I took my friends iPad in to replace a cracked screen. I was approached by an employee as soon as I entered the store. They were very polite and took me right to the area of the store to get the proper assistance. I had to wait awhile, but the person who looked at it knew right away it was just the screen protector! Very good service all around.

Yesterday I come this place for repair my 16inch MacBook Pro at Genius Bar! And meet with tech woman with disrespectful specs.and problem is, after factory reset Mac is not opening! And she said I burn the logic board! I dont care have AppleCare plus but it isn't burn she doesn't know anything about laptops! And she said I put laptop there 2 weeks to change logicboard! And I take laptop today to byward apple and tech repair it only 10min infront of me! Beware apple ur losing so much money like this low lvl tech! Give 2 stars cos have very good experience before in this shop!

Terrible customer experience. I went to the store to buy one missing AirPod. 10+ staff standing around doing nothing, but I was told I would have to wait 30 minutes for an appointment at the “Genius Bar”. I was told the staff standing around are not trained in getting an AirPod.

Although it was super busy. I had great care from staff. Highly reccommend this location! I'm terrible bad with names but my sales person along with the (highly energetic) guy helping me transfer from my old iphone to my new iphone were a pleasure to deal with! I will be back!

Following a phone call with Apple support, I was directed to this location for a replacement phone. Although I had an appointment, I had to wait 15-20 minutes to see someone. This person was rude, dismissive and did nothing to help with my issue. They just sent me home. VERY disappointed with this chaotic and unhelpful "service". Apple should be ashamed and staff at this location seriously need training in customer service!

My daughter wanted to get a computer for when she starts University in the fall. She went to the store. They wouldn’t accept a partial payment with me paying the balance over the phone as I was out of the country. She was told I needed to be there. That I understand. They told her they would reserve it until tomorrow under her name. My husband showed up about 5 hrs later to pay for it. They could not find the reservation for my daughter. Very poor customer service. My husband went in the next day and they finally figured it out.

I waited an hour to just buy an iPad. I thought I would just be in and out. They’re too short staffed, order online. It shouldn’t take an hour for me to do something at this store that it would take 5 mins to do at Best Buy. Don’t even bother coming here unless you need support

Visited the Apple Store on May 17th, needed help with the set up of a new iPad Air. I was helped by Ethan, friendly and helpful. Everything looked good in my new shiny iPad, all the apps were showing but I did not check the applications, mainly photos and Apple mail, which have not downloaded and I had to return to the store in the evening needing an additional help. This time Wei - very friendly, very accommodating (she was also helping other customer at the table) most knowledgeable and helpful completed the download and I was a happy customer, in no time, on my way home.

I am victim of the keyboard issues which Apple launched a keyboard repair program. I tried calling this store just to be just transferred to a helpdesk. When I asked too helpdesk to transfer me to this store to ask questions about the keyboard repair and how long for a repair, they told the helpdesk agent they do not take phone call and to book an appointment. I'm over 1 hour away, I don't want to waste my time to know how long it will take to repair or if they have to mail it in because that is not an option for me. They refused to take my call!? Helpdesk managed to push through my call, spoke at the store with Degang!? Refused to have my question asked for keyboard repair timeline to a technician.book an appointment, drive over an hour, probably wait days then drive back.
This is terrible customer service and support. Apple is not the best product if they cannot support

The shops are okay, but the food court is so-so and the transit station is totally confusing, no one knows where to catch your bus. I wouldn't take public transit there until the construction of is finished.

February 12th, 2022 between the hours of 3: 00 PM - 4: 30 PM:

The girlfriend and I went to pickup her MacBook after display servicing, it was a beautiful day, everything went smooth until a very disgruntled & disrespectful employee in his early 30’s, short hair, lightly trimmed beard with Arab ethnicity started behaving aggressively with my girlfriend. (she is Arab, as well)

He did not greet us nor welcome us to the store, directly went asking if we were the persons named X listed on his iPad.

After acknowledging our names on the system, he then proceeded by swiftly opening the service packaging and smacking the laptop on the table. Within a few seconds, he asked us if we had any questions (note: it takes a few seconds for the laptop to even power up)

My girlfriend replied “give us a minute” and he asked again if we had any “questions” in a louder pitch and formidable voice.

