling the driver that that was borderline extortion. The driver just shrugged his shoulders. Not having any options, we agreed and got on our way. About 5 minutes from the border, the driver says "Oh I forgot to mention that I'm going to need $30 cash for the toll crossing". I didn't have any cash on me and informed him so. He wasn't happy about that, but regardless still dropped us off at Peace Bridge.
Beware using this company. They are opportunists and vultures.
