I was at the store to replace the battery. Nicole was very rude and disrespectful. She can simply not form us that they are busy and have to come back later. But her talk and her tone is rude. Nicole, just remember that you are a just a tech, not the owner or the franchisee of Apple.

So impressed with the associates at Apple Mapleview. Went in today to buy a new iPhone for me and have my husband’s iPhone moved to my old phone. Their patience and knowledge was over the top. They even paired our watches and hearing aids to the phones. Above and beyond anything we expected and such friendly and helpful people. Thank you!

The three star are for the rude behaviour while asking the in store representative if we could wait at another table where my sister was sitting. The person cut me off before finishing off my sentence and asked me not roam around. And this was the second time in 2 weeks that we went in and had been provided with rude customer service by the same person.

I was there to pick up my order. Rob was helping 2 customers at a time and was not paying any attention to my order. I felt like him being racist since he was helping other customer he just handed me my phone and accessory and kept serving the other one. I was patiently waiting there for my turn, I didn’t even rushed at all but I felt like he wanted to get rid of us. I am spending bloody more than 2 grands in your store at least show some courtesy and offer a bag. I noticed that every representative around the store was offering bags to the customer. This is a very small gesture but one can easily notice this. I found this very rude and disrespecting.

What an anxiety inducing experience! I brought my phone in to be repaired as my contract was ending with my carrier. So of course I got talked into an upgrade. Which I love because it comes with the satellite sos free for 2 years. This is a great feature for me.
So between running up and down between Telus and Apple three times, having two managers involved, having major confusion. The gentleman that was helping me didn’t know almost anything. The reason why managers had to get involved. Every question I had he had to ask, go find out. I think I was there for 4-6 hours. It was excruciating.
The noise level is beyond… I can’t even.
The lack of knowledge on behalf of the associate was unacceptable. He was very courteous and friendly. Tried to be helpful. Maybe he was new.
But I was very adamant about them explaining every single cost. Step by step. Because financially I need to be prepared. I need to know can I afford this?
So I get an outrageous bill. They “ forgot” to tell me the taxes of the phone would be on my first bill.
This was a fair amount of money for me I was not expecting.
I bought the Apple 14 and an Ottercase.
I definitely would love to never step foot in there again as long as I live. They need to design quiet spaces where ppl can wait comfortably. Being there for hours is hell!

A week ago, I started my day by accidentally spilling a full cup of coffee all over my new-ish macbook air, which I use for my work. Suffice to say I was having a terrible day. But my day changed thanks to amazing customer service I received, and in particular Genius Bar specialist named Natalia. When I arrived the staff helping people along the lines were able to promptly assist me in finding an appointment that day, they were helpful and kind. Natalia then went above and beyond to help me find quick solution. My family and I have been apple users (phones, computers, headphones, etc) for a long time, and Natalia exceed any customer servicer we've ever received. Thank you!

Tried phoning the store multiple times. Kept getting an automated answering service. Kept getting a busy signal and disconnecting. I must say, for a business that charges such a premium for their products, their customer service is atrocious. I will be shopping elsewhere entirely out of spite.

Really frustrating experience getting serviced by the Genius Bar. Made an appointment to get device tuned up and felt like I was waiting around for the most of my visit to be serviced. Not impressed with the customer service. I waited at least 30 minutes AFTER my device had finished updating software changes for the person to return and say I could go but my phone still needed to be restarted. Very inefficient service.

One of the few malls still around as so many change to big box format. Many stores to browse and shop conveniently in all weather. Lower level of Sears shop has been filled by sports store.

Apple doesn't deserve any star for this review.

I went to this store 3 times to get my IPhone XS Max fixed. First day they reset the phone and asked me to give it a try.i went their after 2 weeks because the problem didn't resolved. This time they did the analysis and said nothing is wrong with my phone even though it was showing on their screen that there is an issue with it. The guy called the store Manager Chris but it didn't help at all. He keep insisting that there is no issue with phone.

I am using IPhone since it came out first time in 2007.i never had this big issue with them.

I even told them to keep phone with you for troubleshooting but they said their policy doesn't allow them. After wasting my hours there, i threw phone on the table and walkaway.

Brought in 2 pair of airpods that failed. They were very well taken care of, one even never left the house. Both out of warranty by a couple of months. After a few tests was told too bad and out of luck. Need to buy new ones.

Worst Apple Store I've been to. I don't expect they type of service received from Apple, Walmart maybe, but not Apple, especially after spending $10,000+ in the last 6 months. The Manager, Sogol, has ZERO customer service. I even called Apple Support and they tried to speak to her since she was wrong, and she blatantly refused to speak to them and said she would not answer their call if they tried to call her.

I have to make time doing this review and share my wonderful experienced with Angie an associate in Apple store who helped me with dedication, patience, kindness and her passion of what she’s doing helping someone like me.
Am a retiree, senior who refused to own Apple Watch but because my son who surprised me gifting this I have to learn slowly all the benefits of the apps with confidence through the help of this amazing lady at iphone store located in Mapleview mall. Her name is Angie.
Thank you thank you so much. You should be applauded of the excellent customer service extended to me. Kudos to you.