He, aggressively told my girlfriend to stop “showing him an attitude”

I, then countered by asking him to at least let the computer password and respect his customers in store, properly. The customers next to us were staring in shock.

I notified a manager about this incident although doubtful any action will follow.

Long story short, he might have been having a bad day but that does not give him the position to disrespect, abuse and shout at a customer.

I will be following up with Bayshore Apple in regards to this incident and update all of you.

If any manager is seeing this, take notes. We felt embarrassed, belittled and was verbally harassed.

I’m a bit baffled by the incompetence of the staff working here. I took my MacBook in for repair, and when I showed them the issue, they immediately and incorrectly assumed it was a fault with the logic board and told me the repair would be $700. I asked for a triage, and they said they’d have a look. This was 6: 40PM, and literally at 8: 30AM the next day, they told me the triage was complete - so they only took 30 minutes to look at the issue. Again, same story, logic board issue and they couldn’t fix the issue, advised I buy a new MacBook instead. Later today, I plug it into an external monitor, and voila, MacBook is working fine. I’m a bit baffled that the the business model of Apple is to lie to their customers about an old laptop having a problem that wasn’t there, and then trying to convince them to buy a brand new one instead. I already paid $1500+ for your device, and having it fail within 5 years (and calling it a legacy laptop) and asking me to dish out another 2 grand is absurd. Thanks for selling me a device that’s next to impossible to repair, and then lying to my face about having a problem on it.

I went to the Baystore store to get my iPhone repaired. Rebecca S.was able to diagnose the cause of the my phone problem very quickly - a hardware failure that caused very low phone call volume - and offered a very quick and generous repair service. She was very courteous and carefully followed the Covid protocols. It was a wonderful trip to the store in person. Thank you Rebecca, thank you Apple! A happy long-time customer.

Bought a MacBook Air in a very seamless experience with a tech specialist who patiently and accurately answered my father's questions and made sure AppleCare would be available in the country where my father resides.

No pushy sales tactics and unbiased advice. We ended up not purchasing Apple Care at the time of the purchase, as that will be purchased separately later. Fantastic experience!

The staff are great and the store is cool I just wish they had a better way of sorting who is next and assigning a number for genius bar appointments. It always seems like you are being forgotten while you wait.

I've had good experiences and bad here. I've dealt with a couple of "geniuses" that had attitude problems. I always thought that Apple screened out those people, but maybe they're less picky now.

We needed help with a new Iphone so visited Apple Bayshore on the afternoon of 15 November and were very impressed by the help we received from two of the staff who assisted us. They were patient helpful and capable. Unfortunately I cannot contact anyone in authority or even in person to mention names and compliment them.

The kids working in the store tried to help (one star each) but the business model is a tacky 2 bit 3 for a nickle low class trash operation. Extremely difficult to buy and pay for an expensive package. They would not prepare an order and have it ready at the cash. They would only hold/assemble the expensive parts not the less expensive ones even though you need them to make it all coordinate and the store didn't have all the parts. Couldn't do it online cause site glitchy

First time purchase at an Apple store, in and out in 20 minutes!
Great service by knowledgeable staff, fast and efficient from start to end of the purchasing process.
Very impressive!
Only minor caveat was lack of bilingual or French speaking staff.

Brand new iMac (bought online) was defective and we took back to Apple Bayshore for repairs. Upon return, the item was scratched. They didn't want to take it back for refund because of Covid (but they took it to repair it, so conflict of interests). Had to return it by mail. People a friendly (at least most) but service is not as good as expected.

The Security guards have to chill out, they give a pass for nice girls (stand out of the marks) but if you (male) is an inch behind the friking mark they come to you like you are a criminal.

Had an issue with my iPhone 11 Pro Max camera and booked a Genius appointment on a Thursday. First, greeted by security who scanned my forehead and directed me to the appointment line (there was another line for pick-up orders). Needless to say, the lines were 2 or 3 people long at most. I was with a genius within minutes, and he helped diagnose the issue. Agreed on a pick up time (1hr) and they had my phone fixed under warranty. The store itself was quick and efficient, and staff were friendly!

