Je suis déçu du service. Je devais réparer mon Iphone 14 pro max. J’ai du prendre 4 RDV pr que le problème soit résolu.
Lors de mon 4eme rdv la conseillère m’a laissé tomber, et une autre est venu me voir et elle ne me laissait pas poser de questions, et elle me parlait très très mal je donnerai Zero pr celle-ci Après.
3h d’attente aux magasins un jeune homme a réussi à détecter le problème et me remplacer la pièce.
J’espère ne plus avoir de problème pour ne plus revenir à ce Store, j’ai vécu une expérience traumatisante.

Greeting their customers would be nice instead of standing around. Walked past several employees and they did the same to me, not a single acknowledgement. I thought Apple was all about customer service? Not this location. On the other hand, store was well organized and decent selection of products.

Melissa at this location is so helpful! She assisted me on the phone for almost half an hour while I was asking questions about iPads. I really felt like my questions were important and it wasn’t a chore to help me.

Scheduled an appointment and was sitting around at one of the tables for 15 minutes. The workers weren't very helpful and I had other plans and couldn't wait around randonly for someone to come by. I guess plan your day around it? These clowns.

I do cleaning related work here on occasion and a shipment came in early because of holiday schedule in the states. All got sorted in due order though. Store remained clean as usual on my part too. I only helped clear stuff to get the crates in. Then back to my routine.

I went to pick up my ordered product today. So naturally, I went to the agent who was sitting next to the “express pickup” sign. He apparently saw me waiting there-however- he continued having chat with the people he was talking to there (yes he was trying to sell product to the customers he was talking to, however, there were a lot of unnecessary parts in the conversation). For example, after a while the customers noticed that we have been waiting for quite some time, so they kindly said that they’ll go check out the products (and “get away for a sec”, then the agent said something like “oh I definitely want you to stay (with me), wouldn’t want you to leave” in a quite dramatic tone and stopped them from going to the side to check the products. It was at least solid 5-10 minutes of us waiting for him to finish the chat. We have absolutely no problem with the staff helping customers and have long conversations about the product. However as I have pointed out, he was the only one at “express pickup” sign, and he DID NOT AT ALL acknowledge our existence (waiting for him) for solid at least five minutes, and his conversation had quite some unnecessary parts. Honestly, we could care less if he wants to just chat with some people at work and ignore other customers. However, then he should stay away from the pickup sign because people actually go there for EXPRESS PICKUP.
We got help from another girl who wore black t-shirt, and she was very helpful and fast. We spent less than five minutes to get our ordered product and complete the rest of the payment.
Hard to imagine that these two staff work in the same store (yes the 3 stars are all for that girl).

Bough apple leather case (Almost $80) it’s color changed from brown to black in 5 months, lowest leather quality ever. Even the fake ones are not as low as the original

Buyer beware. Purchased a Pro Max and within 13 days it had a scratch on the screen just from taking it in and out of my pocket.

Asked an employee and manager about it, and they effectively said it was my fault. They told me to put a screen protector on it and should have done so immediately after purchase.

So much for the "Ceramic Shield, tougher than any smartphone glass" claim.

Honestly one of the worse customer service. All they wanted was my money I had a manufacturer warranty for a year, never came because I had no issues. Until the end of the warranty time was passed by two days. So they couldn’t replace my camera part. Camera wasn’t even broken phone just had a unknown error and couldn’t verify the camera for a iPhone 12 Pro Max. So my best choice was to replace it and that would cost $150. After a few weeks the error was gone and my camera has no issues. All they want is money screw apple.

I have bought many items at this location over the years. Top notch sales and service, if I could I would give 6 stars.
I got my matching apple wallet for my iPhone 13 pro max today on New Year’s Eve 2021/2022. It looks so beautiful.
One time I dropped my previous iPhone 11pro max and a car ran over it. Within the same day I had Apple at this location repair my glass and I had my phone back in 3 hours and it cost me around $35 as I had AppleCare.

