Called a day before, and the receptionist booked the appointment for 3: 30 but then when i got there the next day! She said it was at 2: 30 instead of offering me to wait a little, she asked me to go home and try tomorrow. Horrible receptionist.

An improvement over my previous dentist although anyone with so much as a pulse is an improvement.

One aspect I liked over my two or three visits was that they were timely. They were never late. The clinic is super clean and ultramodern in décor and technology.

Funny story, a 2016 survey from CBC Marketplace stated that only nine (9) percent of Canadians completely trusted their dentist. It makes you wonder with all these 5-star reviews for dentists everywhere in Milton.that only 9 percent of us completely trust our dentist?

I find that the hiring at this clinic tends to be rather ageist. All young females under twenty five. Oh wait, there is, or was, a more mature, yet very friendly, woman at the reception desk on a couple of visits. With an abundance of youth comes a rather informal atmosphere. Not that I believe the place should be run like Parris Island Marine Corps boot camp, but I’d rather not hear all that high schoolish banter being slung around the office. I feel like I'm back in my high school cafeteria. One down.

At the time of my last visit I was still on blood pressure medication. The young hygienist, did I mention they're all young (!), politely insisted on putting my arm in the cuff for the blood pressure monitor. I was scheduled for a tooth cleaning and not a quadruple bypass. I heard of being thorough, I've been on these pills for over 20 years, and that has never happened at a dentist before. It’s just rather invasive and insensitive. I don't need that attention. Two down.

Sports paraphernalia everywhere. We lived just around the corner from that car dealership in Port Credit almost a quarter of a century. You got it. "Who’s paying for this this place? " 200 dollars for a dental checkup and cleaning, and no X-rays mind you.

In that previously mentioned survey from CBC Marketplace, 60 percent of Canadians are putting-off dental treatments simply because they cannot afford it. Gee, I wonder why? Three down.

Add-on sales. Yes, the ubiquitous night guard. The dentist will comment that "you seem to be grinding your teeth at night". Maybe I'm wondering what my next dental bill will be? This place is not so bad, they don’t recommend the veneering or the bleaching and all the rest of it…but once they find you have insurance? Add-on sales. The dentist, young and female naturally, came to see me at the end of my cleaning and recommend the night guard. I don't remember there even being a discussion of the status of my teeth, this being a check-up, after all? Nope, straight to the add-on sales. I tell her I’m not interested but she said she’ll send me a quote anyway. Necessary funds for another autographed hockey jersey?

Oh, that article from CBC Marketplace about the dentistry profession in Canada? It is a twelve billion dollar a year industry.that's a 12 and 9 zeroes. The quote arrived in the mail or by email, I can't recall as I chucked it in the garbage. Four down. Adios amigos.

So six months later on I go to another dentist who promptly finds a hole at the side of one of my back teeth. I’m starting to wonder why Apple Dental didn’t pick it up with all the high-tech duodeckaphonic thingamajigees, the IMAX overhead projector screen showing your teeth halfway across the wall and the 481 people employed there? Either that or the new dentist is trying to con me? (Nine percent?) Regardless, the dentist showed me the tooth on the monitor. It could have been anyone's tooth? So he pulled out his phone to take another picture, yup my fat face alright, and I was finally convinced. I'm not a dentist, perhaps a hole can form on the side of your tooth over the course of six months? It really makes you wonder though. What did Apple Dental say i needed again, the night guard?

I'm not a customer at Apple Dental anymore. Certainly not the worst.

Thank God for Milton what with there being another dentist right up the road.

And no night guard add-on sales recommendations. Yet.

I can’t believe how above and beyond this dentist went for me!

I had a filling that was troublesome and he did everything in his power to try and avoid tooth removal.

He stayed past closing time and didn’t mind because it was important that I got the proper care.

I normally don’t write reviews but I truly believe this guy cares more about people than the business

Highly recommend!

I called to get information about the services and costs, and i dont receive a friendly answer and very low customer service approach. I was looking for services for my family in Milton as my dentist is in Mississauga. Very poor customer service approach.