My only gripe is that you could enter the mall through one door (by the Winners in the back parking lot). You wouldn’t be able to tell that the other doors are locked… From there, there was a service desk where you have to check-in/check-out.

Great experience! I had booked appointments for a device repair and it went by very smoothly. Janet is the person who helped me. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. She was very patient and double checked with the Genius Bar associates about alternatives if I asked for any. The wait time was very little.

Not a pleasant experience at this store: (I wanted to purchase an IPhone and apple watch for my spouse for the international women's day. Checked the website, IPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple watch 6 was in stock at this location so I rushed to get it. Wishful thinking. The greetings I got was rather self-important person at the entrance, who asked me about 5 questions about the reason for my visit only to announce that since I did not have an appointment, I could not enter the store that day. Why asking questions then? Just say you won't let me in right away.or have I failed the quiz? It didn't say on their website I'll need an appointment.or to pass the quiz. I would have prepared better if it did:) Anyhow, I did not need to pass a quiz to enter Samsung store.and given the fact that Galaxy S21 Ultra is considered the best smartphone on the market, my spouse got a better present. Oh, and I'm actually typing this on my brand new Samsung Note Used to love Apple.but apparently they didn't care.well, sorry guys, we have just parted ways. It's not me, it's you.

Went in today as I needed to exchange an item and needed assistance with challenges I was having with a different product then the exchange and John was absolutely lovely, helpful, kind and approachable for the exchange, he was amazing! I then seen Sam/Sammy for my IT challenge and, he was very kind and helpful also. Great experience all around. I am also germaphobic and just had major surgery so am apprehensive about going out but, the guys disinfecting everything, security screening me made me feel at ease. Thank you.

For a company so focused on innovation, it’s surprising that they’re so lacking in their covid protocols. So much inefficiency and lack of respect for customers. Waiting to get help here is an absolute pain.

I wasted two hours of my time to be told I couldn’t be helped. Don’t know why the first 4 people didn’t tell me that before they made me wait for 2 hours. So much for the prioritization of customer experience at Apple, instead just drop $$$$ to be given 0 help in return.

I got an iphone xs and after a year and a half it completely stopped turing on. After going to this trash store, they completely denied my request to get it fixed and instead self promoted and requested beggingly that I buy the iphone 11 for full price. I left the store in disappointment to come home to write this message. Apple is the worst store ever. Would not recommend. Apple users are a whole lot or dumb employers

Always friendly. It seems that whenever im just browsing the products I get offered help like 3 times and when I go in ready to buy a product everyone is busy or chatting away among each other. Lil funny/annoying in moment. Overall good service.

Had to come to this store after Apple Rideau didn't have what I needed, they took me in without having to set up a new appointment. They resolved the issue in a hassle free manner & had professional standards in handling COVID 19 pre cautions. Will be coming back in future for anything related to Apple.

Had a genius bar appointment @ 5: 45. Arrived at 5: 35pm to find a line to join. Signed in with a staff member, then was put through additional health screening (why do they require a temperature check and no other store does?) Then made to stand in line in close proximity to others waiting for 20 minutes until our 'genius' presented (10 min late) While waiting, almost the entire store was empty except for plentiful staff. Customers were being turned away because shopping is by appointment only, and the reservations were full for the night. This far into COVID, really poor management of the store. Most businesses have managed to adapt without treating their customers like vermin, why can't Apple? Given the already high price of the products, we won't pay for this kind of treatment again.

They really mean business. Everything is organized and handled at the highest level possible. Most of other retailers should take a hard look at how Apple conducts their customer business. I am not an Apple products user. It was my first interaction and I left their store extremely impressed!

Traveled 90 minutes to get told outside the bayshore apple store, to book an appointment online, after we called the store 24hrs earlier to check on macbook pro stock and was never told to book an online appointment, when visiting the store.
Unhelpful ignorant staff.

Today I came for repair my MacBook for an appointment at the Genius Bar and was screamed at by multiple staff members for not knowing where to go. They made me wait in three different lines outside the store and get a “health check”, if they just let me go in the store I would have been able to encounter significantly less people. It’s completely un obvious where you’re supposed to wait or go to get into the store. Staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. I ended up being 15 minutes late to my appointment from all the waiting the staff made me do. I would avoid this store at all costs.