Bought screen protector and case from this store. The representative told me they were fully covered. I tried to replace it today and turns out that Apple’s version of “fully” covered means something different than the rest of us would think. The rep who sold me the case did NOT mention any limitations and customers shouldn’t be penalized for poor training. On top of that, even though the manager saw that I was clearly upset he was very patronizing which made me even more irritated. I am genuinely shocked at how bad this location is. I recommend you avoid it if you can. If you have to go, try taking down the full name of your customer service representative so you can call them out if they hide things from you.

Horrible experience. Cheia told me it closed at 6 and I went there and it was closed an hour earlier and now I have to wait a whole weekend because of this false misinformation. Never coming back here again and I would not recommend

I was asked to come to the Rideau store by Greg over the phone. When I arrived at the store I was told no walk ins available. The girls working outside the store wearing red t shirts were rude with me by not trying to help out rather than giving excuses to send me away.

I called at 4: 30 on christmas eve to ask how long they were open til, I was told til 6. I drove 45 minutes to get there just for the manager “Chris” to rudely tell me “Well, it’s the right call to close early, in the spirit of christmas. ”

I asked what about my christmas gifts and the call I made? His response “Sounds super unfortunate for you, not my problem”.

I asked for his email or name to file a complaint, he said it’s 1800-MyAPPLE. Thanks chris, now my grandparents won’t be getting a gift to skype their children.

Terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. They hold your phones hostage. Got a call that my phone was ready to be picked up. But the store is magically closed until further notice. Was told to check the store website for up to date hours before coming. So I did, I checked the website one hour before coming and it stated that the store was open. Low and behold when I got there, the store was closed contrary to what was stated on their website! This is not how you should run a business. Seems more like a circus instead. I do not recommend as they keep customers in the dark. Spin the wheel to see if the store is open. 50/50% chance of it being open or not. Do not go to this location, maybe the bayshore location is more professional. -5/5 score.

Busy store with friendly staff. I feel the service has improved. A few yes ago whenever I went to this store the staff were rude and arrogant. Now I find them very good to engage with.

Very poor experience here compared to other Apple Stores. Brought my MacBook in to have the defective/recalled Butterfly keyboard replaced. I was told it would take five days, but I took nearly two weeks, and when I finally was told it was ready for pick up, I arrived only to be told they hadn’t even *started* the repair yet.

The real kicker was that when I finally *did* get it back, they replaced my French Canadian keyboard with and English one! Imagine getting your MacBook back with a keyboard of a different language. Very disappointed with their service, will not be coming back.

It was kinda dead, deserted.in fact, the whole CF Centre seemed deserted even during Christmas time. Must be the pandemic effect on the economy.

-This store maybe not be huge, but it has everything you would expect from an Apple Store; customer-oriented and customer-driven services.
-The Genius bar is really filled with geniuses, and they'll help you with any kind of assistance you may need.
-Want to test a new product before deciding to purchase it? Head to that play area, and enjoy the on-display Apple devices.
-The wall consisting of accessories will keep you busy too, as their are so many choices.
-The best product experience you can get.

Just came back home from this store and very disappointed as we drove from outside Ottawa area during a pandemic. We were greeted by a representative who asked what we were interested in and I responded by saying we wanted to purchase (not view) an Ipad mini. The Rep took us to view the Ipad Mini and left us. We sought out another representative and the 2nd Rep and asked again what we were interested in and I responded again that I wanted to purchase an Ipad Mini. He responded that he will send over an Ipad specialist over and the 3rd Rep asked again what we were interested in and I responded for the 3rd time to purchase an Ipad Mini and she responded that there are none in stock and that we had to order online. Wow, it took three Representatives to tell us that there were none in stock. Why couldn't the 1st or even the 2nd Rep inform us that there is no stock due to shortages. Honestly, there should be a sign at the front stating limited stock items and view online versus going through the waiting process. A very frustrating experience since they weren't very busy and seemed like they had too many staff available. We are proud Apple customers and always will be but will not visit or shop at this store again as we will order online with Apple.