The worst customer experience ever from a store! Brought a brand new MacBook Air that had a screen issue, was told by the “Genius” rep that I had to pay $600+ to fix the screen like are you kidding me. Went home and called customer service over the phone instead and they were happy to help and now they will be replacing my laptop at no cost. This location is such a scam, if anyone has issues with their Apple products that may need replacing or repairs I would think twice about stepping foot inside this location. That rep shouldn’t have a job here.

I booked my service appointment at 2: 45 pm and arrived at 2: 44. They checked me in and asked me to wait. And then……. I am still waiting its almost been an hour and I am still second in line. I asked what’s the point in booking the appointment online and the answer is, since all the problems have different solution time, we can’t say much. Wow, is this the Apple we’re dealing with or some cheap mobile repair shop?
I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO COME PREPARED FOR A LONGER WAIT TIME BEFORE VISITING THIS LOCATION.

I gotta say is it's pretty bad when the Apple tech guy at the store knows less than you about Apple product technology. No clue what DIMM meant. The guy also had no clue about the various 2020/2021 upgrades to Mac Pro 5,1's such as gigabyte Titan ridge thunderbolt adapter cards or Sonnet M. 2 SSD pci card's and NVMe ssd's. Main reason of my trip to the store was to find out if the GPU in my computer had died. All I needed them to do was hook it up to a display and they refused due to "COVID-19 restrictions" Also forget ever trying to reach the store by phone as they apparently only have one phone line even though it's 2021.all you will get is a busy signal or rerouted to apple support. It would have been nice to find out they wouldn't be of any assistance via phone instead of wasting gas and time.

Apple has strayed far from their roots. I used to love this company and now I have little respect for them.

Terrible customer service, constantly lying, and refusing to do any service on your product. Making excuses or asking you for an insane amount of money. Apple employees are consistently rude and entitled.

Wasted my valuable time and my money.

This specific location has been awful.

Wasn't too busy (Monday evening), most stores are back open. Staff were friendly as well, lots of happy people just glad to be able to go and shop around.

Zero stars. Made a mistake and had to reorder a new product at the store via curb side.

Shouldn't be a problem right? Was told the order needs 45 mins to go through their system. No problem, I can wait.

After 4pm can't be placed until the next day. The store closes at 7. That's just lazy. Theres 30 employees working and 5 customers. There are more apple employees than people in the entire mall. And you can't go pick something thats paid for off the wall and walk it out to a customer? It has nothing to do with government policies, I was very easily able to go to the rogers downstairs, walk up with no appointment and pay via card for the same product, no appointment whatsoever; Pandemic and all.

That's just bad service. F-

My ipad pro is bent. Apple acknowledges the problem. Says it is not a defect. My device will not turn on. That is a defect by any standard. What is going on!

There used to be a high standard of care at Apple; now there’s a whole lot of poindexters standing around not being useful to the 3 customers. Lots of misinformation; and when you call them on it, they get all defensive and block your calls. I don’t know who’s babysitting these rugrats but in the real world you don’t ignore and hide Afrom a disgruntled customer. If Jobs could see vid rotten apple now…

I took in my pair of beats by dre headphones because they were not pairing. The staff that helped me was able to pair to her iPad. She told me that the reason they weren't working for me is because they are not made for android devices.the powerbeats box has an android icon on it implying they are made for both android and Apple products, as well as there is an app for Android. She was totally unaware that there was an app in general
The lack of problem solving and knowledge was disappointing, staff was so quick to wash their hands of the problem and to blame it on having an android

I have to agree with the low ratings at this location. My recurring problem was absolutely dismissed as a defect. Manager certainly does not even attempt to understand customer service. (excuse the insult not personal)

Terrible customer service/experience. They're quick at selling "Apple Care" but cover nothing. Always looking for a way out, they don't cover anything. If they see a speck of dust on your device you'll be told "it was dropped".

I had an issue with a key board, they told me I must have spilled something on it, not covered.

Weeks later I stopped into a store in a different city and was told they had issues with these key boards and was replaced under warranty.

Don't trust what they tell you at this store, quick at pushing you out.

Brought in a 1 month old ipad to be fixed and was given an estimate as to when it would be ready of February 3rd. Called on the 5th to see what the status was and was told that someone would call back. Wasn't called back so called again today (on the 7th) and was on hold listening to their god-awful holding music when it would start ringing and ringing.eventually there would be a click then a dial tone. I did this twice! Hung up on both times! I don't care that it isn't ready on time, but just at least give me the decency to call back!

I would definitely not recommend selecting this place as pick up location for your order. They gave wrong package costed me $150 and refusal to any sort of compensation or customer care. Had to call 1800 number they happily agreed to compensate me for this store’s screw up. Very rude team leader employee.

I ordered iphone and paid someone to go pick up the phone and they screwed up gave my designated wrong product. Had to drive 100 km from niagara falls to come pick up rite product and they were very rude.