Extremely rude Apple leader employee at Bayshore Mall; Red head/red bearded man was being awfully sarcastic, and entitled when speaking to me as I was trying to explain a headphone jack problem that I had been having with my Iphone for the passed 24hours. We were also discussing my warranty and he had tried to convince me that my warranty had ended a week before (on December 21st) than it actually did. He was being extremely defensive when I offered to show him the actual receipt for the Apple care that stated the expiry date was Indeed the 26th of December. He had been very reluctant to acknowledge the proof I had in my email. After seeing it he still proved to be no help. Being extremely belittling towards me and my daughter as I was explaining the issue very clearly, replying with dry and unhelpful remarks like "yeah okay. " Being extremity dismissive. As if what we were saying wasn't valuable or valid peices of information to the issue. He had said that we best go speak on the phone with Apple Care, because they wouldn't be able to help me. What’s the point of going to the store if they’re not there to help, and are just going to tell you to go online. He was acting like he knew what he was talking about but when I spoke with Apple care on the phone they explained how what he said was in fact false about my warranty. They act as thought their customers are a nuisance — your job is to hell APPLE’s clients so DO IT.

Forewarning you all; if you have a technical issue and you decide you would like to go the acctual Apple Store for help. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY HE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO HELP. Not my first run in with him either.

Thankfully I'm not the only one who thinks this as I see others have made similar reviews about the same red headed Man.

Back when I had an iPhone 7, I went to get it diagnosed for a sound problem. The diagnostic was quick then, I got my phone replaced for free. Did the entire process in under 45 minutes.

Nice attendants, very polite, but not very organized since they take first come first serve on repairs. They should have a line form with sign, and not have a line formed in the middle os the store, making people traffic more difficult

Absolutely stellar service! I was in the store recently to upgrade one of my devices and treat extremely well. My Apple a specialist was Ryan and he was amazing! Ryan was quite knowledgeable and there was no pressure at all! Great store with everything from sales to accessories to service and educational sessions all under one room!

Very bad customer service in this Apple Store. I've been using apple devices for more than six years, I wouldn't complain the product itself as it's great, but I have to say the customer service in Bayshore Center Apple Store is extremely disappointing. They refused to do walk-in service even I had confirmed with Apple support that walk-in service should be allowed. Then the earliest appointment for me is two weeks after. When I brought my iPhone 6s and iPad over for changing battery by appointment, the staff refused me again, saying that I can only do one item at an appointment. Ok, I can accept all those process stuff, what made me really upset was their attitude. I don't feel they really want to help you out. They didn't tell you what's my situation, they ignored my request, they couldn't estimate the waiting time thus asked me come back to pick up my phone 6 hours later or another day. Now I haven't got my phone yet, will see if my phone can work properly after changing battery. Overall, it was the worst Apple Store that I've ever experienced in my life!

I have iphone 7, after 13 months of having it when i update the phone it broke down, i can't make phone calls the mic stopped working, i went to the apple store they said oh you have to buy new one this phone doesn't have warranty any more because it's pass the one year warranty, so funny how they deal wigh people they just wanna make money.

Excellent customer service! My friend and I went to Apple to have the battery replaced on our phones. I brought my son’s phone with me as well, not knowing I would need two separate appointments. My assigned customer service rep. Gabriel said “no problem! ” and did them both. I then told Gabriel, the young man who was helping my friend would not allow her to do her phone and her daughters phone at the same time. Again he said “no problem”. He moved to his next customer and did her phone and my friends phone at the same time! !
This young man not only knows what great customer service is but he has an amazing work ethic as well. A huge Kuods to Gabriel! Give this man a raise! Can’t thank you enough. Also thanks to Alex who brought our phones to us. He was very professional and friendly. He taught me how to use Apple Pay when I was leaving. Apple Bayshore rocks!

I drove from smiths Falls. On Saturday morning for a friend to get his iPhone fixed. We know there was going to be a wait but was like two hours and the service wasn’t the greatest. They fixed the phone how ever it went back to not working state. Went back again waited even longer 4 hours. Then they say they can’t replace the phone just the display. Now we are going to have to come back again. Thanks so much apple dint recommend to anyone. Stay away from this store and there workers.