Very busy location. You have to see about 2-3 people before getting any help. There was a guy working with a pink-eye when I visited. Employees don't spci distance from customers. I brought my macbook in for repairs and they forgot to return my charger adapter amd lighting cable. Still waiting.

DO NOT GO THERE.
I went there to replace the battery of my iPhone, and since that day, the power entrance of my phone isn’t working properly, nether to change or headphone.
I brought there many times to complain about this, every time they look at that and said it doesn’t have any problems, that should be my cables, they replace my headphones, and the problem continue. So last time there they said has a problem at the port but it is impossible they did that and they can’t help me with nothing. So funny how they said many times that didn’t have any problem, and when I can actually prove that has a problem, the problem is mine, it isn’t their fault.
I regret have been there, and I’ll never come back there.

Edt: I called at Apple to complain about this store and they asked me to go to the other store at the Bayshore and they fixed my problem there.

Went online to book an appointment for my iPhone when I could no longer boot it up and it wouldn't let me proceed unless I received and entered a verification code, which I couldn't receive because my phone wouldn't boot up. This was AFTER I entered my password. So there's no way to book an appointment to have your phone fixed without having a working phone.

The first guy misunderstood our question and made us wait for more than an hour.i was about to give a 1 star rating but there was one girl named Danielle who was just wonderful and came at our rescue.only her service was worth the wait ;) she apologized for the wait and answered all of our questions perfectly and with honesty.thank you so much Danielle! Someone give her a raise please haha.

Never been to an apple store before, needless to say, probably the best custom service experience I've ever received. I had my own cashier/service employee to answer my questions and check me out. Very open concept and felt pretty fancy coming out with an apple bag lol

Most employees are nice and trying to help, but for that old employee in the genius Bar, please give him a break, he is stressing, trying to prove me that I don’t have a problem in my computer without even checking it… and after trying to tell me he knows his job… Apple store need young professionals, that guy need help changing the diapers… how can he help customers?

3 “geniuses” at the back table chatting without customers (and 5 other staff doing nothing) yet the next appointment available was tomorrow at 11: 30 to talk about a cracked screen. Walked past 10 minutes later and there were 4 Geniuses still doing nothing. Too bad… it was a 5 minute chat.

UPDATED REVIEW: Its been 5 years plus since I switched to Apple products and it still remains an awesome experience and even more so during the PANDEMIC! The 2 Apple stores here in Ottawa continue to be open albeit right now theres no in store shopping during the current lock down. However, the stores remain accessible for Genius Bar Appointments & Express Pickup of online purchases. Picking up my orders is streamlined, seamless and a joy! Everyone is kept safe! The Apple Store Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful! My experiences continue to be nothing short of stellar! ️

I booked an appointment at this store today to have an AirPod replaced which is covered by warranty. The Genius Bar rep ran a diagnostic on the AirPods and concluded that one would have to be replaced. However, there was a conflict between my receipt showing a purchase date of 06/24/2020 and what was showing on Apple’s internal system, showing a date of January 2020, which would make them out of warranty. The rep I was dealing with advised me that I could leave the AirPods at the store for 5 days, the suggested duration of time it would supposedly take for Apple to resolve the issue on their end via an investigation. This was not satisfactory to me since I do not have time to return to the store. I asked to speak to a manager. I quickly met Matthew, the Lead Genuis at the store, who also advised me that the process to have my defective AirPod replaced would be 5 days. He made clear that he would not do anything for me. I asked him what was the name of his GM, to which he refused. I asked to speak to someone higher than Matthew, to which he claimed he was the only manager on duty. I asked for their GM’s business card, which he claimed they only had generic cards. I advised Matthew not to lie to me, that I would do my homework and figure out if what he was saying was true. I was promptly brushed away.