I visited this location with the intention of purchasing an Apple watch, I knew the exact model, band and color I wanted which you'd think would make things easy. When I entered the store there were maybe 12 customers in store. So I stand and wait by the Apple watches, looking around for an attendant to assist me, as they all seemed preoccupied. One attendant walks in my direction, I say hi to such he responds hi and he just continued walking away. I then go to someone and ask for assistance to which they say I need to speak to the "director" at the front. I go to her and say, I came to buy an apple watch, to which she responds I need to check in with her (as though me coming to her wasn't clear that, that's what I was doing). She then tells me that the same guy who walked past me will assist. I tell him what I'm looking for and he spends 5 minutes on his device doing God knows what, as he doesn't tell me anything. I tell him I'm parked right at the entrance and need to just run to the car and back rich would literally take a minute or less. He then says that he'll get the item out for me when I get back. So I ask, so you haven't requested it from the back as yet? To which he replies no. So I suggest, request it because it won't be out by the time I get back, he basically just says no he'll only request it when I get back. I then ask another person for help because this guy clearly wasn't doing anything and seemed generally unwilling to help. So the new guy tells me to go to the "director" to which I explained what happened. I go to the car and come back and at the entrance find a group of about 5 people discussing my situation. So I go to the director (again as requested) and she knowing the situation tells me the same unwilling guy will help me. I tell her no thank you and I left. Apple is known for their usually stellar service but the staff at this location clearly are in need of training or changing.
The reason for the 1 star is because I was unable to purchase at this location.

This store has to be the worst in customer service. I spent 4 hours waiting to see a customer rep to deal with my problem. I had to explain my issue to probably 6 different people, their attention span is comparable to a little child.one person would start helping me then disappear.all they did was talk down to me and belittle me.insulting and offensive behaviour. I’ll take my business to the Waterloo store from now on

This apple store is not as busy as Mississauga so it’s easier to get an appointment or to speak with staff when you get to the store. Everything else is your typical apple retail experience.

Never been so disappointed in Apple, spend 2 hours waiting to be seen get told twice in the same visit my phone will be replaced.first due to the screen popping out then again for an issue with dropping calls.only to be told at the end we actually wanna send it out for 7 days! Why did I waste all this time to be told that you can not keep your word. I will be selling this phone and never dealing with apple again absolutely ridiculous!

I love my Apple products but the service at this location is pretty poor. I came in to buy a Mac mini which I told the Apple gatekeeper at the door who told me to go stand at the Mac mini on display and someone would attend to me. I waited 15 min saw lots of other buyers walk in getting served but not me.upon asking how long this would take and why? I was told that in my ‘section’ I was the fourth in line.huh? I walked out.

Brand new MacBook Pro less than 5 months old no appointment available within weeks and is showing display issues. Walked in and they would not take me in because they we’re busy and told me to book for next week, then proceeds to tell me I can try doing walking in which is what I was doing. Not helpful at all specially for a $3000 purchase.

You guys want me to leave my laptop there for five days to get it repaired? Are you serious? My next laptop definitely won't be an Apple. Only reason I bought this one was to be able to develop an app for iPhone. Since then, I must say I've grown to love the desktop on Mac.but I can't afford five days downtime for a machine that is the lifeblood of my business.

Busy as always for Apple but was greeted right away by helpful staff. Clean and great location. Got what I needed done quickly and they only took an hour to change out my iPhone battery. Would recommend making an appointment before going though to avoid long waits.

The employee named Chris with the grey hair taking the Genius Apple Support appointments is absolutely the worst employee I have ever came across in my entire life. He is absolutely clueless about customer service. I was talking to his co-worker who would not give me his name and this guy tried to fool me by letting me talk to his so called “manager”, Chris. He is literally his CO WORKER and has no superiority over him.

I asked for the General Manager, “Heather” but Chris told me he does not know when she will ever be here. I asked for more information but he would not cooperate because as if he was trying to not get in trouble from my complaint to his GM.

Chris needs to develop customer service skills and listen to their customers instead of being extremely assertive and not taking blame and not listening.

I will drive to Etobicoke, ON to the Fairview Mall location because this Apple Store lost a regular customer.

Went exactly as expected - unfortunately.needed help wiping an old ipod clean.want to donate it to an organization collecting ipods for seniors with alzheimer’s.couldn’t find a way to do it myself.also, couldn’t book an appointment ahead of time as the ipod isn’t one of the hardware options.after waiting in line at the door, was told by the door person, i should be able to wipe it clean myself - wow that was helpful.apparently my look convinced him that an escort to the genius bar checkin person would be more helpful.not that it was, because i was told i would have to wait one and half hours for an available spot.really? You have NO capacity for walk-in appointments?

I went in and they told me my laptop will be ready Monday if not Sunday but probably Sunday. Calling on Saturday they said there would be no way it would be done until at least Tuesday. On Tuesday I called again and was told it wouldn't be done for 2 or 3 days. I told them specifically when I was giving it in I had midterms and I needed it, I wasn't going to leave it if it was taking more then 3 days and that was fine but for them to tell me. Finally I came in to pick up my laptop after cancelling the repair after taking much longer then excepted and it took them 25 just to return my laptop. Extremely annoyed with Apple- considering I have an iPhone, iPad and many other products I am seriously considering buying with them again.