On the way out of the store, I approached the individual who checked me in while I was in line, Michaela (who was extremely friendly and helpful). I inquired about her GM, and I was provided with their name. I also requested to speak to another manager, which she was happy to track down for me. I spoke to another manager, Farhan, who provided me with great service and advised to to call Apple to have the conflict on the purchase date resolved. I was told that it likely could be resolved with one call, a claim that was in direct conflict with what I was told my Matthew and his rep. The very fact that I was speaking to another manager was in direct conflict with what Matthew told me about being the only manager in store.

The warranty issue aside, as a customer I don’t appreciate being given the runaround and lied to when I made clear to the Lead Genius, Matthew, that I would be following up to ensure he was giving me correct information. Extremely arrogant, unprofessional behaviour from someone who is a store leader.

I have just purchased an new iPad mini and an iPencil. The iPencil will not pair to my iPad. I have phone Apple Rideau 3 times, gone through the automated questions and each time they hang up instead of putting me through. I may just return the iPencil instead of trying to get it to work! NOT IMPRESSED~

Hard to find good managers at this place. I feel like it's always someone who is extremely unpleasant to deal with. Apple customers like me who invested most of their income in apple products take bad service personally.

Horrible service. They have an art of ignoring you. What is really sad I got better service from the McDonalds drive thru that morning. I spent $11 at Mickeys and over $1500 at Apple. How does that equate?

I want to give Jackson a HUGE SHOUTOUT! I came in for a customer service issue, returning/rebuying. Just nothing fun to do as a retail employee. Stipulations and multiple payment types. Not once did he make me feel like a burden; even though I kind of was. He was helpful corrected inaccurate information provided to me at Apple Bayshore and overall was just a joy to deal with. As a regional manager I appreciate these types of interactions so much and it is so important to recognize great employees like Jackson that make the overall experience better. He went above and beyond and was just enjoyable to deal with! Thank you Jackson!

Always full of "Rideau rats" and people who think they are better than everyone else just because they have an apple product, that even more heavily discriminate the already large amount of "Rideau rats" that sit in there charging their phones all day taking up space.

All Apple products are complete garbage. My Ipod touch 5 is in terrible shape, always lagging, shutting down randomly and failing to connect to the WiFi. Last night it randomly shut down and locked the device. After going to this store and waiting for a support staff for over an hour they told me that they were too busy and couldn't help me. Terrible service!

I took my headphones in for repair under warranty I thought I will walk away with new sets of headphones but no was told to ship it in to Toronto and wait 5 business days to know if new ones will be provided to me or not now going to spend a whole week with no MUSIC whatsoever! #Sad spend your $ you told you have warranty and now this is how it works. This was the first ever Apple store the service is good they have every product you want and looking for by Apple. But if you have a problem with your device come and early or get a appointment by phone it gets really busy.

I will never visit that store again I will not even buy an iPhone again. Iphone warranty is useless and that specific store will never change your iPhone even if you have a software problem or a device problem. I had an E-mail from Rogers saying that my phone was defective and my phone is dropping calls for the past three months they didn’t even change my phone and it is under warranty.

It's an Apple store. As a non apple user, feels a bit weird to be there buying a mini tripod but they service was good and they weren't sure if the machines support anything but Apple Pay but Samsung Pay works.

Incompetent geniuses is more like it. Great job on booking my appointment but huge FAIL on holding the appointment. The genius manager instead of offering solutions was just quick and abrupt indicating there is nothing he can do. They even admitted fault by giving my slot to a walk in. Terrible customer service!

Went for a battery replacement at 5: 50. Dropped off the phone and was told it would be ready by 7: 45. Came back at 7: 45 and I was told it would be another 10 minutes. I waited in the apple store for another hour and finally received the phone after 3 hours at 8: 50. Terrible customer service.

Awful sales. Gave a brand new replacement iphone with scratch on front lens, and says even it's not customer fault, they will not exchange it.

Always have excellent service. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Sometimes difficult to get appoitnments, but worth the wait!
